This place honors its name. It’s very FAST, your order is ready and accurate within 10 minutes even on Friday nights and weekends. I am giving 3 stars because their fried rice is very bland, it’s more like white rice with minimal veggies, soy sauce, or meat. Their chicken and soups are good.

This is actually one of the first Chinese spots my friends took me to when I first moved to Maryland. It’s 100% comfort food, some menu items are hit or miss, but the egg drop soup, friend rice, and spring rolls are always on point. Definitely worth the $!

Dined in. Excellent food. Huge portions on entrees makes slightly higher price worth it. Soup bowls are less expensive and smaller than normal, so priced fairly. Excellent vegetable spring rolls. Great service. Quiet peaceful music playing in background. Very nice art decorating the restaurant.

I went on a Thursday where early dinner time was pretty empty. But I could tell from the won ton soup it was gonna be good. They even have sui Mai. The won ton soup was flavorful and they don’t skimp out on scallions either. The meat inside tasted like a soup dumpling to me and the noodles were soft. Each of those small cups were $2 so I recommend getting multiple. Their fried rice was nice as it had the egg and carrots and peas, all the good things. Wasn’t hard but I wouldn’t say it was fluffy either. Pan fried dumplings were crispy and good! Their dumpling sauce was also really good and made in-house! I wish that store brand sauce could be as good. Lo mien was good, noodles kinda tasted like San Antonio, TX’s version but without the grease and oil. Not sure if it was the dumpling sauce but there was a quick slight aftertaste. It was different than the noodles themselves but it didn’t make it unbearable. Service was great! I was the only one in there at that time but I think they balanced the right amount of checking up and the waiter was really polite, making the whole experience memorable!

Did takeout and would definitely say it’s not our favorite Chinese place we’ve ever been to. I’ll start with the positives and say the egg drop soup, gyozas, taro bubble tea, and the steamed veggies were great! But our actual main proteins (chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken) were tough, sauces were too mild to really distinguish a flavor, and way over done. We appreciate the good portion sizes, but would rather just have good tasting main dishes in smaller sizes…

So glad we found this place! Ordering online was easy. Quick service. The crab ragoons were delicious! Shrimp lo mein was also very good - had a TON of shrimp. Large portions. I ordered a large and it was enough to split with someone. Excited to come back and try more things! I’ve heard their drunken noodles are really good. Lots of parking available. Must try!

Our visit was exceptional. This was our 1st time here. Didn't know what to expect. I don't eat much Chinese but my husband does. When our server Angie came to the table she was so recommending. The appetizers came out quickly & so did our dinners. Hot, delicious, not salty, and presented as pretty as it was pictured. Great portions. Angie made our 1st experience excellent. Will definitely be back to try more. All thumbs up.

We did a catering order in the day of for 15. It was spectacular! Everything was perfect, we got everything we needed, from serving utensils to chopsticks and plates and fortune cookies. The food was abundant and delish!! Honest I think 20 or more could eat! Highly recommend.

In the course of two days, we came to this restaurant twice! The setting of Tea Horse is gorgeous, newly renovated and with creative integrations of Chinese culture and modernness. We ordered a sweet and spicy soup, and to start off, it was delicious. I’ve been to restaurants where the soup is too watery and has no flavor, but this soup is authentic and the tofu is soft and silky. Next, the spicy beef tripe also met our standards. it was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and chewy beef tripe. For veggies, we ordered stir fried green beans, and when I say that they are DELICIOUS, they really are. The toasted mustard stems and minced meat bring out so much flavor and the green beans themselves are extremely crunchy. Finally, the fried pork kidneys were here. Unexpectedly soft but crisp on the outside, the pork kidneys were simply amazing. Complemented with bok choy, wood ear mushrooms, and spicy sauce, the dish is scrumptious. And don’t be afraid: even though pork kidneys sounds scary, don’t worry, it’s so delicious and you’ll forget about what it is entirely.

Amazing. The crispy spicy shrimp was great, so crispy so tender and flavorful. The green beans, man that was the best execution I’ve ever seen. The pork bits and the dryness of the beans were flawless. Egg tomato was nice, really tender and balanced sweet flavor. The rice was super good, great texture and moist. the spicy beef soup was a bit too strong for me Cool vibes and decor. Nice lazy susan, and place mats. And the detail of the wooden chairs and the door ways and open windows, lovely. And the tea map was fun. Great atmosphere overall

The lunch portions are a great deal! You get a large amount of food for a decent price. The food is good. Not the greatest I have ever had but it is good. My biggest complaint would be the noise while waiting for my food. Two men who worked there were yelling at each other very loudly. As someone with PTSD , the yelling and loudness was very stressful. Next time I will definitely call ahead so I can get in and out quickly.

This is our go to Chinese takeout since we moved here in MD. The lady in front of the counter is nice and friendly taking orders. We usually order the General Tso's Chicken and we asked for extra spicy, Chicken Lo Mein, and Fried Chicken Wings.

The service was good, and the food exceeded our expectations. The General Tso's chicken was delicious, and the scallops were very good. The complimentary salad was also a nice touch and tasted great. Our only negative observation was the dried rice—it came molded in the shape of a plastic container, which made it look like it had been sitting pre-packaged for some time. Improving the presentation of the rice would make a big difference, especially since everything else was plated so well.

We’re new to the area from a very Asian neighborhood in Southern California and went to East Moon Asian Bistro for the first time after shopping in the area. We entered around dinner time and I saw the signage at the hostess desk about Chinese pork bun (something I loved while living in SoCal) so I was hoping the server would elaborate. Sadly, that didn’t happen and the lack of communication and customer service would be a constant reoccurrence this evening. I liked that being seated (in a booth for the two of us) was quick and that we were given salad with sesame dressing and a glass of water almost immediately. The ambience and decor was nice too. The restroom was also clean. I didn’t like sitting for nearly 20-30 minutes afterwards with no server returning for our order. When the server did come back around, she didn’t say hello, introduce herself, ask if this was our first time or recommend anything from the menu. She also rushed us by trying to take our menus before we had finished ordering. We ordered a Japanese beer, an East Moon alcoholic drink, udon noodles with beef (to share and for home), a happy family entree and a Thai lemongrass meat entree. We would’ve asked for a sushi or appetizer order to eat there and a pork bun order to go BUT our server didn’t seem to want to hear it. I tried to ask a question to signal for her to slow down and communicate but she whirled away without answering. She came back to deliver the drinks, then the food and once more at the end of the meal when she asked if we wanted more water when it would have been more appropriate to ask whether we wanted dessert, to-go boxes and the check. A check-up on water and the current food should have been conducted midway through the meal. Again, I would’ve liked to order pork buns to go but wasn’t given - again - the opportunity before our server was gone again without communicating. After ordering, I went to the restroom to wash up. I was pleased to find it was clean. Upon return to the table, I was also pleased to find these HUGE portions of food - and it was delicious! Overall, we’re getting closer to finding delicious Asian food here in Maryland that compares to my Chinese, Japanese and Korean community in Los Angeles, California but too bad service here was lackluster (long wait til ordering, no intro, no follow-up and rushed). The food was very good and given in generous portions but the dine-in service makes take-out seem like a blessing.

The teriyaki chicken was so good tender and moist. The Beijing beef was the perfect spicy level for me.

I was slightly early picking up my online order, was told it would be a two minute wait. I then patiently sit there for 20 minutes only to notice my order had been ready for atleast 15mins. The food was room temperature by the time I ended up getting home.

This place is small and no one else dined in when we were there, but the phone rang off the hook and the doorbell often sounding. The most significant detail I want to mention is the portion size. WOW! I’ve never gotten so much food for my money at a Chinese restaurant. The food is literally served in glass pie plates, to give you an idea of size. It was tasty, too! Many vegetarian options. Veggies were crisp and not overcooked too, which is another great plus!

Call around 8:45 pm to place an order for string beans and rice and I said that I wanted a small order. The person that I spoke with said that it was a lunch special only and she would give it to me. I said that okay I don’t want to place the order, it’s too much food. She said, this time I’ll give it to you, I said okay. I told her that I didn’t want eggs in my rice because I am vegan, she said okay. I arrived about 1 minute before closing to pick up my order but when I got home it was all rice and no string bings. I called the next day to let her know that I didn’t receive the string bings and it was only rice. She argued me down that I wanted all rice. I said to her, you can order small rice anytime it does have to be a lunch special which was the topic of our original discussion when I placed the order. She was so rude and over talking me until I told her that I would not be returning there to order any food. She said okay and hung up. Mind you I have been going there for at least 13 years but with her attitude I will not be returning. How you treat people makes a difference. She called me back to say , okay we can give you the string bings. I told her no, I will not be returning, period. We need to be careful how we treat people, especially customers. Social media is a powerful tool and once the word gets out you loose customers. This situation could have been handled better than she did so it’s their loss, not mine. I chose not to be disrespected!!!!!

We had a good dining experience here! The restaurant has a bright and clean atmosphere, and the servers were friendly. They quickly took care of any requests we had, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our group of six ordered Peking duck, dim sum, and sweet and sour chicken, and everything was delicious. The sweet and sour chicken, in particular, stood out—the batter was light and crispy, the chicken was perfectly sized, and the sauce had an incredible depth of flavor, better than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the duck soup that comes with the Peking duck—it had a strong duck aroma that might not be for everyone. Other than that, it was an amazing meal, and we had a great time! Would definitely come back.

If you’re searching for an ayce dim sum spot that is delivering all the hits and some… check out Peter Changs! The menu is extensive for an ayce menu and it does not disappoint! We ordered about 18 items and my favorite was the sad cold jelly, shrimp rolls, salt and pepper baby shrimp, sweet potato sesame buns and the grandma noodles. Amongst others but I will I was not a huge fan of the mala beef as the noodles were too soggy for me and the braised pork with rice as it was too sweet! The service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and prompt to clear the table and take the next round of orders. The servers were also very prompt in ensuring the dishes made it to the right table and they definitely had their system down! The restaurant got packed quickly! A lot of larger groups and families filled the place! They also have an outdoor bar seating area which would be amazing for nice weather!

I used to come here regularly when I lived in the immediate area about a decade ago. It’s definitely not the same restaurant as in its hay day, but it’s still very good and worth a visit if you are in the area. It’s comfort Chinese food with a few authentic dishes.

I’ve been coming to hunan my whole life. It was the place I recommened all the time. Well I haven’t been in a couple years and decided to order last night and the food was awful. The fried rice was the worst fried rice I’ve ever eaten and the sesame shrimp was so bland I couldn’t even eat it. There was zero flavor to the food, not even salt. I tried to season the food myself but ended up throwing away $35 worth of food and getting taco bell instead. This restaurant use to be amazing and the go to place but now I won’t be returning. There are much better chinese restaurants in the area.
