Priya Indian Restaurant
I recently dined at Priya Indian Restaurant in Schaumburg, and it was fantastic! The menu offers a great variety of flavorful dishes, including Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken, with a special highlight being their unlimited dosa nights on Thursdays and Unlimited Buffet with varieties of veg and non veg dishes ( I had traditional amoru chicken biryani which is delicious ). The service was top/notch. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for family or friends. The weekend buffet is a must-try, offering an impressive range of delicious options. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!
We drove from Evanston (45 min away) and it was worth the drive. The best food and the best service. 1000/10 recommend this place. Our favorite dishes were tava fish fry and chat pata chicken. We will definitely come back to this restaurant again. Top class service and food. I’ve included photos of the gosh Karahi and chicken curry we also ordered that was also really delicious.
India Foodie
The food was not that great and also very expensive. Worst sizzler i ever had. Paneer tikka masala n chicken tikka masala was below the average. Only thing that was good was chilli cheese naan.
Good food 4.5/5 and friendly service but I have to cut down my review for cleanliness. The place especially go to the restroom it is as dirty as a gas station. Bathroom door needs a paint job and bathroom was filthy like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Mirror was covered in old stains. They need to do a 180 on cleanliness or they are go to continue to lose people to neighbor restaurants which is clearly happening when I was watching all the other business in other restaurants in the parking lot.
Jay Bhavani (Indian Vegetarian street food)
Its a decent place to enjoy snacks at. The staff and service is good. I ordered Bombay cheese vadapav which was ok. The vada tasted nice but wasn’t that hot. The Pav was overpowering the taste of the overall vadapav which i think should be other way around. The cheese was cold becof which O think the kverall vadapav was not to warm. The chutneys with it was good though. My friend had ordered butter vadapav which was nice and warm. But again pav had an overpowering taste. I also had pav bhaji which was good. I think they should work on getting a softer version of pav which would make the dishes taste even better. Overall the place was nice and clean.
"Vadapav love that never fades, coming back for my favorite bite again and again" The Vada Pav was crispy perfection! The Ragda Chat was a flavor explosion, with a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Cheese Chinese puff was soooo good! But the real showstopper was the Lassi super creamy, refreshing. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Overall, I highly recommend Jay Bhavani for anyone looking for authentic, mouth-watering Indian street food. 10/10 would visit again!" (ice gola wasss so good)
The Cheesecake Factory
Delicious food, great service and atmosphere !!! We had sweet corn tamale cakes,Korean fried chicken and chicken enchiladas. It was Saturday and place was very busy but we made a reservation and food came out very fast, great service!!!
I visited this Cheesecake Factory during the Happy Hour in their bar area. They had a special menu with appropriate prices. I decided to order a Long Island Ice Tea to drink and this could have been much more intense in taste concerning the alcoholic content. To eat I had a beet and avocado salad and Factory Nachos. Both of them were very tasty and I would order them again. The portion of the Nachos was really tremendous, but I could finish it all by myself. I‘m looking forward to my next visit.
Turmerica
As a fellow Mumbaikar, I’ve tried a few places to get a taste of authentic Maharashtrian food and this place has my heart Here are my top picks: 1. Misal Pav:This place in Pune was the closest I’ve come to eating proper Maharashtrian food. The misal pav was delicious, and it came with sol kadhi tari, onions, and my favorite misal tari to make it extra spicy. 2. Dabeli:The dabeli was decent. The chutneys they used had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. 3. Maharashtrain Thali:This thali is worth every penny you spend on it. It had Jawar bhakri, pithla, laal thecha, Varan, and Bhat with Sheera and chaas. For the bhaji, it was baigan ka bharta. If you’re just visiting for a quick bite, try their dahi puri. If you’re looking for a full meal, their bhature is also generously portioned.
On recommendation from friend went to Turmerica to try Indo Chinese food and it was truely amazing ! Reminded me of Mumbai Indo Chinese street style food..perfect blend of spice n sauce.definitely recommend monchow soup, paneer chilli and Hakka Noodles. Loved the food, quantity n presentation too. Must visit place for Indo Chinese cuisine !
Jannat Restaurant
I had an amazing time at this fusion asian cuisine. Loved their plov and kebabs. Service was top notch they took care of us very well. Food was fresh. The ambience of this place is very nice. I loved the honey cake and the macrons. One of the best macrons i have tried so far. Definitely going back and highly recommended.
The food and service were excellent!! The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. The food was amazing! The soup and fresh bread were stand outs for me! Would highly recommend. The staff was very kind and service was quick.
Kritunga Indian Restaurant, Illinois
Food was good ; Crispy corn was not crispy at all 😕 Chicken fried rice was great Chettinad Chicken Curry was great Shrimp was okay only (maybe over cooked) Overall , good first impression for our family to try in this restaurant They also provide free delivery for 60$ minimum order and within 7.5 miles radius
Greatly enjoyed my recent visit to Kritunga. This was my first visit and the space was previously occupied by Thumka. The prices at Kritunga were fair and the food tasted delicious. For each person it came out to $21 with tip. My party and I definitely enjoyed our meal, which included several different cuisines. The one criticism I will add is the upselling during the ordering process— but other than that I would come again!
A mi Manera Mexican Cuisine
The best taco I’ve ever had. There, I said it. Get the number 3 - it’s the best quesabirria broth, I could drink a gallon of it. The atmosphere is just your typical hole in the wall type joint but the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our toddler and my husband loved it and will be back!
My gf and I went here for dinner tonight (didn’t wanna cook 😂) but I’m so glad we chose this place I’ve been meaning to try since moving to Palatine. It was such a good experience from the moment I walked in to the second we left. The food was to die for. We had the Beef and Vegetable soup special and the quecas! Both were very good! They pay attention to detail and everything was clean. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend to everyone! Love supporting small businesses like theirs.
Gators Wing Shack Grill & Pizzeria
You won’t find better wings in Chicagoland area. All of the sauces/coatings are amazing. Great atmosphere and service is a huge plus. We have been going here for years and never left disappointed. A must visit place if you love wings. Make sure you come hungry!
Want to find a way to get more aluminum in your diet? Order Gator's Buffalo wings for takeout. Got through the top layer then found this. Wings, sauce, and aluminum foil literally melted together on the bottom layer of wings. First and last time at this place.
Valley Lodge Restaurant
Went to the Valley Lodge Tavern. We ordered some very nice drinks. Martini was well made. My wife enjoyed her wine. The waitress was welcoming and very nice. Great place for drinks. Sadly, I have to say the food was substandard. My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi and I ordered the ribs. Note: we were very surprised at how small the order of pasta was that came with the Shrimp Scampi. It seems like a side dish. Also the food had very little taste and seemed overcooked and kind of rubbery, especially ribs. Might want to talk to the cooks on that... However, the waitress was outstanding. Lastly, the atmosphere was wonderful, people seem very happy to be there.
It’s was a cool spot. The food was great. I had their salad paired with a red wine of theirs. Severs were on it. The semi-outdoor seating was nice and then I spent some time at the bar. Great service there too.
Tang Korean Restaurant (탕 한식당)
We have been to this restaurant 3 times within 3 months. One of my favorite dishes at this restaurant is the ox bone soup. The BEST! This type of soup if you cook it at home, so much work and take so long (at least 6-8hrs) to get a clear milky broth. We love the Bosam and Jokbal. The restaurant is modern and clean. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant Food: 5stars Service: 5stars Price: $$
We had an amazing dining experience at Tang Korean Restaurant last night (12/9/24). We ordered the $169.99 option, which included: - 10 pieces of chicken wings - Seafood pancake - Boiled pork trotters - Spring-mixed noodles with vegetables - Bossam - Budaejjigae Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were authentic and rich. The portions were incredibly generous—although the menu says it’s good for 3 to 4 people, it was more than enough for our group of 6 adults The staff was wonderful, especially our waitress, who was so friendly and attentive. She checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed, providing exceptional customer service. Tang Korean Restaurant is definitely a gem! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. We’ll absolutely be back for another great experience!
The Taco Place
The food is good, not excellent but the quantity they give you for the price makes up for any lack of flavor. I had the jerk chicken taco and they load them up. Very spicy and fulfilling. Worth a visit if you want Mexican. It's not an "eat in" location and it was cold inside. The young lady at register had a space heater to keep warm.
I been coming there for 18 months and had a wonderful experience with good food. I have told several people about this place. But my last two visits while receiving my order, I was not happy. As of 12/26/24 @ 2pm the order i placed were chicken and steak tacos. The meat was dry. I'm willing to try them one more time, but if all fails I will be moving on. The order was not pleasing today.
