Crowded place. The cashier was friendly. She had gloves on when taking people payment. The problem came in when she would use the same gloves to cook peoples order and I seen her touch the inside of the frying back with the same gloves she used to take customers payments. Then proceeded to put the chicken in the fryer and dropped it in the grease. She come back to the front to take more customers orders then go back to the kitchen and with the same gloves pull up the chicken in the frying basket and touched it with the same gloves, then dropped it back in grease and her mom in the back walked up and started cooking. Never seen her wash her hands. Like two minutes later, she pulls up the chicken in the fry basket and touches it with her bare hands before putting it back in the grease. The mom still had no gloves on. This is a very unsanitary place to eat, and I would not recommend it.

Pepper steak with shrimp lomein I gave 3 stars because noodles were red not used to this noodle. A bit thinner than normal

I usually like Panda Express but this one has consistently blander, overcooked food. Granted, maybe there are stricter requirements at a university or something because it leans into school cafeteria territory for certain levels of taste but the Subway on campus tastes like Subway, and the Starbucks food and drinks taste like Starbucks food and drink, so that's probably not the issue. I can't speak to the other set of eateries but at the very least I know I'm going to be avoiding the vending machine sushi... and so should everyone, ever.

Employees were rude and gave significantly smaller portions than we usually receive.

I’m sorry, but when a Chinese restaurant has an American name, it never turns out right bad seasoning rice Just looks like they put soy sauce and I asked for beef and broccoli not onions and mushrooms. Couple of pieces of beef and three broccoli sprigs. N I have a garden outside the chicken and peppers were more peppers than anything like they took a fourth of chicken breast and cut it up with three bell peppers and two onions 0/10

The sauce is very water and the fried rice is plain. I had the number one and my bell pepper still has the sticker on it

Went in to eat supper. Should have taken notice with very few patrons eating in. Some of the dishes that should have been hot were cold. One pan of noodles had a boiled fish taste, yet that was not offered on the buffet tables. Was asked if all was still good, I replied "NO" several times as the server walked away. She said well hope it gets better, and never returned. I got upset with manners and went to cashier to pay for 2 meals. I wrote on back of ticket that customer's opinion matter. When asked for management, was told none there, was going to be cashier. I left still upset. I should have gone to Lin's instead.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. I drive from Houma just to eat here, when I'm craving Chinese food.

I haven't been here since we moved 5 years ago. We drove 60 miles last night and everything was as expected. Great food, clean restaurant and the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They even accommodated my dietary needs due to bariatric surgery!

Went here to dine in today with my mom and it was a huge disappointment. The food was lukewarm , little to no food available, stale looking food . We spent over 40 dollars and only ate one plate of food . I will never return . Plus the place is ran down and raggedy

We thoroughly enjoyed the food from New China. The food was so fresh & delicious. The customer service on the phone was so good. I just wish we had left overs! We will definitely be ordering again soon. We highly recommend the imperial chicken & egg drop soup!

We always take out our food. We did eat once there, and it was great. Good service. My order is always right and you get a lot of food for the price. Very friendly staff.

Tried Pei Wei out while shopping at Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie. Not bad for food court food. Portions are very large. Sharing would be a good idea.

I come here pretty regularly and I don’t usually leave reviews, but when the employee at the register was cashing me out the machine shut down in the middle of the transaction. The payment went through on my end. I informed her and showed her on my account. She charged me agin and the payment said it went through a second time when I informed her she argued with me and told me I didn’t need the receipt, but the amount she charged me was subtracted from the original amount on my card twice.

I will never understand the bad reviews of this place, but haters are gonna hate. I have had nothing but SUPERIOR SERVICE! The dude at the counter knows his regulars by name. They are always friendly and fast. This is the neighborhood Chinese place that you want to go to every time. Love y'all!

Delicious food and very reasonable prices. The staff inside is super friendly and make great suggestions. This is very much a no-frills place but food Is cooked to order. Super fresh super tasty and Carefully packed. If you’re in the area, I recommend them.

This shop is a sham. They said they are not associated with Panda Express chain but an independent restaurant. They are serving in bigger plate the quantity what normal panda Express serves in normal plate. They don't honor Panda Express points. And the staff is rude. Total sham. Not sure how Panda Express chain is allowing them to operate.

I would give zero stars if possible. I don’t usually write reviews, but I received such terrible service and food that I made time today. I ordered ahead for convenience; however, they ran 20 minutes past my pickup time. Not even a single apology was given…fine. The worst part was that I received 4 very small pieces of “beef” with my black pepper sirloin steak bowl. I say “beef” because 1 piece was a chunk of fat and another piece was an inedible ligament, so I got only 2 small pieces of actual meat. Anyway, this was my first time at this Panda Express, and it will certainly be my last. They probably don’t care, but a restaurant can’t survive long with such a low level of service. Save your time and money.

I found a choice is not to be a lot. The header 10 choices of the protein in the headache rolls and side stuff. What I had heard about this place for the name basically, was it the food was fantastic. I found it overrated.$10 is a good price. But on a three compartment tray the biggest compartment was filled with fried rice. The protein I ordered seemed as though it had been sitting out for a while. The edges were hard and tough to chew. Had a good flavor but it was still tough to chew. With a drink I spent about almost $14 to $15. I didn't find that a good price. When I could have drove to the other end of a parking lot sit down had many more choices and could go back for seconds for $18 to $20. I was really kind of disappointed. Maybe I expected too much because of all the advertisement.
