I was told if it doesn't look like much on the outside, that the food is usually good. So I went on a search and found this in the neighborhood. The sesame was good, and the Rangoons were just what I was looking for. I grabbed the sampler appetizer plate as well and wasn't disappointed. The food came out hot and fresh. It wasnt busy when we walked in so we got to watch the cook make our food. The couple running the place werent much for conversation but thats not what Im there for. This will be a repeat place for me when it comes to this genre of food.

Their website made ordering quick and easy. They are fast, friendly and the food is great. 😃👍

I used to eat here a lot about circa 2008. I remember the food being a lot better. I was still good, but just missing that kick. Plus I got white rice, and I thought I ordered their yellow fried rice, which is usually delicious. I guess the language barrier plays a part. All in all, it was still good. Better than the eastside dragon city. A restaurant I visit very rarely is China King. There's something nostalgic about this place. It's somewhere me and my ex used to visit on a regular. But today I decided to try something there I've never had. The egg drop and wonton soup. I was actually kinda impressed by everything. The wontons were meaty and flavorful, and the egg drop soup was the typical type I expect. It was honestly pretty exceptional. My last visit wasn't the greatest in the world, but this time China King knocked it out of the park.

We thank you so much. The food was really good and I really like the people there. I went there with my girl yesterday and we enjoyed it while watching Demon Slayer. We'll definitely be coming back there. :)

This was my first experience with Chopstix. I ordered online & picked up more food. My husband & I love their rice, it's not hard or mushy, it's cooled to perfection. I ordered the chicken fried rice because it's my favorite & I was pleasantly surprised that it had a lot of chicken. (other places I've been to skimp on the chicken). We also ordered the sweet & sour chicken, which was great. The quantity of food is worth the money! I definitely would recommend this place. It's great!

Amazing food for a cheap price. Served fresh and more food then you could ask for.

I have been sat here 40 minutes waiting for an order. Was told 5-10 minutes 20 minutes ago and had to stand at the counter staring to get any sort of acknowledgement. This location is consistently always 30-60 minutes behind with no justification.

I wanted to like this place but save yourself go to the one on south seneca WAYYYY better . First they forgot our food so had to go all the way back then the lemon chicken was AWFUL tasted like straight water .. my crabragoons Cold. it just overall was not a good experience..

Food was warm and good. The crab Rangoon had too many onions in it but I liked how light and crispy they were. Daughter loved the sweet and sour chicken and well as the fried rice. Sushi was fresh but really small. It would also be nice if they had more of their buffet items labeled. I didn't know what half the food was. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Oh and would you please put your pet fish in a larger tank? You've got 3 large gold fish in a 20 gallon tank, they need more swimming room.

Great food and place to eat, waitresses were friendly and nice. Wide selection of food, including sushi and dessert options. All food served was decently hot and fresh! Tables felt a little cramped, but I am a larger and taller guy (6'3".) Would visit again!

Picked up food for my kids and this is how it came. Noodles are dry and barely any sauce. Served it to my kids thinking maybe they would be okay with it considering they put almost no veggies in the chow mien but they complained how it was gross and lacked flavor.

C'mon Panda Express! My chow mein had more cabbage than noodles! @15$ a plate you can afford to give much better noodle ratios! Also you guys put a bunch of cabbage under my chicken too! Very sneaky!! Don't worry though I fed all the cabbage to the birds in your parking lot.

What happened to the menu?? I wish I would have read reviews before ordering. Historically we love eating here and look forward to the leftovers. Cashew chicken and lo mein were tasteless and mushy. The fried rice was black?? I'm so sad and I feel like we wasted money.

The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making the ordering process smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was prepared quickly and with great attention to detail. The crispy pork was so delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The service alone makes this place worth visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food here is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. You can really taste the quality of the fresh ingredients in every dish. Their deep-fried items are cooked to perfection—crispy, never greasy, and full of flavor. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the food is always hot and delicious. This place has become my go-to spot for Chinese food, and I recommend it to anyone craving authentic, well-made dishes.

Lemon sauce for the lemon chicken tasted like water with food coloring. No flavor. Steamed dumplings were not good either. Rice tasted Smokey like it was fried in dirty oil. Also they had no fortune cookies. This place used to be Great. I guess now they’re just a wall.

This location is the worst dining option in Derby. The service is the main issue which affects every meal at this Panda Express. The servers hurry the customer’s meal choices and get very rude about non-immediate responses to their questions. Deep, dramatic sighs and even deeper stares of irritation are common with this staff, including from managers. They typically are asking the next question about your order before you are even done responding to the previous inquiry, they will abruptly interrupt you if you say anything out of order while in their interrogation process, and they do NOT handle it well if any customer needs a moment to look over the options. This all gives a very rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere, even when they are not busy and the staff outnumbers the guests. This unfriendly and unprofessional attitude consistently given by the counter speaks volumes about the poor management and culture of this business. Derby locals, and visitors from McConnell AFB and Wichita, all deserve better. Note: my absolute final visit here happened to be when someone drove into the building. This was not any fault of the business, but the experience was still terrible prior to the accident due to such impolite service. Not surprisingly, the lack of leadership was on full display after the incident and luckily for this business, it was customers that handled the situation in the beginning.

We had to stop in to try the beyond orange chicken! It was really good. My whole family enjoyed it. So nice to have another quick vegan option around town. Employees here are always great and the restaurant is always clean.

All these losers complaining about service
. Like seriously if the service was bad who cares literally Chinese to go for most people. I’m sure those people complain at other restaurants when their water is too cold because they wanted ice. Regardless food is good, fast, and what it needs to be for a serviceable restaurant. I liked their lomein and so did my kid.

Five of us met for lunch & were shown to a table immediately. We placed our orders at the counter & the food came out quickly, hot & exactly as we ordered. Everything was delicious & the crab rangoon was some of the best I’ve had, plenty of tasty filling, hot crispy exterior & not greasy. A very good experience.

Hello Panda Expeess. We are not a big fan of panda express because of their oily nature in the food and also it is not that tasty or yummy at all but looks wise. It looks very classy and it looks like mouthwatering items. But we thought to give a try and we entered into this panda express , their ambience their place locality and the cleanliness is everything in shape, but I don’t see any more rush in the store. Having people or customers in the restaurant place a very major role it means people like your food if there is no one in the restaurant and if all the chairs are empty, it means people are diverting from your place. We tried to eat something called vegetarian fried rice 🍚, but unfortunately, they are not making any items. They are simply loading the items in the form of buffet and in the rice there is an egg so we end up not eating the fried rice. The only which item that we see here is — Chow noddles There is no salt at all, and even we requested them for salt 🧂 , but they didn’t offered. Well, it’s not their mistake because it’s their model or theme of cooking items in such a way so no negative vibes but I feel like if Indians are coming to eat then I wish they could re-create the food . And unfortunately, as for the panda express rules, they cannot redo the food. They have to follow some standard processes and showcase those items in the buffet. Feedback for restaurant — Make sure you make the food so yummy and soon we will try to come to eat your non vegetarian items. Thank you so much 😊 Cheers đŸ„‚ have a good one 1ïžâƒŁ

We have been watching this location while it was under construction. On 5/9/2024 we were on our way to another Panda Express location and noticed this new location was finally open. Of course we detoured quickly and happened to dine here on opening day. They had some dancing and music outside and warm friendly greetings as we approached the entry door. The service was great and our order was correct. The food was cooked well as it is in all of their locations. The seating was a little strange as there was limited seating for a private group of 2-4 people. However, we were pleased with everything and will return soon.
