Bit of a hidden gem in Bellevue. The menu is your standard American Chinese restaurant but they really shine with their quality and ingredients. We had the dumplings, hot and sour soup, and seafood delight. The dumplings they deep fried so that they were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I've ever had! Thick, full of ingredients. In the seafood delight, they use full deep sea scallops, not the bay scallops you usually see. The dish was well balanced, they didn't try to fill you up with fried rice, the rice was a side and the seafood delight was the star of the dish. Fairly plane looking inside and out, so you're really going to go for the food and you might not assume it would be as good as it is just from a look at the building. Worth the trip. I'm going to have cravings for that hot and sour soup!

"Golden Bowl is the absolute best! The food is consistently fresh and authentic, and the service surpasses every other restaurant in town. Behind it all is an owner who truly cares—going above and beyond, even delivering food himself when needed. His dedication to his dream is inspiring! If you want real, delicious authenticity, Golden Bowl is the place to be. Highly recommend!"

Came here to also comment on the preposterous tip sign. You can see the name of their restaurant in the lower hand corner. Restaurant obviously caught in a lie in the other response to a customer.

Great food right near the crossroads mall

I’ve been here many times and it’s always a solid go-to! The Sweet & Sour Fried Pork is my absolute favorite — crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. The scallion pancake is perfectly flaky and not greasy, and the cilantro beef is super fragrant and satisfying, especially with the chili seasoning. The self-ordering system is convenient, and the environment is clean and welcoming. Just a heads-up — the food prep time can be a bit inconsistent, especially during busy hours, but it’s usually worth the wait. If you’re craving hearty, flavorful Northern Chinese dishes, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Crispy fish is super delicious and fresh. I really love it!

Was hungry when I went to the AFM to shop so I decided to give it a try. I didn’t have high expectation as there hasn’t been a good Hainanese chicken place in the Seattle-Bellevue area that tastes closer to home. But I have to say that I’m impressed with this place. The chicken is exceptionally tender and crispy at the same time. Pictures don’t do it justice!! If I can give additional points, the green sauce is on point! We bought chicken rice and chicken soup. Good aroma, texture, and portion size. The soup is super high quality, definitely worth the price! I also got the coconut jelly which I have been craving for since the only place that sold this closed down a long time ago. But this is a hidden gem. If there is anything they should improve is the wait time, but it’s probably because there are so many online orders which I should have done before hand. Definitely will come back.

Tried their Shredded Chicken with Lime and it was a total surprise hit! Light, zesty, and super refreshing , the lime adds the perfect tang to the tender chicken. Honestly, I came for the Hainanese chicken rice (which is amazing), but this dish deserves just as much love. It’s the kind of flavor that wakes up your taste buds without being too heavy. So glad I gave it a try , will definitely order it again!

Order by QR code and quick service. Best deal is the congee that you can refill yourself. We also got their cucumber appetizer (with cumin), beef pancake and tofu soup. However all were quite oily. I’d just go back for the bottomless congee. Their live edge bench seating is easy for big groups or family.

Extremely delicious. I wanted to try everything. I ate too much! 😄

Authentic and Quick food. Great service. Peking duck crepe was delicious and a fairly large service for 1 person as it comes with 2 crepe wraps. Could serve 2 people as a snack. I had the option for extra sauce inside and it was free. I just wish the crepe itself was a bit more crispy on the outside. Definitely have to eat sitting down and less on the on go.

I loved the authentic taste of the crepes here—they’re perfectly thin, crisp, and packed with flavor. The service was quick, even during busy hours, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you want a true crepe fix without the wait!

This place is great! I tried the mini jianbing (bacon and meat floss) and a mango fruit tea with popping bubble. It was ready when I arrived, the restaurant is clean, and there are a few outdoor spots to sit in if you don't want to be inside. You can order online or use the machine inside. Reasonably priced and everything tastes delicious.

Very great food and service! It is very clean and provided gloves, wipings, sooo sweet! There are plent of parking downstairs, smooth experience. Recommend duck soup, crawfish crepe and duck roll!

Dan Gui Sichuan Cuisine offers a good dining experience, especially for seafood lovers seeking bold and flavorful dishes. The restaurant's menu showcases a wide variety of options with a grand selection of seafood dishes that stand out. From delicate fish to rich shellfish, each dish is diligently prepared, bringing out the fresh, natural flavors while infusing the heat and zest of Sichuan spices. For those who prefer meat, the restaurant doesn’t disappoint with its robust array of dishes either. One of the key highlights of the menu is the spiciness, which is a hallmark of Sichuan cuisine. From fiery hot-pots to spicy stir-fries, the bold, tongue-tingling flavors are perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat in their meals. But even for those not so keen on spice, the balance of flavors ensures that each dish is enjoyable. In addition to the great flavors, the prices at Dan Gui Sichuan Cuisine are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly, making it a great place for a casual meal or a gathering with friends and family. Overall, I suggest this place for anyone who loves authentic Sichuan cuisine.

The food was really yummy, the crispy chicken was our least favorite, we could not taste the chicken and it was more oily. The pancake were fresh and flakey l. The dry pot and cumin lamp were our favorite

Great place to grab an economical meal that is tasty. Portions are good and some favorite dishes are smoked duck that is juicy and tender, lamb in spicy gravy sauce had a nice portion of meat that is spicy and tender. Didn't love any of the dry pots (house special chili dishes) we ordered there, frog or beef. FeiTeng roasted fish was not worth $60.

We came here specifically to try the '水煮鱼片' that is called 'Sole Fish Fillets' in this chinese restaurant. First impression wasn't that great because the fish slices are heavily coated with too much flour; altering the texture and taste of this dish. We'll probably visit this place again to re-validate this dish. Hopefully, next visit will be better since this is one of our favorite fish dishes. Food aside, this restaurant is spacious, and feels clean. Service is friendly and prompt as well.

Overall feedback: It’s worth checking out once, but I wouldn’t recommend going back regularly. Environment: It’s fine, typical decoration for a traditional Shanghai street-food restaurant. Service: Very good. Possibly because it wasn’t peak hours, the servers came right away whenever we called, which is much better than most Chinese restaurants in Seattle area. Food: Pork chop: Acceptable, fairly tender, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Green Oion oil noodles: Not bad, about average. Small wontons: Very good, the filling had shrimp, giving them a nice texture, the wonton soup itself was just okay, it wasn’t a rich broth, and it only had seaweed and small dried shrimp, lacked egg strips (maybe they just weren’t scooped into my bowl). Curry beef vermicelli soup: Thumbs down, absolutely bad, I’ve never had something this tasteless. Fried dumplings: about average, but the wrapper is a bit sticky. Price: Very expensive, two of us spent over $80, and with tax and tip it went past $100.

My two besties from southern part of China highly recommended this place nd took me there. They said it’s super authentic. Me as a Chinese from Northern part would just say the noodles is delicious. I’d trust that their certification I guess. Very small place. Have authentic Shanghai style noodles. Even the free appetizers is super local way to start a meal. If you craving for Shanghai food, this should be a good choice. 雪菜肉丝面 is a must, but my friends said they just missing one part, which is bamboo shoot.

But a restaurant is this clean? They can keep the lights up; bright airy, almost opulent. I watched local families nuzzle each other and feed their children. Details matter; a hot tea carafe waiting at table, a friend to friend tone in the server’s warning about spiciness, a table dish warmer, a tea carafe swap out. Two kinds of fiery dishes; and warnings were necessary. Not panic attack hot but you may experience adrenaline feast mode. Great spot.

3rd time we tried Sichuan cold noodles, 黄花鱼, and A菜. 2nd time dinner today we were lucky to get seats early before 6pm. waiting time was about 20mins for two people on a Friday night. Again the service staffs were friendly and prompt even though they were very busy. The wait staffs were the most hardest workers I’ve ever seen and hope they are paid well. They do all the cleaning and bring water to the tables. We ordered 毛氏红烧肉,湖南肉泡饭 recommended for not spicy和茄子刀豆 were all good 😊 The new Hunan restaurant is indeed a quite unique among many already in Bellevue. The service is prompt and friendly. The staffs all work tirelessly. Beef noodles - beef is somehow tasteless but I love the thin noodles. Stinky tofu with hot source is very crispy and tasty good. Most dishes are all with the right amount of salt and not too oily. Though the quantity is on the less side. Also the fish with hot source on the burner is also very good

I went to Dough Zone with my husband, and it was such a great experience! We started off with the herbal tea, which was a nice touch. The xiao long bao were amazing—so full of soup, yet the skin was super thin and didn’t break at all. I was impressed! Eating them the proper way with a soup spoon is definitely a must (haha). The Q Bao (pan-fried dumplings) were also incredible. The bottoms were crispy and fragrant—I felt like I could eat a dozen of them! It’s not just about dim sum here, either. They have a variety of side dishes, and I’m already planning to try more next time. The restaurant was clean and had a fresh feel. You just mark what you want on the order sheet and hand it to the server—super easy. Service was smooth, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely coming back!

Fairly busy place even early in the evening. A quick scribble on the order sheet and a few minutes of wait and the warm delicious food was on the table. The wait staff aaa very busy and didn't seem too thrilled to answer any questions on the menu. So a bit of a gamble on what we ordered, but all good. saw people order frozen dumplings to take home. Will try those next time.
