China delight
This feels like someone’s house. But not in a bad way. All of the servers when we were there were the sweetest elderly people. The food is AMAZING oh my goodness. The servings could also easily feed two people. I went here with my sister and we had such a good experience. Our server was such a kind lady and she was very friendly. Our drinks were never empty and our stomachs were more than full with enough to take home leftovers. They also have some great vegetarian options if you need that. Overall great experience and I will definitely be back!
Northern Houston Texas USA suburb a city called Conroe Texas. Restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside easy to find with GPS and good food. In a strip center with a lot of parking. The food was delicious and plentiful. I felt they really take good care of me. Seems to be a safe area. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area. Was my first time here and I will come back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like my reviews gives me a thumbs up.
Panda Express
CLOSE IT DOWN N STOP ROBBING HARD WORKING PPLS $$$$$,,, 40 bucks wasted, worse than dog food, food tasted old like from yesterday or the day before maybe, and tasted like it was cooked in dirty pans, just nasty, we eat panda express all the time, but this was our 1st time to the Willis location, and now will be out last trip to any of them anymore. On top of the dog food they served us they also shorted us the shrimp, go figure. Even the egg roll n cheese ragons were hard and tasted like they were old in fried in old oil, almost like they were left over from last wks lunch!!! Ticket says 5: 49 p.m. which is prime time for dinner!!!! UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!! We work hard for our $$$ just to save to be able to eat out, this is total robbery!!!!! Order # 228561 server Maria V
Never got my food. Manager here barely speaks English and is lazy. I like to actually physically see the food I'm ordering here because I've been ripped off at this location and this women wouldn't unlock the lobby door for 5 seconds to let me come look, ONLY allowed to order through the drive-thru absolutely ridiculous at a place like this. She was just either too lazy or wanted to rip me off with a vegetable only meat and veggie plate like they've done before. They put like 3 pieces of me in to go orders hoping that you're not going to notice because you're not eating at the restaurant I'd like to actually see the food that's being put into my plate. Will he reporting her to corporate
Lee's Kitchen
A Real little gem Chinese restaurant. I ordered BBQ roast pork for appetizer. It was so so good. This is the best BBQ roast pork I have had so far in my town even though they are just a tiny TOGO place, but their quality is different story. They already made me falling love from first time I tried. I also ordered Lee's combo appetizers.(mix spring rolls, wings, shrimp tempuras, fried wontons) They were great too. The price and portion are very good deal. A lot of selections of Chinese food on menu. Sometimes you can't judge people from look, I think, the restaurant too. I can't wait a chance to go back and try a big real food from them now.
After the Hunan Manor close in white oak. This has been our favorite place. We drive 1/2 hour one way. Best vegetable dumplings in the area. Everything we have tried from Lees menu has not disappointed us. We been ordering for about three years and will continue to.
Red House Chinese Restaurant
Update: I didn’t finish all of my orange chicken and rice on the first night that I bought it so I had it as leftovers the next day and it wasn’t good. The chicken tasted very stringy like there was hair or something in the chicken almost like it wasn’t really chicken. I recently ordered takeout from Red House Chinese Restaurant located at 3221 N Main St in Dayton, OH, and I wanted to share my experience. Upon arriving, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant was closed to customers due to “disorderly customers,” which was a bit concerning. There were signs taped to the door and windows informing patrons that takeout was the only option available. While the exterior and the situation gave off a slightly "ghetto" vibe, I decided to give it a shot anyway. I ordered the orange chicken combo which came with pork fried rice however I exchanged it for chicken fried rice and it also came with a pork egg roll, which I exchanged for a shrimp egg roll and I ordered crab Rangoon. I also ordered soul chicken combo which came with shrimp fried rice in a pork eggroll. To my surprise, the food was quite good! I had heard mixed reviews about this place, but my first experience was positive. The orange chicken was flavorful, the fried rice was well-prepared, and the crab Rangoon had that delicious crunch I was hoping for. However, the customer service could use some improvement. When I went inside to take some pictures and videos of the door area, I was told I couldn’t do that, which felt a bit unnecessary, especially since I had already taken a few photos before being approached. Overall, I would consider returning to Red House for takeout, but I think I might stick to the items I enjoyed rather than trying a wide variety of options due to other reviews I’ve read. If you're in the area and looking for a decent Chinese meal, this spot may surprise you!
This use to be my favorite place to go since I moved to Dayton but these last few times the food hasn’t been the same! Not as good chicken always seems soggy and egg rolls over cooked. Very friendly and just need to ask them to cook your chicken a little longer
Szechuan Taste
Love ordering from this place usually once a month for me. But when I do it's well worth it food is always hot taste fresh as well the vegetables taste great and the staff is very nice and as well generous with their portions of food. Nice clean restroom as well as inside the restaurant . and they make you feel right at home. Would definitely recommend
Waited 25 mins as suggested and my food was not ready for Pick Up when I arrived. As I approached the counter I noticed the Woman that was working seem as if she forget to prep my order. I ordered jumbo shrimp and fried rice. She coughed in her hand then grabbed the frozen shrimp out of the freezer then put it in the cooking oil. I left , the woman chased me outside and said my food was ready. I asked to see it bagged then to ensure I wouldn't get the contaminated order . She told me no because I didn't pay first. Woman was very rude and abrasive , even smacked her lips . Totally don't reccomend.
Dragon City
This was the first time I had ever ordered for from there. It awful the food tasted nasty and had after taste. I will never order from there again. Did not ask for a refund. Because I know I would get it.
The chicken fried rice was absolutely disgusting, overcooked, and not even sure if there was chicken included in it. The Chow Mein shrimp only came with the vegetables, not noodles. Only thing i ordered that was good was the crab Rangoon.
Rice
Me and my wife have been ordering from here, since before they moved. Everything we've tried has been great........Our son loves the wonton soup. It's hard to say what I usually go with, because everything is great. Today, I went with the Orange chicken, some shrimp egg rolls, and cheese wontons. Keep up the great work!
I have only lived in Dayton for about a year and a half and I was always in search of some good Chinese food. Rice is the spot for me hands down! It’s a simple name but delicious food! My recommendations would be House fried rice and Sweet and sour chicken.
China Garden Buffet
EDIT: wow i made this review while eating and shouldve waited till we left. My husband went to pay while my daughter finished her ice cream and then a waitress proceeded to make a spectacle of my table asking us all sorts of questions and then speaking to the employees in her language having everyone around us staring. Then we go to leave and they stop us and said they forgot to charge me for mtn dew and instead charged me for water and i had to pay a separate 7$ charge for my beverage... making ME look like i tried to pull a fast one when ive never even been here. Definitely ruined the entire experience. Food was fantastic! 37$ for two adults including drink. Comparable prices for other places! Food was better than most other Chinese restaurants ive tried in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly! Was a little hard to get a refill on my beverage but that truly was the only downside! We will definitely be back.
I brought my family here for the first time. The kiddos all enjoyed the different dishes they got. I noticed that not all the dishes temperatures are kept to the same temp. Bourbon chicken was nice and hot, but my orange chicken was warm. I got one of the small crabs, had the waitress help me open it and her face of disgust is all I needed not to try a bite. For spending over $100 for a family dinner, I won't be returning.
New China
Not sure why there are any one-star reviews here at all. The food is very fresh, and the service is quick. This is my favorite family-owned spot in Dayton. Thank you for making such delicious food!
I wish I would've thought to take some pics of everything I'm about to attempt to describe, including the food lol. First , let me say the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the general tso's shrimp, which I've never seen at any other Chinese restaurant ever, and I loved it. What I didn't expect was walking into a "restaurant" that's been chaired off to hold some children(though I get it, you gotta do what you gotta do), piles of boxes by the door, filth everywhere. The place could use a serious cleaning, to the point that i questioned my decision of where to get food, after i walked in the front door. Thankfully, I gave it a shot and found the food excellent.
Bright Moon Buffet
Do NOT!!!!! Go to this place. I went here with my family of six. The food was old, stale and just the appearance was very unappetizing. It stinks like a fish tank that smacks you in the face when you walk in and lingers mixed with the smell of food the whole time you are there. The food tasted terrible. They charge 17.99 per person. It is highway robbery for the quality of the food and experience. It is true like other google reviews that the staff stand of to the side and stare and talk about the customers that are there. Save your time and money. 🤮🤢
I experienced very rude customer service. And I felt they were racist but maybe they weren’t and just chose my family to act inappropriately to. The waiter started speaking very fast in an Asian language and I told him I didn’t understand, he rolled his eyes and asked what we wanted to drink. Also while I was getting food another worker came up to me and took the food off my plate with her hand. And said the food wasn’t ready. Why is it sitting out if it’s not ready? They watched me and my kids eat the whole time, other than that the food was good but they treated us very badly.
Hong Kong Pearl Seafood Restaurant (MD)
We enjoyed the standard banquet dinner for 2 round tables. There was a huge event happening in the large room, so our party was tucked in a quiet room in the back that we really enjoyed. Food came out at a good pace, and we enjoyed all the flavors of the food. Prepared traditionally as Canto food and plenty to go around. Spacious and clean bathrooms, free parking lot. This is located in the strip mall next to HR Block. Enjoy!!
It's replacement of New Fortune. The menu however is much improved. The din sum taste fresh and delicious. The service is too eager, the lady took my food before I finish it without asking. The chicken feet is sweet and tangy, the shiumay very juicy and the haka plus spare ribs quite tasty. Overall the food is good.
Oriental Cafe
Beef with onion is actually onion and beef. The bowl was full of onion and peppers with a small amount of beef. Fried rice was good but didn't have flavor. I'm giving 3 stars because the beef it did tasted good.
Oriental Cafe has become our go-to for outstanding Chinese takeout! Although I haven’t dined in yet, every takeout experience has been outstanding. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared very well. Each dish is packed with great taste, and the portions are generous – definitely getting our money’s worth! The service has been consistently top-notch too. My orders are always ready on time, and the staff is friendly and accommodating, making the whole process smooth and easy. If you're looking for high-quality Chinese food with reliable, warm service, I highly recommend giving Oriental Cafe a try.
