China Taste, MD
The food itself was delicious. We got the Sezchuan Noodle Soup. The handmade noodles are very chewy, they gave us plenty of beef, and the spicy flavor was very good. The lady offered us water cups for the spice. My only complaint is the use of completely disposable utensils, from the chopsticks to the bowl to the cup.
They are using old menu(before Covid). Menu are same but $2-3 more per item. (Jan.2025) Fast service Resonable price Good taste
Full Key
Authentic family-style Cantonese food in the DMV area serving up all the classic dishes. The service was prompt and the waiters speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin! I recommend trying the BBQ meats. My favorite was the chicken - it was super flavorful, moist, and tender! The beef chow fun (乾炒牛河) had good wok hay and was well-seasoned. Can't go wrong with the sweet and sour pork either. Very crispy and moist pork! Only small nitpick - the gai lan was a little too crunchy/tough for my preference.
I like thier food isn't too sweet as like typically Chinese restaurant and menu is quite variety and more selection. Inside dine-in room seem a little bit small because of there are a lot of tables but atmosphere and decoration are nice. Service is friendly. Price and portion are reasonable. PS. Another good thing, Full Key restaurant closed hour is quite late, great for people who is looking for late dinner.
New Paul Kee Restaurant
Food is very authentic. Better than some places I’ve had in Chinatown, New York. Not too salty and nicely seasoned. Service is simple- very attentive- and the place is clean. Definitely will come back!
I went to this restaurant twice a week. My family very likes it. The roast duck, beef chow fun, spicy salt pepper shrimp, clams with black beans sauce, pork intestines with sour cabbage are the best in town.
Panda wok
I love this Chinese food place. Amazing egg rolls and really good chicken wings 10/10. The portions and prices are set good. The food is always hot! When ordering delivery especially on Uber eats or DoorDash the majority of the time your food will be cold, but their food is always hot!
I ordered, delivery, 10 piece lemon pepper wings they were so salty I could not even finish one! I also ordered my kids 5 piece regular chicken wings because they are big. I called and the lady told me to bring the food back, keep in mind I tipped the driver well but I wasn’t willing to pay for him to come pick up the rancid salty chicken. The lady kept screaming at me that’s the way they seasoned the lemon pepper wings. I love lemon pepper wings I have eaten them from many restaurants, this was the first time I order them from here. Customer service was definitely lacking. The wings had spoiled is my guess and they tried to cover it up with salt because after there was a lingering smell of rancid chicken. I was never offered a refund, apologies just told over and over to bring back the chicken. I ordered from this take out Saturday and I also had to throw out the chicken lomien. Something definitely needs to be checked out in their kitchen! Do I hear food inspectors…They are closed Tuesday so I promised her I would take her back her salty I mean lemon pepper wings on Wednesday! 😂
Hollywood East Cafe
I ordered the Mongolian beef for take out and was SO disappointed. Basically just sautéed onions for $18. I still have 3 stars because the wonton soup was good. My husband liked his chicken and mixed vegetables.
The owner and staff are so nice! We had a large group(12) around their big table. Everyone wanted something different, including gluten free and vegetarian options. EVERYONE enjoyed and explored new food. It was a great and adorable meal in a snowy Sunday
New star Chinese Restaurant
Having read so many good reviews, and knowing that the restaurant was hurting from being on a road closed by a nearby factory fire, we ordered, not just for ourselves, but on a night when two friends had joined us for dinner. We ordered chicken egg foo yung (a combination dinner); General Tso's tofu (and an egg roll); beef, shrimp, and chicken in garlic sauce; and pork yat. We were all sadly disappointed. The General Tso's tofu was bland and lacked flavor. When reheated the next night, it had no distinctive "General Tso's" taste, although the tofu was nicely crisped on the outside. The beef, shrimp, and chicken dish was unremarkable. "It doesn't compare at all with what [competitor's name] would serve," my friend said (or words to that effect). I had it the following night, too: the beef was tender, the chicken less so, but still uninteresting. My wife ordered the chicken egg foo yung: "It was ok, but it was bland." What she *did* appreciate is that the gravy was provided in a separate container. Often, we have elsewhere found the egg omelet swimming in a salty gravy. Now, the Pork Yat: the New Star menu reads "Pork yat typically consists of tender pork pieces mixed with vegetables and served over noodles, often accompanied by a savory sauce." Really. I received a quart container of a thick brown gravy with noodles, a few slivers of pork, and apparently no vegetables. I see elsewhere on the web that "Pork Yat" can be a noodle soup: that's just not what the description prepared me for. I realize now I had never heard a friend recommend New Star, and a healthy skepticism might have found a better meal than we got. Perhaps I overloaded the kitchen by asking for a pickup time 25 minutes after I called this order in (the restaurant did not say it would be a problem), but it took 45 minutes for our food to finally be ready to go. We will not be returning, I think.
I got the shrimp with walnuts and cheese wontons. Both are good, but I definitely recommend getting the cheese wontons. It comes in 8 pieces and with a sweet and sour sauce. Would definitely try more from here.
P.F. Chang's
Hi decided to give it a try and order some take out. I specifically ordered the Beef with broccoli and fried rice meal. It was OK. The meal tasted good. Felt that if I was paying $25 I should be getting more than I did. Maybe the portions are better when ordering inside. Won't order take out again tho.
Wonderful experience with one of the best servers we have ever had! Thank you Ashley, for making my dad’s heavenly birthday so special with his favorite dessert.
China Star
I brought my son to eat at China star General so chicken. It was very delicious. Everything I ate was delicious. My son and I really enjoyed it. Cindy was the hostess her and her husband came together to make this great business in atmosphere. I live all the way in Trenton and I came here to eatso I hope you guys give it a shot and leave them a great review because they did great I’d never leave reviews.
Took one bite of the meat from the pepper steak and it was cold and raw in the middle. I called to let her know she said I had to come and bring the food. She did not want any pictures and if I don’t bring it in person its nothing she can do. I don’t even think this is real meat that they use because everything is rubbery with no flavor. What a waste of money. !
Liu Garden
Great food super fast takeout. Always quality and never had any issues with our orders. Always exactly as ordered super fresh and hot!
Good food. Fast service (almost too fast). Liu Garden is a very local Asian restaurant. I eat here every week, and enjoy it every time. I recommend this place to everyone who wants some good, but fairly cheap, Chinese food. My only bads here occurred when I ordered sesame chicken. It seemed like they took general tso's chicken and put sesame seeds on top of it. Besides that, everything else is tasty.
Hunan Village
Had delivery but delivery was quick and efficient. Ordering was easy. They followed all directions. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 star was there was that the orange chicken was soggy instead of crunchy and the chicken (some people like it like that) and was cut way too large of pieces. Quantity was perfect. Food was all hot on delivery.
I've always called these folks for delivery of Chinese. Having live in the SF Bay Area for years I was a little spoiled. This place has the first reasonably good Hot and Sour Soup I've found outside of California. It's best ordered in the afternoon than for lunch, but nice always.
Jasmine Asian Bistro
An excellent experience. The restaurant itself is cozy and the staff is very pleasant. The food was delicious, fresh, and fairly priced. I look forward to coming back again.
We've been eating here forever. Great American-ised Chinese food. I wanted to email this to the restaurant rather than post it on the interwebs, but there is no email address on their website. Soo, here it is... We ordered take out two weeks ago, and my wife found a dead cooked roach in her chicken and rice. Our hearts dropped because 1) that is freaking disgusting; 2) we now need to find another Chinese restaurant that tastes as good. Confidence in a restaurant to not feed you food without insects - especially roaches- is at an extreme low at this point. Good luck everybody else.
China Wok
The service wasn't bad but in the beginning it seemed a little slow. Once we put in our order it picked up nicely. Their green tea was yummy. The crab Rangoons are the best I've had in a long time, the dumplings were fried to perfection but I was expecting a bit more pork. The Mongolian beef was extremely tender! The pork fried rice, while good, was more like white rice with veggies egg and pork. Overall I will definitely come back because it was all fresh and flavorful. I just got home from having dinner here, I am full happy and do NOT feel gross like I do after eating elsewhere.
I ordered a white meat general tos chicken. The restaurant originally made my order wrong I requested white rice and received pork fried rice. Upon starting my food my chicken is rock hard. Im barely able to bite into my chicken. This is a disgusting disgrace.
