Outstanding restaurant. People who run this place are kind and cool and make some of the best chicken teriyaki. Not only that, but when I’m done eating I felt good and had a nap. But I also feel totally at peace, like time is an ocean that suddenly stops and becomes a beautiful, cerulean mirror of the sky, and I’m dancing on that mirror with orange chicken in my hands. The vodka lemonade was banging. The service was pretty good, the line was slow but once you get to the top it’s fast. It was a nice lunch at the pier.

We had such a great experience at Big Bowl Chinese Express in Navy Pier! We arrived a little early and didn’t realize they weren’t officially open yet, but the staff was super nice and took our order so it would be ready when they opened. We got the chicken teriyaki fried rice, and it was amazing—Panda Express who? Honestly, it could compete with a lot of popular spots. The prices were great, and the serving sizes were plentiful. Definitely my favorite part of Navy Pier!

I had a really disappointing experience at this Panda Express after they changed their staff. After multiple visits where the portions were smaller, no utensils, no bags. I went in to order one plate (one side and two entrees). When it came time to pay, the lady asked if it was a bowl. I misunderstood and ended up paying $9.64 upfront while waiting for my order. I suddenly realized that was less than I usually pay, so I informed her. She then made me pay an additional $11.30. After receiving my order, I noticed that parts of my original payment of $9.64 had not been refunded or processed. I then wait till they have no customers in line, come and kindly asked her if a refund could be made. Instead of understanding, she blamed me for the mistake and only refunded me $5.98. In the end, I had to pay nearly $15, when it normally costs just around $13. Why they made it so complicated? Why don't just refund the first payment and process another? I come there just to order a meal, not for their employees to mess up with my money. Especially since I've been a loyal customer from my first year in college, I will never coming back. They should have absolutely retrained their employees.

This has to be the worst Panda Express location I’ve ever been to. Every time I order, the food quality seems to be getting worse. Sometimes the chicken just tastes old and not fresh. But my tipping point with this particular location was when I found a piece of scour sponge in my bowl of Kung Pao chicken and fried rice. After seeing this, I just could not finish my meal, which I barely ate out of. I post this not to scare anyone, but to make people aware of the risks when buying at this location.

We walked in while going back home from shopping, we checked the rating after we placed an order and were skeptical about the food. But the food is really good and we didn't talk much with the cashier. The order was placed and food came very quickly. It's a small business, so I didn't have much expectations but with food and time I'm satisfied. Will try again.

Walked in today 10/13/23 Although there were two men sitting in the restaurant eating but there was nobody behind the counter to take the order. After 5 mins I ask the men eating was there anybody to wait on us they replied "yes, he's back there somewhere." O.K. after another 5 mins 3 more people entered and we waiting and wondering when we were going to get service. After calling is anybody here the owner comes out and screams "Shutup" , and we the customers were wondering why is he yelling like that then he proceeds to say " If you can't wait, you all can just leave" again yelling. Needless to say we all walked out. I'm not sure what was going on but our concern was mostly if he was having a bad day I can understand but to talk to your customers like that I didn't want to trust him with my food that's for sure. With all the crime going on we the customer was just wondering if everything was ok especially since nobody came out to take our orders for basically the 15 mins. I mean at least put a sign up saying you'll be back or something. I will be going on YouTube to learn how to cook my own egg foo young or pick another place. Wow!! before covid his service was great, but after covid well let's just say just close the business if you can't give good customer service..

surprisingly, one of the best dumpling restaurant I’ve ever witnessed. Perfection with old school learning of all handmade dumplings and other products that have superb quality… the taste is impeccable. I highly recommend this location you must try it! Also, don’t forget the skewer sticks. Amazing taste, and flavor.

Had to wait an hour for a soup dumpling dish we were promised to have within 10 minutes. Thinking she was busy on morning orders, we waited patiently for almost an hour only to be told by the lady that she never recalled taking our order. Since no receipt was given, my family & I proceeded to show the charge via banking app, & the lady continued to refuse our order to be served to us. She took our money & continued to conduct poor business. This was an extremely disappointing experience & unfortunately would not recommend anyone to dine here. Bottom line - not a welcoming atmosphere, this food court itself is over hyped.

Dumplings aren’t great, cucumber salad is watery. Do yourself a favor and go to duck duck goat across the street for good xiao long baos.

They delivered our food with no utensils or sauce. They’ll give you sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce at the restaurant as well as utensils and a STRAW for your drink but won’t give you nothing but food when they deliver. Like come on now!! No sauce will ruin a meal and a person whole appetite because I don’t play about my food! Egg roll is dry without it. Disappointed to say the least.

Spent over $80 on an order for a family of 6. 3 large entrees, large fried rice, 4 egg rolls and fried chicken, they gave us 15 packs of soy sauce & sweet and sour…15 total. I called to complain and they told me I didn’t need more than that. I’m going to make sure I tell all of my friends and family to find a new Chinese restaurant to spend their money.

This was the lousiest meal I’ve had in 33 years of my life. The orange chicken literally had no chicken 100% bread and the coconut from were the same with the tiniest shrimp I’ve ever seen. Food was barely warm. They replaced my orange chicken with bourbon chicken and I ate that and the rice

This place served riced cooked from who knows from when! The rice had a old it tasted spoiled ,vegetable cold my plate was a disaster don't waste your money in the location. This the reason people get sick they serve spoiled 😔 food. The health department should shut down this location. I was not able to eat, I had to throw it away.

Got what expected. This is not Panda Express, so don’t expect the same taste. For what they give you, it is good. Quantity is fine and orange chicken has some flavor. Noodles are ok and rice has a little too much soy sauce, but honestly, very good option for food around o hare in terminal 3

This is a Chinese fast food at an international airport. The service was fast, the food & portion were very decent, and the price was a standard airport price. I had orange chicken & spicy tofu (not so spicy) with fried rice. My husband said his blackpepper chicken and seafood rangoon were good too. I saw too many complainer bad reviews here, maybe they're exhausted & grumpy or expecting a 5-star restaurant quality.

$16.95 ($18.94 after tax) for a one entree bowl that typically would cost about half in a similar places not at an airport location. Food taste was just okay. Portion was reasonable. But if there are other similar restaurants in the same terminal, I would try other place first. It was quick service though. Kung Pao was SPICY!

The food didn’t taste good like it looked , this 2 meals I ordered make me wonder how much sugar they put in! , wayyyyy so so sweet 17.++ dollars is not worth it One of the worker lady looks like a bartender, she was just laying her elbows T the pick up counter has her headphones on, played on her phone, doesn’t care about how awkward when customer standing there and waiting for the order. My conclusion is not recommended!

Honestly not the worst option in the airport. Large portion sizes but quality is not very impressive. Considering price and the fact that is airport food, 4 stars is fair in my opinion.

Cost about $14 for a meal I ate maybe a 3rd of. I recently dined at Manchu Wok in ORD Chicago Airport and had a mixed experience. Upon ordering, I was asked to choose between rice and noodles; I opted for rice. Then, I was told to pick two additional items. I chose green bean beef and spicy chicken. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken tasted more like tofu, lacking the expected texture and flavor. Additionally, the green bean beef was predominantly green beans, with very little beef. Overall, the meal was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. The servers were friendly.

Can’t comment on food yet. Waited for 12 minutes in drive through to order. Three cars ahead of me sitting at window. No “we will be right with you”. Nothing. For 12 minutes. I finally order and they are out of white rice. 20 minute wait. I pulled up at 745pm. They are open until 10pm. If I wasn’t trapped in by cars I would have left. Will not be back. Update: Girl at window was friendly and looked stressed. There was one person helping her. I was going to give them benefit of doubt until I left drive thru and saw two other people in front area laughing doing nothing. Got half orange/half beef and broccoli. There was really no beef and it was barely warm. Orange chicken was good.

I love the food here, it's a new location so it has a clean atmosphere, but the service can be a little better. I requested for fresh string bean chicken since the one that was made looked like it was almost gone and had been sitting in the bowl, but when I asked the associate they told me that it was still fresh and refused my request other than that the food is quality.
