Fantastic Chinese food! Perfect portions, perfectly flavored. I highly recommend the “Buddhist Delight” (tofu, vegetables, and rice)—I have had this dish many times at a variety of Chinese restaurants, and No. 1 China Garden consistently makes some of the very best! Their Singapore Mei Fun is also excellent, and so is their Kung Pao Chicken. Sometimes this restaurant is “take out only,” but most of the time you can dine in if you prefer. The atmosphere is minimalist and perhaps a bit mismatched, but clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant—be sure to try it if you are in the area!!

We ordered our food then drove around for about an hour and the food was still hot and fresh when we got home. It's the only Chinese place we can eat without getting sick. Highly recommend if in the area. Everything is made to order

A really great Korean restaurant serving fast street food. We came for a quick bite around early dinner time (4pmish) and really enjoyed the food. The service was fast and great and they came to check on us a few times. They have a small menu which is nice as it seems to focus on quality. Everything seemed to be made to order and was both hot and fresh. We had the fries, a chicken sandwich and some kind of cheese that resembled a corn dog. Everything was dynamite, absolutely amazing. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

My first time eating here was recommended by a friend. The staff is very friendly, the music is great, the store is incredibly clean, and the food is quite good. I will definitely have to check it out again next time I visit!

Very good and quick service delicious and affordable! The only dish I am not crazy about is the Thai fried rice. It’s mushy and not really “fried rice”. Other than that every other dish I had is good.

The staff was friendly, cheerful and patient. The food was great. I enjoyed the mango curry, but we all tried all the things ordered. We probably should have asked for extra plates so we could share more easily - next time! I appreciated that they asked for the preferred spice level for each item ordered.

Ordered 3 combination plates, none of which came with the egg roll nor the vegetable fried rice. My chicken was also severely undercooked. I called back once I got home to get a refund, and the woman who picked up the phone said they don’t do refunds and proceeded to burp in the phone. She told me that I did not order the combination plates, and tried to tell me I ordered the Asian dishes; yet, the prices I paid for the meals were the prices for the combination plates. This place is classless and has outrageous prices. Never coming back, do not order from here.

I’m an Agebt across the street at Coldwell and China King is a staple for our quick lunches. They are so friendly and a wonderful family owned business that is a staple here in Troy! Attached is a photo of my favorite pick!

I've been ordering food from here for years. Even though there's a revolving door of staff, the building itself looks like it's falling apart and I'd heard rumors about roaches. I still stuck by them bc we always enjoyed our food. But the last several times I've ordered, it's been borderline gross. Food burnt or undercooked. The same meal never tastes the same twice. This time? Found a literal dead roach in my food. It was like pulling teeth to get a refund and they only refunded the meal with the bug after I brought it up to show them. Unfortunately, this is the end for us and China King.

Ordered General Tso Chicken. It was very undercooked. Parts of the chicken meat were still raw. I tried calling and nobody answered phone. Hopefully it didn't get placed out on the buffet.

We eat here a lot! Always friendly wait staff and management. We decided to go on a Christmas Day this year to make things easier at home- it was packed! All the food stayed fresh and the wait staff was exceptional! I didn't catch our girl's name but she was awesome! They allowed us to sit at two booths with our group of 8 since everywhere else was taken so we really gave her two new tables! She was very happy and fast. I'm a pescatarian and can always find something to eat. Parking is always easy to-do even today when it was super busy. :)

I went with some lighter fare today. traditional appetizers of soup, egg roll, and Rangoon. I got an iced tea and a green tea shot. iced tea with an oolong type flavor is different, but it's great. I didn't add any sugar and it was still fine. the duck sauce for the egg roll seems to be made in house it seems like that was good. the won ton soup was good. the Rangoon are nice, but I'm getting full. I had a feeling I might not eat heavy which was why I went with these instead a meal .they specialize in upscale sushi here, but I don't eat sushi, spicy food, or anything with onions. edit: I've been vibing here at the bar for a bit talking to people. this has been nice. this is a coffee Gelato. mmm. I need to come here and try more. I'm enjoying hanging at the bat

The food here was SO disgusting and inedible. Pictured is chicken lo mein and as you can see the chicken is pale white and looks like it’s been boiled. Both that dish and the General Tso’s were so bland and tasteless and the egg rolls tasted as grey as they look. Nothing is seasoned, just swimming in water and soggy. We also found hair in the chicken as seen in the close up picture. Idk why this place has such good reviews bc what we received truly horrified us. We will be doing a charge back on the credit card for this purchase as we literally could not eat it and threw it all out.

First time here, but I was hopeful after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The best Chinese takeout we've had.

Beef and broccoli was delicious but the crab rangoon was the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. So don’t order those because you barely get any food.

Pretty good stuff here to eat. Very busy on weekends, had to grab a bar spot so we could get food right away. Cocktails are decent. Beef Broccoli was just OK. Cauliflower appetizer was really good, dang! Nice service.

My friends and I started off with lettuce wraps, spring rolls, and the crispy green beans. All three came out at different times but the appetizers were each fine. The green beans were by far the best and I highly recommend those! The main course was also fine as well. I had Chang's spicy chicken, which is actually not that spicy but more sweet, and my friends had the Mongolian beef. They are huge fans and enjoyed their meals. For me PF Chang's was good Chinese but nothing more than chain Chinese food: not bad but nothing out of this world. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was very good!

They completely messed my order up would and they not fix it. They gave me somebody else's order. I wouldn't take it back, wouldn't fix it? Would not give me new food even after I paid for it. The food is completely terrible.My wife got food poisoning, was thrown out with diarrhea 3 days. Absolutely, horrible.I highly recommend everyone in the whole town of troy.Stay away from this place.

Orange Chicken: too much oil/msg Fried Rice: Cheap rice looks and tastes nasty Cheese/Crab things: Let's just say that they are greasy and that you couldn't even taste the crab meat. If you tell people that you actually like the food that these people serve, you haven't ever had good Chinese food.

I used to eat here a lot, back when they had different owners. I have given this place chance after chance. I will go a year or two without trying their food (if I want Chinese food I normally drive 15 minutes to Biscoe and eat at China 8). But I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, since someone wrote a review saying 'they have new owners' 4 months ago.... They DO NOT HAVE NEW OWNERS. The same two people have been running this store for the past 10+ years. My most recent experience was with their buffet and the food was room temperature plus most of the food was gone and they never replenished it while I was in there (they were not busy at all and only had one other customer). The egg rolls were GREY on the inside and the crab rangoons have NO filling. (this has been the case every time I have eaten there over the past several years). The Teriyaki chicken was decent, but that's the only thing I enjoyed about my experience.

We order a take-out dinner from China King about once or twice every month. Service is always good and the food is always piping hot. The owners work hard and the food always tastes good.
