Hongkong Chinese Restaurant
Whoever made this Singapore Mei fun needs a raise, it's good other times too but time it was better. Nor too spicy, the noodles were perfectly cooked. This is my default Chinese food place in town.
The texture of the bean curd was phenomenal. Good service, plenty of seating. Crunchy veggies. I recommend
China King II
Sincerely the best Chinese food in the city. The food is always hot, and served in heaping portions, enough for lunch tomorrow! And the crab Rangoons are to die for š
Very unique spins on ātraditional Chinese foodā that Iām accustomed to, but the yellow fried rice isnāt bad but lacking in vegetables. The kung pao chicken pictured below had wayyy too many vegetables and not enough chicken and not enough chilies. š¶ļø Had slight spice but didnāt have that taste Iām used to. Again thatās me but also the sweet and sour chicken being separate was interesting almost like tempura chicken, looked like chicken nugget in the inside too not real white meat
China Garden Restaurant
We were in Indianapolis for a week and I was craving Chinese food. China Garden came to the rescue. It was a solid meal. Yes, it's not as authentic as I'm used to, but it did the trick. We ordered hot & sour soup, General Tso's Chicken, and their Szechuan Combination. The two ladies managing the front of the house were extremely nice and friendly.
Breading is soggy, and the chicken tastes purely of onion. One of the worst sesame chickens I've had. I ordered two large white rices and they just have me one giant tub instead of two seperate orders. Bad and lazy.
El Chino Mex
Been a customer since 2012 when they were at West Washington location. Never disappoints! Great Mexican/Chinese food combination. Combination fried rice with a side of crab ragoons is my go to. Can't forget that horchata!
I usually donāt leave reviews if I do itās because it was sooooo good theyāre beef Lomein and steak tacos and theyāre green and red salsa is Marbella was my waitress try them !
China Wok
Pretty bland for the most part. It's been about a year since I had last eaten here and it was really good then, the General Tso's was actually flavorful and a bit spicy, now it's just bland. The crab Rangoon doesn't even have a hint of crab flavor.
Best egg drop soup I have been able to find!! Though the general sous seemed more like sweet and sour chicken, not alot of spice.
China Dragon
Absolutely the best Chinese takeout ever! We realized on Christmas Eve we would be hosting 8 people on Christmas for dinner and needed a backup plan quickly. We have never tried China Dragon before but we will absolutely come back. We used the online ordering and had it scheduled to be ready at a certain time in advance. The ordering process was so easy, it was ready just as expected and the food was delicious. We had Orange Chicken, General Tso's, Szechuan Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Veggie and Pork Rolls, Crab Rangoon and white and fried rice. The Szechuan Chicken and Fried Rice were my favorites but it was all delicious! We had three full containers of leftovers because the portions are so large. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again!
Great food, fast service, really flavorful. Would definitely recommend and return!
Lotus Garden Of Greenwood
I had a pick between this place and the buffet. I chose here because of the lunch items they obviously have on no buffets in the whole country like Shrimp and Lobster Sauce, and Kung Po is more rare on a buffet. They give decent sized shrimps that come in I think 12. A lot of garlic and very good. I prefer dark lobster sauce but for the light, this was a real good one. This is a classic more authentic style restaurant that I do recommend if you're in the area. Real good hot egg rolls too.
Food quality is fresh and consistently delicious. Crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, General Tsoās chicken are all some of the best on the south side. And their eggrolls are out of this world. Weāve loved Lotus for decades since they were in their OG spot in Greenwood, and they are still our number one in their new location.
China Garden Restaurant
Got beef and broccoli here, but this was definitely not beef. It smelled like pork and the meat was. Very light in color. Iām 99% sure this was pork
Not our favorite. Crab ration had only cream cheese in them. The sauce on my granddaughter General Tsoās was bitter and really thick almost like syrup. Restaurant could use some deep cleaning also
Taste of China
Don't let the exterior fool you. Food is hot and fresh with a large portions. Service is friendly. I've never had a bad meal from here and my order is always right. For fast food Chinese it's excellent. It's my go to spot in the area.
Awesome place. The woman working there was incredibly nice and juggled cooking, answering phone, and taking orders perfectly. I was almost sad to finish my plate. Might become my Friday night regular.
Wonder Wu
Read reviews and went off of you alls opinions and Iām dissatisfied. The general tso chicken tastes like orange chicken and ginger. In fact you can tell they use the sweet and sour chicken as general tso. Never tasted General TSO that off in flavor. It wasnāt good to me. Rice seemed like it had been sitting all day. My wife said her chicken lo mein was pretty good however.
Fast service with amazing food. Was craving it last time and I had to go get some dumplings and pork lo mein. It was delicious. There is a lot of Chinese food place but this place is definitely a great one.
Imperial palace
We were very happy to find a halal chinese restaurant in Indianapolis. Although they serve pork, their chicken and beef are halal. The beef dishes are highly recommended, specially the beef fried rice. During lunch hour they also provide a very affordable set meal which contains rice, spring roll and some entree. The owner/host is also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend anyone trying authentic Chinese food while also maintaining halal.
Stopped in randomly for carry out. The egg rolls, Kung pao chicken, and moo shu pork were all fresh and delicious. I am glad to find this place. I liked the quality very much. Can't wait to get again!
Chen's Wok
Itās a perfect spot for quick Chinese food pickup. Good food and good service. I recommend takeout only.
My favorite place to get Chinese takeout! Been going for years. The owner is very nice and the portion sizes for the Double Delight, along with the other menu options and taste, are perfect. Definitely recommend to family and/or friends for a quick grab and go bite! Any 1 star reviews on here (if there are any) should not be trusted by the certified grouch that wrote them. Get a hobby.
