SHAHIRIZADA RESTAURANT
This restaurant is a true delight! The food is absolutely delicious, always fresh, and bursting with authentic flavors. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The cleanliness and overall ambiance make it a comfortable and inviting place to dine. I highly recommend this spot for family gatherings or a meal with friends. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with Uzbek cuisine, this is the place to go!
This is a smart casual spot with a semi-formal vibe—think casual dining, but the waitstaff is dressed up in all black with traditional Uzbek hats, adding a nice cultural touch. It’s an Uzbek restaurant, and their hospitality and traditional dishes really shine. I started with the Samsa, which is a bit like a samosa but with a minced meat patty inside—flaky, flavorful, and a solid appetizer. The Achichuk salad (fresh tomatoes, onions, and herbs) is a great side dish, especially if you’re ordering the Wedding Plov, their standout traditional rice dish. Pro tip: you can also add shish kebabs to any dish for some extra protein. Their menu has both hot and cold dishes, but don’t skip the tea experience! They serve a unique mix of half black tea and half green tea, which pairs perfectly with their warm, fluffy bread. Just ask your waiter for guidance—they’re super attentive and happy to help. Also, make sure to request honey, sugar, and lemon for the tea—it takes it to another level. You’ll notice tea leaves settling at the bottom of the cup, but don’t worry; it’s intentional and won’t interfere with your sips. The atmosphere is lively, with Uzbek music playing in the background and cozy decorative lighting along the walls. The staff is incredibly respectful—every interaction feels thoughtful, and they even place their hand over their heart when responding to requests, which is a lovely cultural gesture. To wrap it all up, you have to try the honey cake for dessert. It’s their specialty, and trust me, it’s a perfect, sweet way to end the meal. Overall, this is a great spot for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a little cultural immersion. Highly recommend!
Golconda Indian Restaurant & Banquets
We recently celebrated our daughter’s birthday party in Golconda banquets, Mr. Dayakar helped us a lot to make it a grand success, he fulfilled every promise he made to us. We also appreciate all the staff who went above and beyond to make our event colorful. We requested for vegetarian food, it was awesome. We strongly recommend everyone to host events in Golconda banquets.
We went for the lunch buffet on Sunday, it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The staff were so nice and checked on us to make sure our experience was going well. We will be back!
Shimla Peppers
We came here for lunch. Decorations and atmosphere is nice, maybe just a little bit too much. Our server was quite young boy who was really shy and quite-spoken. It was hard to understand him at moments, but exept for that he was really good. For drinks we ordered: Masala tea which was a bit too sweet 8/10 Mango lassi which was way too sweet and with no trace of mango 4/10 For appetizer we got Samosas 8/10 For mains we got: North Indian Thali which was really good and also a great way to sample 3 different curries 9/10 Paneer tikka masala also great (maybe it should come with a little bit smaller pieces) 9/10 Bhindi Masala - this was great 10/10 All in all, it is a great restaurant to visit, especialy for vegetarians as it is all vegetarian cuisine. But even if you are not, this place will not disappoint with its dishes.
This place is located off the main road in a secluded small plaza, but has the best Thali I have ever had an any Indian restaurant. Visited during lunch on a Thursday. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to receive the Thali but it was well presented and had many small servings of numerous items - See review photos for an idea of the item selection in the Thali. Unfortunately, the buffet which we came to have is only available on Saturdays, however, the Thali is top notch and recommended to anyone visiting this restaurant.
ZUKA SUSHI & HIBACHI GRILL
Loved their lunch sets - both the tempura and salmon sushi were great. Fried rice was bomb. Also great value on the set meals.. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu. They also gave us a high chair for our child. Great service!
Delicious hibachi and great experience. We went to Zuka sushi for dinner on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but we were seated fairly quickly since we had a reservation. Staff was friendly and chef did a great job! Service felt a bit rushed but I get it. They have to keep tables moving on weekend.
Shogun Japanese Steakhouse Naperville
My family of 6 went impromptu as my sister recommended it. The drinks were horrible. The sprite tasted like the fountain needed to be cleaned. The chef was okay however, it wasn't much of a show, Unlike other Hibachi places I've been to. Also, they do not include "fried Rice" with the meal, it is literally $3 extra per person. This is the FIRST time I have ever had to pay for fried rice separately when the part of the reason most eat hibachi is because of the fried rice. Total Rip off and def not worth $245. We could've went to a 5 star restaurant for that amount. Service from the waiter was also horrible. Sorry Sho Gun, do better.
What's not to love? A small restaurant, but big on food, fun, and family. Been coming to Shogun for many years whether just because or to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The staff are always friendly regardless if there are a few patrons or a full house. The chefs are great at entertaining the guests and keeping conversation and fun going! The food is phenomenal with many options. Always get extra noodles, you won't regret it. If you're up for it, try the egg yolk and garlic, again I don't think you'll regret it. Oh, and order a sake bomb... 😝 We always go home with left overs and full, happy bellies. We hope to keep coming back for many years to come. By the looks of all the pictures on the wall from celebrations of years past, I don't think they will be going anywhere any time soon... And if they do, Andy, I know where to find you 😉
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
Every visit here is wonderful. The service is quick and friendly, the menu offers a great variety, and the food is quite tasty. The prices are also very reasonable. Another important aspect is that there are no unpleasant odors in this place, which is very important to us. They have an excellent kids’ menu and a welcoming attitude towards young guests. We are consistently satisfied with this particular location and always look forward to coming back. I also appreciate the convenience of having a payment terminal at each table, so there’s no need to wait. It’s a great feature that I really like.
The atmosphere was pleasing, Our Waiter Lennon was more than kind and thoughtful Food arrived on the table fresh and delicious, each table in the restaurant was clean highly recommend this restaurant to dine with the whole family and friends. Every moment counts.☺️ "Perfect,Perfect"
45 Degree Tea, Ramen, Rice
I went here specifically for the bubble tea. I'm so glad I did. The size was fantastic and it was very good. I ordered the mango milk tea with mango popping bubbles! Great combination! My intentions were to go back before I left to try the food but didn't get the chance to. If I'm back in that area, I will definitely return!
Our first time here on Friday evening and it was really packed. We barely got a table. The hell ramen highest spicy was good and pretty spicy. The black garlic ramen was really good if you like garlic ramen. The roasted oolong boba was really good too. A side note, when you leave the restaurant, your clothes will smell like food. A good place to go after movies or a date.
KYO RAMEN & BOBA TEA
Customer service was excellent. service was great 👍 dine in for lunch. Great portions of ramen noodles 🍜 definitely check this restaurant. Enjoy
The food was excellent, and prices reasonable. Portion size is quite large. I was unable to finish my meal. I was unfamiliar with the tea selection they offered, and when I ask for a suggestion they did not hesitate with a very delicious drink option! I will definitely be returning.
Thai Medallion Restaurant
Ordered Pad See Ew, Thai basil, Tom Yum, and Crying Tiger. The food was flavorful, but the portions were small for the price point. Owner (who brought out the food was nice though).
I've been eating here for years and I recommend it to everyone! Everything I've tried here is amazing, especially the Tom Yum Soup with Chicken and the Pad See Ew Noodles (see pic). They make it exactly how you want from not spicy to your mouth is on fire spicy! Definitely a must try!
Jibek Jolu
Very cool place always fresh and delicious food, not only the food is delicious and good friendly staff, always want to come back here to shop. This is not the first time I have bought from them and I always get a great deal. Thank you to the staff for your efforts and your hard work
Best place to visit for baked goods inspired by middle eastern countries. They have a variety of baked goods and it’s always fresh.
MO TEA AND BANH MI
I visited Mo Tea & Banh Mi with a friend for a casual coloring date, and the experience had its highs and lows. First, the atmosphere and decor are amazing: cozy and vibrant. The booths were super comfortable. Their menu is large and totally customizable. For drinks, I had the Vietnamese iced coffee, and my friend tried the matcha milk tea. Both were delicious ◡̈ 💕 For food, we ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken Banh Mi and the Grilled Pork Banh Mi. Both sandwiches were flavorful and generously portioned. The seasoned fries were also delicious. However, I made the mistake of ordering my sandwich extra spicy. Realizing it was too much for me, I kindly asked the cashier for a side of mayo, offering to pay for it. The cashier was polite and went to ask the lady in the back about my request. To my surprise, the lady, who I believe is the owner, gave me a very tiny portion—about a teaspoon 💀💀 in a small cup (2oz cup)—for free. (I wish I had a picture) While I appreciated the gesture, it felt a bit stingy given the context: we spent over $35 on our order, and I had already said I was willing to pay. I wasn’t expecting a large portion, but something a bit more generous or at least a clearer refusal would have been better. 😿 One other thing to note: they were blasting Latin music, reggaeton and corridos tumbados. 😭 mind you Spanish is my first language I and usually enjoy this kind of music, but I don't think they realize how explicit some of the songs were. 😭😭 It felt a bit out of place, just funny and awkward at the same time. Overall, the food and drinks were great, but the service and ambiance could use some fine-tuning. I'd definitely come back ✌🏻😼
Food/Boba is exceptional. I have tried all of the Banh Mi options and grilled pork was my favorite. My husband loves the crispy chicken. The flavors were great. Nothing compares in my opinion in the area to the unique food options they provide along with the great Boba tea selection. The smoothies/ teas have endless combination options and customized just the way you want. The service is always friendly and we never have a long wait. This is also a kid friendly spot with a couple arcade and board games. The kids love the waffles and smoothies as well. Also this is a great late night spot, as their hours are longer on the weekends where other places close earlier. The atmosphere is a chill vibe and music matches the mood for sure. All around great Vietnamese quick bite/drink options for any time of day. This place is easily our #1 food/boba spot around. Just go to Mo Tea, you won't be disappointed.
Kabab King Grill Naperville Fine Dining
I decided to try this place out for dinner on a Friday night. I got the butter chicken, plain rice (you have to order it separately) and the garlic naan. All of them were fantastic! The butter chicken was creamy, and the garlic naan was buttery and soft. Loved it!!
We went for dinner, and we have ordered chicken Beryani, was ok but strong smell of some of the spices might be clove, but was not bad. chicken karahi was the best out of all , we requested spicy but didn’t get the spicy it was mild, and behari kabab, was not tender but taste was not bad. Out of 10 I would give 5 point for food. Portion was good and ambience was ok.
