Best Chinese food I've had in YEARS! Staff was so amazing and let you try before ordering. Everything we tried was so good. This is a place you will keep coming back to! Glad I listened to others and gave it a try!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, actively encouraging us to try anything we wanted before ordering. The food itself was fantastic, perfect flavor and texture. My family and I can't wait to come back!

The owner lady who answers the phone is was one of the rudest humans on the planet. Been living her for 10 years and refuse to go back there after my latest experience with her. She really wanted to lose business after refusing to give me a 4th fortune cookie on a 60 dollar order because there was only 3 combos, but didn't care about all the soups, extra rice and Rangoons that were ordered. She's always rude and short with everyone as I've seen her tear down a lady who asked if the ly could make some hot and sour soup and she essentially yelled at her for not ordering ahead. Terrible customer service. Will NEVER be back.

I absolutely love this place for a quick, delicious meal. My favs, hot spicy shrimp, curry shrimp, and lo mein...any type. They no longer serve bone in ribs. But, everything else is still served hot and delicious. The kitchen can be seen from the front counter, and I'm pleased to report it is always clean whenever I go. *Still no dine in available.

I throughly enjoyed my entire experience. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful 😋 The buffet is set up to accommodate small or big groups! I ordered the seafood combination and it was large portioned and delicious 😋 Come over here for some delicious food!

Solid choice. Think about how everywhere else wants at least $10 for a combo.. I came here mostly because of their dinner buffet, since it has crawfish. For $15.99, you really can’t beat that. If you want a quiet experience, come here. They just renovated & the food is good. Buffet is small but has a good bit of choices. PS the sauces are alongside the salad bar. Food always comes out hot as a result. There was always an employee stirring the food to make sure it stayed hot.. wiping it down. I love their attention to detail. Manager is very kind & has great recommendations.

Very good food…. Some say the buffet is small and it is on the smaller size but it does have the most popular food selections. I would definitely come back 💜💛

The last few times we have gone the food has been extremely salty & makes our stomachs hurt so freaking bad. We thought it may be something else going on with our stomachs, but after the 4th time of this happening only when we eat at this particular restaurant, it's definitely the food or some ingredient/ingredients they're using. We will not be returning.

It's a small space, but the food and service make up for it. You know good Chinese food is seeved in small, mom & pop restaurants! There is nothing different here. This is the 1st Chinese food that I can say is good in Baton Rouge. The hot & sour soup is flavored different from what I am used to, but it's still good. The honey shrimp was crisp and flavorful The noodles were a tad bit salty for my liking but were cooked just right The ragoons were done properly and the egg roll was a perfect addition to the meal. The tables, floors, and counter were all clean as well. I'll be back to try different items!!!

Everything we ordered tasted good. Unfortunately, two out of the three Egg Foo Youngs had massive egg shell pieces that could not possibly have been missed even by a blind person (see pic). Clearly there's no quality control exercised.

I haven't been in a while, but I love this place so much I came back to leave a review. We had a newborn when we first discovered them, and the owners gave us all sorts of gifts for her like hair clips and one time a dress. This was all very nice, but the real reason this place deserves 5 stars is the food. All the other Chinese food places in town taste basically the same with varying levels of dryness, but the quality of food here is noticably better. I don't know if it's the ingredients or the skill or both, but this is easily my favorite Chinese food restaurant in town.

Love this place. Literally the best Chinese food in BR. Always super fast and the food is so good. The woman and man both that run it are absolutely amazing as well, super sweet people. The restaurant itself is always clean and organized as well.

Pick up times vary on when it'll actually be ready however even if it's taken longer your food is still always fresh. I'd rather wait a few extra minutes for fresh food than to be waiting on my food getting cold for no reason! As far as quality I've never had a complaint in the 10 or so years we've patronized this restaurant.

Called in to place an order and was met with rudeness right off the bat. The older lady who answered the phone was extremely short and unprofessional. I had seen similar complaints in other reviews but didn’t think I’d experience it myself—unfortunately, I did. Definitely disappointing service.

Pretty good. The place is blocked off and they have a window to give you food. They talk to you through an intercom. A little strange. Food is great. Good prices. 9/3/24 update. Place is still great. Updated menu posted.

Yea don’t eat this. The chicken is always unidentifiable which seems they have something to hide. I would order because they were close and convenient, I’m more concerned with my health and piece of mind. The battered chicken was a gummy exterior with sauce dry dark unrecognized meat substance interior. The teriyaki was dry dark meat that did not resemble a chicken thigh that had been marinaded. Order at your risk.

The atmosphere is typical of a fast food restaurant that deals mostly in take out.. the service seemed to take a bit longer that it should.. we entered and the door chimed out presence.. nobody came to the counter to greet us.. we found a menu and chose what we wanted.. stood at the counter until noticed... gave our order and waited over a good 20 minutes (felt like an eternity in times of Chinese food quickness). I got the boneless ribs with beef fried rice and the chicken teriyaki. My wife got the lemon chicken with pork fried rice. We got fried wonton and pan fried dumplings as well. Not too excited about any of it... most thing I noticed is the dryness.. the ribs were dry... the chicken teriyaki was very dry and did not taste much like teriyaki...the beef fried rice was ok.. (only 3-4 small slivers of beef.. ) the fried wonton were very dry..(over fried in low temp oil IYKYK) my wife's lemon chicken was also dry (she did not feel the same).. the lemon sauce was remnant of the fleeting flavor of fruit stripe gum.. the pan fried dumplings were very good I must say... the dipping sauce was IMO a bit heavy with the rice wine vinegar.. but compliments the dumplings quite nicely... I plan on coming back to try the wonton soup and beef and broccoli.. all in all... not horrible... I feel it could be so much more.. /btw.. were were there for about an hour..and only one person came in and realized quickly that the were in the wrong place.. 😕

I have eating there for years. Family owned, friendly and consistenly good tasting food!

The Food is horrible and they are very expensive The Rice was Hard the Shrimp are pre breaded and the portion was no worth $18 a plate

Atmosphere is absolutely fine for Chinese take out- so does not really apply. The place seemed clean and the staff was friendly. The lo mein, happy family and beef with peppers was delish. My family tore it up and enjoyed every bite ! We will be back !

I eat here two or three times a week. Same order. Same good food. Owner is always here and friendly. Will continue eating here till I'm old and gray or they close. Can't beat the prices. And can't beat the food. Don't know anywhere else you can eat for less than 10 bucks and have some leftover. With a drink.

I order Honey chicken with extra sauce, and shrimp fried rice. $19.27. The honey chicken sauce was watery. Chicken looked like sweet and sour chicken that was soggy. And shrimp fried rice was mushy and so was the shrimp. I picked upthe food before work. Anf it was necessary to leave work and ask for a refund. Before making the trip there a refund was promised. When i arrived the only woman cashier gave me a hard time after i told her my issue with the food. Netherless, she gave me my refund and as i walked out the door. Shouted out In front of two elderly custumers dining in. "dont ever come back here thats why nobody likes you. " If i can rate it a negative 5 stars I would.
