Yums Chinese Restaurant
So. we have been a long time customer and were eagerly awaiting the reopening. The food quality is not the same. The chicken terriyaki appetizer has so little chicken that it's like chicken jerky and 90% not edible.... charge more if that's what you need to do, but what we received was just awful. The Shrimp egg roll...had one small piece of shrimp...just not worth the drive for the quality or price. The BBQ ribs were okay (they had meat) as was the wonton soup. When you order online it does not let you leave before putting in a tip...we picked up the order. We gave it 2 orders before I posted this...just sad!!!
We ordered tonight for the first time since they reopened. Everything we had, crab, Rangoon, eggrolls, shrimp, lo mein, and sweet-and-sour shrimp were all excellent.. It was even more delicious than it was before! We highly recommend,
China Wok
Normally, this place is very good. But my recent take out order had some issues. The spare ribs and the garlic chicken wings were excellent. But - the sweet and sour shrimp was totally overbreaded with batter to the point where it was ridiculous. The pork fried rice were left on the wok wayyyyyyyyyyy too long, as they had a burned taste. I may have to switch to another Chinese take out place in the future.
Egg rolls were horrible. The filling was way overcooked and looked like a minced filling. One bite and they went in the trash. Chicken chow mein and pepper steak sauce was just watery and no flavor. Most of it went in the trash also. Will not be returning!
Chinese Panda
In the area traveling and saw what great reviews this place had so we were excited to try it out. But we were quite disappointed. Got waited on quickly. Tried the lunch special - great price and included your drink. We ate in. Restaurant was tidy but just dated. The food looked good enough - but it just didn’t taste good. The general tso’s was just one big clump of meat and breading. Meat was ehh. Also tried the chicken lo mein. The sauce tasted burnt. The lo mein chicken was rubbery and not good. Tried the hot & sour soup. It was an off consistency. Kind of curdled. Just didn’t taste like much of anything. The crispy noodles were not house made - were store bought type chow mein noodles. Got soggy very quickly. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back 🙁
I decided to try something different this time. I ordered the lunch special L10: Roasted Pork with Mixed Vegetables (Broccoli, Carrots, Pea Pods and Baby Corn) with White Rice in a White Sauce. The pork was tender and flavorful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Even though it was really good, I'm going to stick with their chicken dishes which are absolutely delicious. You also get your choice of a free pop with your meal for a fantastic deal. I definitely recommend checking out their lunch specials. Donna will make sure that you have a great experience.
Wok Cuisine Chinese Restaurant & Sushi Bar
I was running errands in the area and my mom asked me to pick up Chinese, and this one was on my way home. While I was looking at the menu, someone came in to pick up their order and the owner was talking to them about it. He said no one orders that particular dish (beef ho fun) because they don't know about it but it's very tasty and they're proud of it. They make their own rice noodles (very wide, *almost* like Hungarian noodles) for this dish. That's what I ordered. My family ordered their usuals - lo mein, fried rice, beef sticks, cashew chicken, egg rolls, wonton soup. The crispy noodles that come with the soup are the fresh fried kind, not the pre packaged super hard ones. The fried rice is how I prefer it- no freeze dried veggies, just egg, bean sprouts, onion, and whatever protein you prefer (shrimp in this case, which were actually good and not "salad shrimp"). This is usually a sticking point for me. If the rice is loaded with freeze dried peas and carrots, I'm unlikely to go back. The beef sticks and egg rolls were similar to most other places, good but not a deal maker or breaker if trying to decide between Chinese restaurants. Cashew chicken and lo mein were consistent with expectations. The beef ho fun was everything I was expecting after hearing their description. The ride home smelled like garlic. The noodles were soft and doughy, but in a comforting, homemade way. There was a ton of beef, and the perfect amount of scallions, onions, and bean sprouts. The flavor is smoky (but NOT like that awful liquid smoke flavor) and garlicky and still delicate. I would order this every time. I was there on a Sunday around noon, no lunch prices which was expected. Sushi bar wasn't open which was disappointing but not unexpected as Sundays are primarily dinner focused and geared toward later hours. I'll definitely be back for the ho fun and to try their sushi.
The fried rice has a weird taste to it. The stir fried broccoli with brown sauce was more like a soup. And the chicken was very average. Had high expectations because of the reviews and was left disappointed.
Tung Hing
The food was exceptional, but unfortunately, my experience with customer service fell short. When I called to place a pickup order, the representative's tone was unwelcoming and unprofessional. I had politely asked her to repeat herself, and she responded with noticeable irritation. I mentioned that I was calling for a pickup, to which she replied, 'Well, I have four orders for pickup right now, what's your name?' She then abruptly ended the call, telling me to come in 'ten minutes.' When my partner arrived to pick up the order, it became clear that the negative tone had continued, as she conveyed unprofessional remarks to him to pass along to me. This experience underscores the importance of strong customer service skills. While the quality of the food was fantastic, the manner in which customers are treated plays a significant role in shaping their overall experience. A positive interaction can make a lasting impression and encourage repeat business, while a negative one can overshadow even the best products
This Chinese restaurant stands out from the average. With a longstanding reputation, they are renowned for their delectable fried chicken wings, especially when paired with their flavorful sauce. While the rice and atmosphere are average, it's definitely a go-to spot if you're in the mood for delicious fried chicken wings.
Wang's Asian Express
We had the beef with broccoli and white rice as well as the orange chicken with fried rice. Very tasty, not overly greasy like some places. The gentleman working was friendly and answered our questions without hesitation. Plenty of seating inside. Friendly people, great food. We also tried the krab Rangoon’s and steamed dumplings which aren’t pictured. Everything tasted fresh and of high quality
The wife and I decided to give this place a try because it says NY style Chinese food on the window. Born and raised in NYC, I can tell you this place is NOTHING like NY Chinese food. As a matter of fact, this is probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered the BBQ Boneless Pork with egg fried rice. The rice looked plain and honestly had no flavor. The pork was a little dry and tough. Not very good in flavor. My wife ordered the General Tso's Chicken with egg fried rice. Same issue with the rice. The chicken was not your typical General Tso's chicken. It was kind of stringy, and again, not much flavor. I ordered steamed dumplings and was highly disappointed. It tasted like the frozen dumplings you would get at a grocery store. I won't be ordering from this place ever again.
Huas Garden Chinese Restaurant
Amazing food. Got there and it came out hot. Huge portions. Friendly staff. We called ahead by about 5-10 minutes and it was ready shortly after we walked in. Between a family member and I, we polished off half a quart of the pork fried rice and the beef lo mein, it fed the two of us to 'FULL' and theres still half left of both. All for $20 + tax. Thanks guys!
I've been eating here your over a decade. I've been seeing a decline in their quality. Tonight, I'm going hungry. My husband got his shrimp lo-mein as he likes. I ordered fried dumplings which came very undercooked with only one side with very light cooking marks. I ordered a chicken stick to fulfill their minimal order requirement for delivery (25.00) my bill was 31 and change. I tipped the driver 6.00. They placed my chicken in top in a bag and when I took it out, it poured juice all over me and ruined the clothes I was wearing right off the bat. 🤬 Why would you put something this wet in a bag while my under cooked dumplings were in a drip proof container! Might be what I needed to stop from here, 10+ years or not. Us locals have been loyal to you for YEARS and you sent me an undercooked message. This is why corporations take over. Appreciate your locals and do better
China Garden III
I called in my order of a Large Beef Lo Mein. I picked it up & brought it home. It was not Lo Mein. It was Beef & Broccoli. I called and let them know that it was wrong. She said that she repeated it to me on the phone & I said yes. I couldn't understand her on the phone, but I did repeat a Large Beef Lo Mein. I asked if I could return it for what I had ordered. She said No. I am extremely disappointed & unfortunately I will not go back. I loved their Beef Lo Mein.
Well I've been ordering Chinese food from several different places throughout my years, I'm not a child I'm a grown adult, I usually pay a couple dollars extra for white meat when I order General Tso's chicken, normally I have never got an attitude like I got from China Garden lll , BUT you can only imagine the frustration I got when I received the attitude while asking a few questions about the menu, after hearing from several people that they had the best Chinese food WELL . WELL I was not buying SO why not , I got SO excited ..... WELL they might have the best Chinese food, ( SOME SAY) but awful, disgraceful customer service. How hard is it to take the chicken from( sweet and sour chicken) " which is already breaded" and white meat as asked for and add some General Tso's chicken sauce on it 🤔 ? Totally unacceptable..... She was too busy to answer my questions, she was too busy to talk to me , and actually got frustrated 🤔 UUUUUMMMMM , EXCUSE 🫢 ME!!!!!!!!! Busy or not. In my world where I grew up, very customer service oriented, they should be very ashamed of themselves. ***** FYI whether a customer is buying a 10 Cent peice of candy or a 25 dollar bottle of wine, everyone and anyone should be treated equal. 👎. #Manners #patients #kindness 🙏. *****My kids treat people with more respect than these grown adults. Smh....... I hope you take this review serious because I'm sure I'm not the only one that has ever felt the unneeded disrespect , well I was nice as can be and also asked you how your day was going. God Bless 🙌
China King
This is the best Chinese food that you'll find in town. It is a hole in the wall. There is no point eating inside as it is just poor quality and the service is usually below average (about what you'd expect from hole in the wall restaurants). Best to order online (door dash or the like) and pick it up. As for the food, it is delicious! Everything is flavorful and enjoyable. They're usually good about 9 out of 10 times, which is blowing most other Chinese restaurants in the area out of the water. The honey garlic chicken wings are so good!
FINALLY found a good Chinese restaurant in Lehigh that didn't give my family a bad case of montezuma's revenge! Between the three of us we had Generals Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon & Hot & Sour Soup. ALL excellent and all Highly recommended.
Asian Buffet
Proof that I am not lying when I say this. I added photo. The food was burned, dried and very tasteless. I like the other buffet called wanfu buffet ft Myers. I hate saying that I hated it but I did.
Everything was good but not great. Not a huge selection of items on the buffet to choose from. They didn’t have any regular egg rolls but had these skinny little ones instead. The hibachi grill was small but pretty good.
China Star
I don’t ever write reviews but I’m so tired of ordering from places based on their good reviews, spending upwards of $100, and getting food that tastes like it was cooked yesterday. So, sorry China Star, this is a big no from us. My orange chicken was rock hard and on a bed of mushy iceberg lettuce. Why would you serve orange chicken like this? And why was it a whole dried out chicken breast sliced? It also didn’t come with any sauce, just a side of orange JELLY. The fried rice also tasted very old. My husband had the General Tso Chicken and it had no flavor, was not the usual tangy spicy, and the chicken was very dry. The eggrolls were just OK. The delivery driver was very nice, and probably one of the only restaurants left that doesn’t source out to instacart, Uber, or door dash.
Location is a little weird but very cool once you get inside. The food was good for the most part. The fried rice tasted old and we were missing an item from our very large order. Great sizes. Wonderful chicken. Everything else was fresh.
First Wok
I’ve been having a really hard time finding good quality Chinese food ever since moving down to Florida and it took 6 years to discover First Wok. They were super friendly inside, and the restaurant looked very clean. The food smelled amazing and I was excited to try! We took out their egg rolls, pan fried dumplings, bbq boneless spare ribs and egg foo young and EVERYTHING was amazing! Truly New York style and absolutely delicious! Thanks for welcoming us for our first time and we will definitely be back many more times!
Great value food - taste to price ratio. The Sesame Chicken dish was delicious, the Dumplings were amazing (Toasted outside and juice inside), and the spring rolls were tiny but tasted great. The chicken Lo Mein was not very flavorful and the chicken had a super soft texture - I’ve definitely had better for the price. Either way, most of the plates were delicious and I’ll definitely come back again.
