SHAHIRIZADA RESTAURANT
This restaurant is a true delight! The food is absolutely delicious, always fresh, and bursting with authentic flavors. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The cleanliness and overall ambiance make it a comfortable and inviting place to dine. I highly recommend this spot for family gatherings or a meal with friends. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with Uzbek cuisine, this is the place to go!
This is a smart casual spot with a semi-formal vibe—think casual dining, but the waitstaff is dressed up in all black with traditional Uzbek hats, adding a nice cultural touch. It’s an Uzbek restaurant, and their hospitality and traditional dishes really shine. I started with the Samsa, which is a bit like a samosa but with a minced meat patty inside—flaky, flavorful, and a solid appetizer. The Achichuk salad (fresh tomatoes, onions, and herbs) is a great side dish, especially if you’re ordering the Wedding Plov, their standout traditional rice dish. Pro tip: you can also add shish kebabs to any dish for some extra protein. Their menu has both hot and cold dishes, but don’t skip the tea experience! They serve a unique mix of half black tea and half green tea, which pairs perfectly with their warm, fluffy bread. Just ask your waiter for guidance—they’re super attentive and happy to help. Also, make sure to request honey, sugar, and lemon for the tea—it takes it to another level. You’ll notice tea leaves settling at the bottom of the cup, but don’t worry; it’s intentional and won’t interfere with your sips. The atmosphere is lively, with Uzbek music playing in the background and cozy decorative lighting along the walls. The staff is incredibly respectful—every interaction feels thoughtful, and they even place their hand over their heart when responding to requests, which is a lovely cultural gesture. To wrap it all up, you have to try the honey cake for dessert. It’s their specialty, and trust me, it’s a perfect, sweet way to end the meal. Overall, this is a great spot for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a little cultural immersion. Highly recommend!
Lucky Bamboo Asian Cuisine
My girlfriend picked up takeout and I was super excited to try this place out considering my girlfriend has had it before and said how good they were… NOPE!! what is my pad Thai I’m eating mushy noodles with absolutely no sauce chicken taste like it’s not cooked either. Extremely disappointed in this restaurant mad disgusting and I feel sick from eating 2 bites.
Food was subpar at best, just edible. Found a shrimp in my veggie egg-roll and the Mongolian beef was mostly onions. After two servings, there’s barely any beef left over. The taste was bland on all dishes ordered. Will not be not going back. I ordered takeout and picked it up, the dining room was nice and there are small items to buy like jewelry and trinkets.
Tokyo Steakhouse II
It was my first visit, others had been there a few times. Location is nice, plenty of space for Parking and handicapped parking and access. Lobby shows a neat city like roof and sky. Very cool. The pictures everywhere are neat to look at, but not neat anymore. Too many places and creates a mess. Be aware, they will not seat you until your whole party is there. We waited for our party, our fault 20 minutes, once seated, it to another 15 minutes to get any service, but to actually get our wrongs another 20 minutes. It was an actual hour to get the Hibachi chef Infront of us. Once there he was fun, funny and authentic. Food was good and fresh. Just a little salty for my taste( from the soy sauce) overall the food taste and texture was good. The portions are plenty and enough to take home. Steak is cook to choice, rice is by choice and many sides to pick from. They do ask for tip, but parties of 2 or more an 18% is already added. Hope to return and try more saki and other dishes vs just steak.
What a fun Hibachi joint. Our chef was amazing. Kept everyone entertained including the steady stream of Sake! Food was delicious and the portions are HUGE. You will have leftovers for days. We will be back! They do take reservations.
Panda Express
The workers are very polite; they don't give samples anymore, but we figured something out. The only weird thing is that some people get a mound of food, and others don't get nearly as much. I'm not sure how they decide how much food to give. I had two orders, and one, which was for my son, was overflowing, but mine wasn't nearly as much. But the food is good. I won't order the black Angus steak anymore, as you get more mushrooms than steak.
Food was cold when I arrived home which is 5 minutes away. Ordered chicken and mushrooms and there were only 3 mushrooms. Also, girl at drive thru window gave my food to the car in front of me before realizing it wasn't theirs. Go to Asian Express by Target for much better food and service.
Yen Ching Chinese Carry Out
We ordered Door Dash from here tonight. We were missing an item. When we contacted Door Dash they said they reviewed the claim and nothing could be done. It was an order over $100 and they refused to refund a missing $12 item. The egg rolls were good, the other food was not and I have a teenager without a dinner. Door Dash says they contacted the restaurant and they claim the item was delivered. We will not order from here again.
I ordered sweet and sour pork and I was disappointed in the fact that there were no pineapple chunks or green pepper or tomatoes it was just plain sweet and sour sauce. I also ordered hot and sour soup and again disappointed because they didn't have any Chinese pickles in the soup like most other Chinese restaurants. I was also disappointed when I asked for extra sweet and sour packets the guy behind the counter said he couldn't give extra because he would be in trouble by the owner and would have to charge me extra. I do not recommend this restaurant...
Great Wall of China
The beef and broccoli tasted like no other beef and broccoli I've had before. It tasted like it was grilled/bbq'd and it was so good
The restaurant is very home style. All the servers and the owner are like family :) I had beef chow fun and chicken fried rice. Both of them are delicious!
Taste of China
I ordered for shrimp fried rice, but I was not giving exactly what I ordered. Some type of plants I don’t know about was added on my menu without my permission. This made the food tasteless in my mouth. I had to take all of it out all before trying to eat the rice. Please next time only serve what you customers want, especially take aways. Thank you
Best family own restaurant, look at that picture that shrimp 🍤 is a good piece. Some other restaurant give you chop item.. not this one. Ooh everything they add to the rice looks fresh..😋 😋 😋
Xi’an Cuisine
This Xi’an cuisine is much better than the ones on downtown area. The food is authentic. We ordered lamb skewers which is super tender. The cold chicken dish is perfect in flavor, it has a little bit sour and spicy taste in it. The Bianbian noodle is the best of all dishes, it has three different sauce in it, one is tomato eggs, one is minced meat and another is stewed beef, with hand made thick noodles, it is just perfect combination.
This place is always great, especially if you love spicy. Their main menu and specials are really good, but they also have lunch specials if you’re looking for some more standard American Chinese food. Their mapo tofu fish is always a highlight!
Bao Chinese Gourmet
The garlic sauce and veggies were really delicious 😋. The rice was a little too starchy, like it wasn't washed and was a little dry for this type of food. The boba could be more slushy, it's a nit watery but the flavor is very good and the boba is fresh.
I ordered online and process was easy and my food was ready in time. Staff very friendly and cheerful. Food was great , first time and will be back again soon.
Silver Lake Chinese Restaurant
We walked in, and our waitress was sitting at a big round table watching TV channel surfing. The food was decent. The service wasn't the greatest. The Asian(same woman) waitress gave me a hard time about asking for a refill on my iced tea! Seriously, this kind of service is why restaurants go out of business. i will never go back very rude
Overall we enjoy this restaurant. Decent food in the area that we have tried so far. But be warned on placing an order after a major holiday. Today is Black Friday and the wait was insane. We placed our order and were told a 25min wait. Got to the place to pick up 30mins after that phone call and waited an additional 53mins. After all that, got the food home and was given the wrong order. Ugh. We were offered a credit or to remake the food so that was nice. Just be prepared or plan ahead on your more busy weekends.
China House
BEFORE ORDERING FROM HERE READ THIS: Couple things to mention. #1: Called to place an order at 11:45pm and got off the phone at 11:47pm. Was told 15min for food to be ready. (I always give 5min extra) @12:06 I get a call saying "your food has been ready for a while. Where are you?" AS I'M PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT. This confused me because it's only 4 min past "agreed" time. As I walk in 2 tables are busy and my food is staying on the counter like it just came out as he called me. #2 FOOD QUALITY: food was sooooo poor I wouldn't feed it to my dog. First of rice was clearly DAYS OLD. Fried rice meat was super dry, flavorless and chewy. General tsao was an abomination. BURNT chicken dosed in sauce. Chop suey gravey is just water. (SEE PHOTOS). When I went back, I told them to try the food and see if they would pay $24 for it. #3 PORTION SIZE/COST. Are yall serious 5 sweet sour chicken pieces and 4 chop suey chicken for $15? Highway robbery on Naperville folks. Every other review on here says the same things. #4 inflated ratings: if you look closely some reviews on here are fake and the accounts are not real. There has been remarks of owner giving discounts on good google reviews. Avoid this place at all costs!
Consistently great Chinese food! We love that this place has been local family owned and operated for decades. They know regular customers by name and if they have a moment, will stop to chat with you and catch up on things. We usually get food for take out but they do have a small, modest, and functional dining area.
East China Inn
Unfortunately, this restaurant isn’t what it used to be. We used to go to East China Inn either at this location or the one in Batavia and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, now the food is just OK. Very little people ….we decided on the sweet-and-sour chicken lunch special, this includes the chicken, white rice, and soup. It was one dollar extra for the eggroll, but I never even got it. The fried rice was also just OK.
The food is good and the service is what should be expected. Issue is that it is way overpriced. Got the General Tao Combination for $14. The portion size was TINY. Looks more like a kids portion. Good taste though.
