Happy Dragon Chinese Cafeteria
I haven’t solidified a true Chinese spot in this area so this was a trial. I’m pleased to say it exceeded my expectations! The combo platter comes with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I was shocked flew much food came in the meal. Everything was tasty. I ordered on the phone which was simple, they didn’t even ask for a name. It was ready quickly and I was in and out with my pick up order.
I ordered the shrimp mei-fun & a Philly egg roll and the mei fun had a weird smell to it & tasted weird as well, the egg roll was so greasy, the grease came thru plastic & wet the napkins in the bag for 18$, it definitely wasn’t worth it
Rice China
The workers here are great! They never make a mistake and the food taste amazing!!! They always give good portions. Really good local Chinese spot my family and I love this spot!
Went for lunch. Cheap price. And the egg roll was fresh and tasty. No egg in the fried rice, that’s good for some people. But as you can see from the picture I took, my sesame chicken was literally 98% seasoned flour with a 2% minuscule amount of chicken. Didn’t know I paid for seasoned dough balls. Not acceptable
China Cafeteria
No stars 🤮🤮🤮still disgusting Haven’t ate here in years, until today My fiancé wanted some braised wings & rice I was very skeptical The last time I ate here the food wasn’t good Tried them again today🤢I was disappointed again…. waste of money, threw away the whole thing. Not sure what happened over time back in the late 90’s early 2000’s the food was good & the people behind the counter were a lot nicer. The server had a bad attitude
Staff are rude. I ordered 10 wings and 2 egg rolls. They charged me for 10 wings and French fries. Thank goodness I asked for a receipt. They do not understand when you when yo order the food. They do not care about the customer. Told me to “Get out”.
HIRO(Hibachi-Chinese-Wing)
What a disappointment! I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi combo and I got more chicken than steak or shrimp. The broccoli was completely raw. The wings looked like Cornish hen wings and the food was tasteless if not bitter. Never will compare to Rice China!
I would actually give this place a 4.5, but it won't let you do half star reviews. Came here on Monday to get some Chinese food and wings. I got the general tso's chicken with lo mein. The general tso's chicken was good, but it is not spicy if that's what you're expecting. The lo mein was good but it needed some seasoning. My husband got the lemon pepper wings and he said they were good. He also agreed with me on the lo mein that it needed some more flavor. Portions are good in my opinion. I would definitely come here again as the options are limited in this area. Just a heads up, the sign still says rice China and the inside hasn't been updated yet. The phone number will also show up as rice China, but we were assured they are under new management.
Mandarin Express
Yall food was good but I don't know what happen yesterday but I was about to throw up yesterday after eating yall listen i don't what yall did to my chicken but I can't eat yall no more I was funny alittle funny and i don't today but I was alittle yesterday after I ate yall
When you go to the mall the last thing that you think is that you're going to find any decent food. And unfortunately at South DeKalb Mall your food choices are extremely limited. However I'm happy to say that in the food court there is one restaurant that is holding on to its little spot in the corner and that is Mandarin Express. Freshly prepared Asian favorites such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and Black pepper chicken are available for your dining experience. Also available for a slightly higher price are items like Chinese green beans, Beef and broccoli, and Thai coconut curry chicken. And don't forget appetizers like vegetable spring rolls, chicken egg rolls or cream cheese rangoons. Of course it isn't five star dining however the food is fresh and hot and served with a pleasant attitude.
Main Moon Chinese Restaurant
Been going here for years and the food never miss it’s always good 😊 best Chinese food on the east side of Atlanta, she may look mean 😭 , she just mean business , and has always been sweet to me and my daughter
Came here for lunch. I had the beef fried rice, veggie stir fry and vegetable spring rolls. The rolls were so good I ate them and forgot to take pics 😅. The beef fried rice too was so so good. . The food stayed hot all through and that was great for me 🙂. Also, they have a fast service. The wait time is good
New China Restaurant
Terrible . Eat somewhere else. Order Mongolian chicken with fried rice and only had 7 pieces of chicken in it with so many onions in it. Definitely won’t order again. Plus i got just two meals and it was $38. Not worth it. Spring rolls were decent .
This establishment offers a truly delightful dining experience. The flavors are expertly balanced, creating a memorable taste. The ingredients appear to be incredibly fresh and high-quality. It's clear that much care goes into the preparation of each dish. I highly recommend experiencing this New China Restaurant.
China One
So if you know you know you can definitely tell when people are posting fake reviews. The most recent seven 1star reviews are fake. They are all the same person saying the same thing all over a thing of ranch the wings here don’t go over 14 pieces and they don’t sell Philly cheesesteaks and then if you walk next-door to buy a ranch why not buy one where you are but from my understanding they gave her the ranch free and she also came back to the store after making seven 1 star reviews I didn’t let the reviews stop me from trying this place because it’s very close to my house and I know what a fake review looks like if you worked in customer service, you know the customer is not always right First time coming and I really like this place. The manager is very sweet. We had a nice conversation. I don’t see a bad bone in her body, the food is very well priced my order was $10 each and I got two kinds of meat. Sesame chicken and General tsos. My son got teriyaki and braised wings. and I will come back
Chicken fried rice is literally just chicken and rice. No veggies (except onions). No egg. Same with shrimp fried rice. Go a few miles out and you get actual fried rice with meat AND veggies AND egg. I guess they think customers in this area don’t deserve a full proper meal. I could have made this myself. Taking my money to their competitors from now on.
Hong Kong Garden
Don’t eat here, they gave me a 10 piece and every single chicken was PINK or bloody. Took the food back and they still argued with me about it being cooked all the way. When I got there to show them the chicken the cashier started digging in my rice, when I clearly stated my chicken was the issue. FIRST and last time coming here.
Ordered shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp was bad. It smelled rotten . Took it back and the cashier argued with me telling me I ate 4 piece of shrimp out of the food. Which I DID NOT . After about 10 minutes of going back and forth she replaced my order with general tso.
China Panda
I called ahead for a small roast pork lo mein. I was told that it would be ready for pickup in 10 minutes. I jumped in the car and drove over. It took a little longer than 10 mins for me to arrive, but when I did the food was ready on the counter. I ordered a small one but the container looks pretty big and the cost was around eight bucks. I hopped back in the car and started to dig in and it was a little greasy but pretty good. I added some hot sauce to add a little spice. The dish had a good noodle to meat ratio. Overall a pretty good experience. 3.5 rating
⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ warning!!if I could I would give you guys a negative score but is not allowed so one star will have to do me and my girlfriend went here very excited it's close to our house and convenient we ordered our food and only took about 10 Minutes for the food to be done which I thought was weird I ordered the Kung pow chicken and also a beef and broccoli and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had I don't know what the chicken was or if it was even edible the taste was so Off and disgusting! I didn't say anything to my girlfriend waited for her reaction she immediately said something's wrong with this food and ran upstairs to grab the chicken and broccoli from her son and made sure he didn't eat it either he also said that the food look weird!! Do not eat this food You'll be wasting your money I will never be back here!!! The street cats didint even want to eat it smh.
American Wings and Hibachi
I was actually very surprised at the quality and taste of the food. I had the steak and cheese with everything on it and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfect and were not seasoned like most places serve. The staff was cool as well, very professional. Not the ideal place as far as the local atmosphere, but the food makes up for it. I can tell the food was going to be good just by how orders were stacking getting prepared to be picked up by gig drivers. 5 🌟 's
This is now the second time I’ve ordered food from them this week through DoorDash. Both times, my food arrived lukewarm. Both times, I never received napkins, utensils, and the sauce they normally put with their orders. And now, DoorDash has restricted my account because of two complaints I’ve filed against this restaurant through them. The rice tastes old and as if it’s been left out all day or as if it’s been reheated in the microwave. The house hibachi consists of chicken, shrimp, and steak. The chicken is dry. The shrimp is soggy. The steak is tough and chewy. The vegetables? Way too greasy. I’m completely disgusted right now. This is now nearly $15 I’ll never get back from DoorDash.
Jerry Yum's Wings
The Food tasted fresh, clean. The portion of rice is generous. And I recommend the Yum Yum sauce depicted in the second photo. Oh! And there is dessert to sweeten your palette.
I ordered two different orders of fried rice, chicken fried rice with honey barbecue wings and beef fried rice with plain wings. For the plain wings even though I ordered plain there should still be the flavor of seasoning in it but no it tastes like they dump the wings inside oil after washing them without putting any season on it. The honey barbecue tastes nice though. Their fried rice tasted nice, it was soft and saucy, the only downside is that the quantity of the rice is small so if you want plenty of rice make sure you order extra rice. I will give the wings 7/10 because of the plain wings and the rice 10/10 😌🥰👍
