Fortune House
My meal had obviously been sitting for hours. I have never had rice that I could not chew. I don't know if they stage the meals and wait for you to order or if someone had not picked up this order. The best thing about my meal was the soda.
Very disappointed ! Ordered from here many times and its usually really good, and tonight it was awful. Not exaggerating. The orange chicken was disgusting. Tiny gloppy pieces...not anything like it usually is. The fried rice had a burnt taste and smell to it. Had been craving it for awhile, but honestly it was over $ 60 and tasted terrible. I don't think I'll ever order from here again
Hong Kong Restaurant
Walked in and sat down wherever we wanted. Had a waitress come over immediately to take our order. The soup we ordered came out immediately, and our dinner meal came out very shortly thereafter! On top of the great service, price and quality of our meals, 1 of our meals were enough for 2 meals!! I would suggest Hong Kong Restaurant to anyone looking for really good food for a really good price.
This place has the best fry rice I've ever had. It's always perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The portions are huge, so I always have leftovers. Plus, the price is super reasonable. Definitely check them out if you're craving some good Chinese food.
Panda Express
Food was fresh, except egg rolls and kung po were burnt. Staff were nice. All the tables were dirty and it wasn't even busy. Also not why they serve you in togo boxes when you eat in
I’ve been meaning to update my review. Updating to 5 stars. For the past few months I’ve been a patron consistently honey walnut shrimp and honey chicken. It’s always fresh, and servings you can appreciate. The ladies or any other staff I’ve encountered have also been amazing in their customer service. Previous review 9 months prior to update: They will argue that a few inexcusable pieces of beef to 7 broccoli is the correct ratio for 13$ plate. Terrible attitudes. Only thing worth getting is orange chicken.
Wing Ho Chop Suey
The first time that I ate there the food was ok the next time I went the food was not good. I was going to try it again and it was a big water bug or cock roach that ran up under the freezer.
My husband suggested this place for dinner and said it was the best Chinese for around, highly disappointed. We ordered crab Rangoon which was probably the best part of our meal, we also got shrimp fried rice which was also good, however our main dishes were not good at all. We ordered beef and broccoli and orange chicken. The beef didn’t looked cooked and had no flavor, the chicken was not how Orange chicken usually is, it was not crispy and the sauce was a bit watery and just not good overall. Do not recommend unless you only want fried rice and crab Rangoon.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
On Sunday, our experience was not as positive as we had hoped. While the food was okay, the mashed potatoes did not meet our expectations. Additionally, we felt that our server was quite distant, we didn't receive any greeting until we approached the front for drink refills. I understand that she may have been busy, but a little acknowledgment would have made us feel more attended to.
One of the few places that still offers a salad bar, which is why we eat here occasionally. We have found that these salad items are most fresh if we go late afternoon on Saturdays. Still offering at least three options on greens (romaine lettuce; spinach; spring mix). Fewer topping choices than before the pandemic (no beans? no beets?). But still standard things like carrots, broccoli, cucumber, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, grated cheeses, etc. Hot vegetables reliably include baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli, steamed carrots, and sweet corn. As vegetarians, we can make a meal of this! But even when they're busy, the temperature of the food is unpredictable.
Taylor Street Pizza
Ordered thin crust pizza 10/15 for lunch sent over deep dish ,Half of the pizza's toppings were off the pizza more oil on this pizza than in my cars crankcase called and the girl said that's what we ordered and the damaged part was door dash's problem maybe if there wasn't so much oil on this pizza it wouldn't have slid off ! Absolutely Terrible Service Never Again .
Solid place, the pizza was really good easily 8/10, The only negative is the fact that the menu they had seems to be outdated because I was charged a few dollars more. And I dont recommend any dessert the pizza is great but I got a cake slice and it came FROZEN so if you’re someone who doesn’t mind that then all welcome
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Fried rice wasn’t fully cooked, it was difficult to eat! It was still raw!! The packing was horrible! The whole bag was soaked in grease And chicken with broccoli? More like just broccoli! So disappointed! Second time coming here, don’t recommend it ! Stay away
Ordered “beef fried rice” and literally had it delivered 20 mins ago and man did this food gross me out. The beef is chewy and not edible at all. About to throw my whole $30 meal away. Smh. Waste of money for sure.
Applebee's Grill + Bar
I'm giving 3 stars because our food was palatable. Other than that our appetizer (queso dip) that came after our meal was cold. Also, my $7.50 margarita that was filled with ice tasted as if there was no alcohol in it.
Service was the only reason we stayed. The waitresses were nice and very attentive to our needs. Despite one being training on her first day, they both displayed great competence. The food left much to be wanted with flavoring; bland brocoli and mashed potatoes.. hardly any Alfredo sauce on the pasta and a surcharge for sauce? Some of the plate of noodles was missing Alfredo sauce entirely; just buttered noodles. Also, despite visiting during their half price appetizers (the only reason we even ordered one) we were charged full price due to the combo appetizer sampler being excluded from the happy hour special... there was zero notice of this on the menu or the posters along the walls. And finally, we ordered desert trying to leave with a positive note. You can't mess up desert... right? Well, an undercooked brownie would certainly prove that theory wrong. It's a shame, Applebees used to be a decent option for a dine-in option. There was an overlaying hint of profit searching, what with limited sauce, sketchy happy hour stipulations and underseasoned sides. For 80 dollars for two people you would at least expect decent quality for the cost.
