China Garden Restaurant
Customer service was unfriendly and rushing. There were only 2 customers in the restaurant. So it wasn't like they were busy. The place was extremely unorganized and unkept. The Crab Ragoons were undercooked. The House fried rice was extremely dry/old. The sweet and sour sauce had no flavor with a gelatin consistency. I had to practically beg for duck sauce, one packet at a time. I had a carry out order. If I had eaten in, I would have politely sent everything back to the kitchen and left.
This place is completely improved from the last time I went there, which was back in 2020. I would say their food is really great. I have not had better Chinese than this to be honest. I would highly recommend eating here. Their staff is not the nicest but also they could’ve just been having a stressful day. It’s the day before Thanksgiving so obviously it’s going to be stressful. just remember to treat people how you would like to be treated
First Wok
Bourbon chicken tasted old and smelled funny. I tried to eat some of it and I’m pretty sure I have food poisoning. Very disappointing because I was craving Chinese food. I can’t get the smell out of my car after 2 days. The bourbon chicken sauce spilled out the container. Never again.
Portions are huge and the food is cheap - lasts about a day and a half or so for 12 bucks. Foods nothing fancy but still pretty good if you're craving Chinese
China Garden Buffet
Have been going here for years. Its a nice and quiet place. the main waitress has been a joy to have every single time I go there. She is fast, efficient, and ensures everyone is openly and properly placed.
First off, this is a common visit for my family. We visit about once or twice a month. Enough so that the host has shared photos of his grandkids with me while cashing out. Fast forward to tonight, myself and 3 children. My son doesn't even eat but I'm still charged, and I don't complain about it. He wanted sushi but all of the sushi that they did have looked like it had been manhandled and when I inquired if they were going to refill the sushi area the host which has always been super super nice informed me that the sushi guy had already left for the day and this was around 6pm. It's whatever, at this point. I'll pay for his spot and suck it up and get him sushi elsewhere after we leave. We went up and got our food, it all seemed really old like it had been sitting out all day under the warmer. The food was so so, to the point I only got one plate and so did my girls minus getting some dessert. After receiving our check we went up to cash out and pay. Now keep in mind I've been there dozens of times, I normally tip around $5 but tonight the waitress literally did nothing. She served our drinks, got one single refill and sat us at our table. That's it. Not enough to really warrant a "tip" so as I was checking out she runs up to cash us out. She sees that I've crossed out the tip line....stops and says "no no you need to tip me" and points at the tip line. She thinks she is guaranteed a tip for doing little to absolutely nothing. This really annoyed me to the point I won't go there again as she felt entitled to this tip enough to call me out in a place where she stands around doing nothing, maybe rolling silverware and escorting people to their seats and occasionally refilling drinks. None of which in my opinion deserves a tip, then when I scratched the bill out I asked her to reprint my receipt which seemed like that was too much for her to comprehend, so she went and got the guy who is the host. I explained to him I needed a reprint of the receipt so the bank doesn't decline and I can fill out her most important tip. Then I proceeded to explain I won't be coming back after her rudely calling out the customer for some entitled tip she believes she deserves. I've overlooked the cleanliness of the restaurant over time because it's been a quaint little hole in the wall my family enjoyed that was semi close by and there weren't any other buffets within a 20-25 minute drive near me that I was/am aware of. I will find a new place to visit because after her stunt it's not worth returning to this mid level establishment on its way into bankruptcy. Keep in mind during this prime dinner time we were 1 of 2 patrons in the business. It's not like they were even slammed and she was running around busting her butt. She literally stood around on her phone, while wrapping silverware. To the host, I hope you have a conversation with her because she has zero customer service skills. She never seems like she is in a great mood. If she isn't happy with her job, find a new one...I get it, this is probably family owned but don't take it out on your customers or call out your regulars for you doing jack squat and not deserving the tip you think you're expected to get.
Jade Buffet
All of the food was fresh and hot. The Crab legs were empty the whole time, even though there was a big pan of melted butter. The server was very quick with drink refills and removing dirty dishes. The women's bathroom could use a bit of a remodel. We will be going back.
The food here really depends on what you choose in my opinion because everything I get is usually good and I have no issues there, I never eat in always carry out its much cheaper that way and I do agree that the price for eating in is high for the selection of food but my only complaint is just about every time I go to the buffet there is a gentleman not sure if he’s the owner always comes out the back and seems to follow me around the buffet like he’s watching to see if I am going to dine and dash lol not sure what his problem his and he gets kind of close making me feel uncomfortable I may give it another try but if this continues to happen I will write them off my list
Panda Express
Panda Express at 955 E. Kemper Rd in Springdale, OH, offers a satisfactory dining experience. The restaurant is well-staffed, with friendly employees who greet and serve customers efficiently. The menu features popular American-Chinese dishes, including their famous Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. While the food quality is consistent with the Panda Express brand.Overall, it’s a decent option for a quick meal.
That food is absolutely fckin bomb. Their orange chicken is so amazing, it’s different from any other orange chicken. The flavor and the chicken itself is just super super tasty. They have great workers, and they’re always very caring and thoughtful. The inside of their store is well decorated.
Panda Express
Panda Express is my go to place. Food is great, people are friendly, the price is right. No overcharge because pricing is getting out of hand.
If you're looking for cheap Asian food this is the place for you. I personally love the orange chicken, egg rolls and fried rice. The price is great and the quality is decent. I always order too much food so keep in mind the 2 entrees plus side is plenty of food. No real reason to get 3 entrees unless you want to try more items from the menu. I'll be back for sure.
Panda Express
I did something I try not to do - go into a restaurant right before they close. I was met with a warm hello & an offer to make me whatever I wanted fresh. Isabella was especially cordial and the manager, Owen, was attentive and helpful as he finished some end of day paperwork while still helping out on the front line. For a brand new establishment on Harrison Avenue in Dent, this place is getting it right. Please let the staff know that I appreciate their efforts.
Went in and got take out for dinner. Plated up our food and as my husband took a bite of his lomein there was a big piece of plastic (clock on photo to see it on the fork) that he pulled out of his mouth. Staff needs to be more thorough and careful when prepping food. Totally lost his appetite and very disappointed
Panda Express
I visit this Panda Express often, and it’s by far the best one I’ve been to! The customer service is top-notch, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The food is always fresh and hot, especially the orange chicken, which is my favorite. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean, and it shows. The manager on shift even checked on us to make sure we were happy, which was a nice touch. If you’re looking for great food and great service, this is the Panda Express to visit!
I can't stand cheap restaurants! I ordered the sweet chilli chicken and received a bunch of peppers, onions, pineapples and SMALL bits of chicken. When I returned, after looking at my food in the car, to ask about the portion size of chicken I was told because it comes with vegetables there isn't a lot of chicken in serving such as how much you would receive with the orange chicken which do not have veggies (the explanation given when I said other patrons received generous protein portion servings). Ok, then explain why the pieces for those other non-vegetable proteins such as orange chicken have larger sized chicken pieces? I will not be returning and I already informed my son not to ask me to go there again, on my dime, either. The young lady who served me informed me if I received 7 pieces of chicken and I could purchase more for $1.50. Why would I purchase more onions, peppers, and pineapples!? I mean that's really what it consists of. Also the veggies you're seeing were an additional entree choice. And while polite, the young lady chose to use her marker to point out the seven pieces of chicken as she talked very close to my food. Smh!
Dragon City
if i could give zero stars i would but they get 1 because my fortune cookie said something nice, this place is either hit or miss, today was a miss, which is happening more frequently, its like they dont care about the quality of the food anymore, all they see is money an we surely keep spending there, after today ill never go back, my egg rolls were not only burned but u can tell that they had been sitting, for a while, probably most of the day, if not yesterdays egg rolls, that they cooked again to appear fresh, an they chose to serve that as food, guess my money wasnt good enough for fresh egg rolls, save ur money and taste buds 🤢
Place is going down hill last few months. Combination platter always comes in big rectangle and rice in a box. Now they cheating people and putting rice in it too. This is just paying double for a lunch special. . It's never been this way. Food is also going down hill . Better off finding a new place Ive been going here for years but never ever again. I don't know what's changed here I'm last 6-8 months new people working it must of been sold or passed on . It's definitely not worth the trip now
Sichuan Chinese Restaurant
Tried Sichuan for the first time tonight and thoroughly enjoyed! Very authentic Chinese food with a wide variety menu. Everything is cooked fresh and delicious! Staff very friendly and kind. Can't wait to come back to try more of the menu items. Would highly recommend for authentic Chinese food!
First time coming here and I am very impressed. I had the mapo tofu and fried sweet pumpkin dumplings. Excellent dishes and very authentic. My biggest regret is not coming here sooner. Since I don’t live too far from here. Their menu ranges from Chinese American dishes to authentic traditional Chinese dishes. The lady that served me is really nice and I will definitely be back one of these days!
Dragon City Restaurant
I’m going to be completely honest I’ll never come to this Dragon city again. It’s very disappointing to have your mouth fixed for this type of food and to get all the way home to a meal that was hot and ready but ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING to eat! The meal was not edible whatsoever….. PLEASE READ all these reviews before you go to this restaurant and waste your time and money for an absolute disappointment! The food made it back into the bag it was put in!
This might be the worst Chinese we've ever had. They forgot to put the sauce in the bag for sweet-sour chicken. The egg rolls were greasy. The hot and sour soup tastes like some sort of bbq beef soup, and the sczechuan shrimp looks and tastes like it's made with a BBQ/ tomato sauce base. IT IS HORRIBLE. We made 2 trips to dragon city tonight, the 1st and the last.
China Food
I recently visited this cozy, nice little spot. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right amount of lighting to create a nice ambiance. One of the highlights of the evening was the incredibly affordable prices for alcoholic beverages. As for the food, it was decent overall, with a few standout dishes. I particularly enjoyed the eggplant, which was cooked to perfection. However, I was a bit disappointed with the beef tendon, which was a bit too hard for my liking. I was also expecting an Asian-style hamburger made with steamed bread, but it was instead served on a regular hamburger bun from Walmart. And unfortunately spicy cucumber was out of stock. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and I would recommend this spot to others looking for a cozy place with plenty of parking and affordable drinks
Good food. Great taste. Very friendly service! Def a place you will want to try. Tastes very home made. The staff treats you like their own. They always make sure I’m taken care of. Sometimes when I order egg drop soup to go after ordering my meal, they’ll give it to me for free! Which shows how much they care and that’s great customer service. I will be coming back mainly because I also crave their chicken soup!
