China Wok
I used to love this place but not anymore. I got shrimp egg, foo young and as you can see on the pictures, my patties is real dark and they change their rice. It was very hard. I am very disappointed, especially since I almost spent close to $30 very disappointment.
The young man at counter was busy watching something and have to get his attention but he did answer all the questions about the food I asked about. I got lemon pepper wings they were crispy but wings are small. Fries are crinkle with no salt on them. General Tso was really good to me, fried nicely and a lot of sauce. The garlic broccoli was overcooked so I didn’t care for it. Overall I enjoyed it.
Happy Buddha
Yep they serve everything on styrofoam/plastic but the food itself was delicious. We at least got real silverware haha. We had Mongolian Tofu, Egg drop soup, Sesame chicken & the portions were large. I would definitely go back and my partner said he’d start recommending it to people. Just give them a try!
they used to give more food, so not only did they raise the price, but they give you less rice with the order. they used to fill it up under the chicken. now they got greedy and cheap. i understand cost of living goes up, but give me what i pay for please.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
I recently visited Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Stockbridge, GA, while in town and was looking forward to indulging in a buffet spread. Overall, my experience was a mixed bag. The food quality ranged from decent to hit-or-miss, which is common for buffets, but I had some standout items and some disappointments. Let’s start with the highlights: the ice cream was, as always, a crowd-pleaser! I also enjoyed the salad bar and the sweet potatoes, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The baked potatoes were another winner, and the rolls were soft and fresh. The fried shrimp with cocktail sauce was a nice touch, too. However, I did encounter several letdowns. The steak was surprisingly tough, making it hard to enjoy, and while the mashed potatoes were thick, the dark brown gravy didn't suit my taste. The macaroni and cheese, greens, and green bean casserole were definitely not up to par, and I found the cabbage to be unappetizing. Cheese pizza was decent enough, but it didn’t stand out. On the dessert front, the peach cobbler was delightful, especially when paired with ice cream. The sweet potato pie was also good, though it was very cinnamony. Unfortunately, the cheesecake didn’t impress me at all. Our server, Jesse, was accommodating and attentive with drink refills, but there were times when I felt she could have been a bit more proactive. The total cost for two people came to $44, which included tax—a reasonable price for a buffet.., I guess. One major downside was the state of the restrooms. The ladies' room had a very unpleasant odor, which was quite off-putting, while the men's restroom was in much better shape. It’s clear that the cleanliness of the facilities needs some attention. Overall, while there were some enjoyable dishes and a friendly server, the inconsistencies in food quality and the restroom situation left me feeling underwhelmed. If you're in the mood for a buffet, Golden Corral might hit the spot, but be prepared for some misses along the way. Also the server Jesse claimed she didn’t know the wifi password. I think that’s something every employee should know to accommodate guests and if they don’t know they should be able to instruct where the password can be found.
My waiters was wonderful, She was funny and had a sense of humor, There's not many golden corrals in My area, So I appreciate it
Pho Dai Loi
Pho came out very quickly. Service was prompt and friendly. One thing lacking was that there was not much meat/tendons in the pho. Overall, a good place to grab a quick meal if you are near the airport.
The Pho is delicious, the fresh rolls were so good and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food.
Thanh Thanh Restaurant
This restaurant is very extraordinary in the fact that you can get dishes here that you would only be able to get overseas the staff is very friendly and though it takes a while to cook everything from order I have no problem sitting and waiting the young ladies who take care of you a very very nice please understand that large groups of people come in to eat at this establishment so you must be patient but it is well worth the wait and if you are someone who travels a lot overseas eating a lot of unorthodoc dishes this is definitely the place for you
So yummy 🤤😋 real authentic Vietnamese food and the service is great
American Wings & Hibachi
Ordered some wings at 10-piece combo and a four piece chicken tender combo basically did not get for chicken tenders they refuse to correct it. They said it was correct. I do not recommend you eat here unless you're just really hungry. This is the third time they've done this with various orders so therefore I will not eat here again. So sorry they don't understand the importance a good customer service.
This is a small place but has good food. My intention was to get wings and hibachi chicken, but I had already gotten wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. They give a good portion for the money. I will definitely go back, if for nothing else, to try the wings.
Noodle
It's my 1st time here. Parking: Free parking, but it is hard to find parking in the front. Service: The gentleman was nice, who took my order. Atmosphere: It's small on the inside. Food: The food was delicious, but it is no wow factory.
I have loved this place for years. The Thai peanut noodle and spicy basil noodle are easily my favorite dishes. I'm a little disappointed that the interior has started to look run down and not in a good way. The food is still incredible - totally worth it.
Buddha's Delight
The food is great! Perfect portion sizes and very inexpensive. The service is quick amd polite. Only thing lacking is good ambience. The place has a faint cigarette smoke smell.
Noooo! This was the best Chinese restaurant around, it's sad to see it go. Best of luck in the future for the family that owned it.
China Cafe #3
Great food but mostly seems to be takeout. Only seen one couple dining in in all my trips. Everything I have tried here is good. The wife loves Triple Mongolian, my favorite is Moo Shu Shrimp. Really nice folks here. Great food, reasonable prices.
Ordered Hunan Chicken extra spicy, vegetable lo mein, fried rice and pork egg roll. The Hunan spice and sauce was good but the cook on the vegetables was over. The lo mein as well as fried rice had no true flavor but it didn't taste bad just no true flavor. As you can see in the picture the fried rice didn't have the usual vegetables or egg so what was suppose to give it flavor? The egg roll....um no...the search continues. The vegetables were over cooked one side crunchy one side soggy. The flavor wasn't good at all...wierd taste...almost couldn't finish it. I kept eating it though being the foodie I am I was trying to determine the flavor.Amazingly the sauce for it was tasty. The place had a terrible smell as well. Couldn't distinguish the source of it. Still on the search for good Chinese food in McDonough...if you find it first holla at me🙃
Corn Dogs by Mr Cow - Morrow
I recently had an outing with friends where we decided to sample Mr. Cow's Korean corn dogs, opting to try nearly the entire menu. With high hopes, we took our order home, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. Contrary to their appetizing appearance, the corn dogs were somewhat lacking in flavor. The cheese was overpowering for my taste, and the outer coating was fried to a degree that was a bit too crisp for my liking. While I'm happy to have given them a chance, based on this experience, I'm inclined to decline if they're offered again in the future.
WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER... DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. THE FOOD WAS AWFUL. The cashier messed up my order and ordered the wrong corn dog because he "thought he heard a #6 combo" I asked the manager could he just remake the correct order that I asked for and he told me no. I then proceeded to ask for my money back due to the product I originally ordered was not what I received and he told me no again... I spent $39 on hard garlic Parmesan fries and food I did not order!!!! The manager Austin needs to be fired! and the cashier Tim needs customer service training!! I will not be returning to this business worse service ever l
Eddie's 2 Go
I normally wouldn’t give a restaurant like this 5 stars, but not only was the food very good (4 stars) I gave them an extra star for the amount of food that they gave me. I had enough to eat two and a half good plates! No joke! I had Beef Lo Mein and Shrimp rolls. The food was fresh, hot and more flavorful than most other Chinese take-out spots that I’ve tried. I recommend giving them a try.
I got crab Rangoon. My total was 4.91 and it had to be $5 to use a card so I bought a lemonade as well. I got a fortune cookie and they had some creamy wafers that were really good. The crab Rangoon was amazing. It came with 6 but my six ate 3. But even the 3 I had were SOOO good I’d almost wished I hadn’t shared 😂. She was very friendly when I called in my order and it didn’t take long. 5-10 minutes. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend 💯✊🏾. Found a new spot for my crab Rangoon
Asian Express
Amazing value, Chinese food for the price! And you can’t eat it all! You’re gonna take it home for a second meal. friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Great place. Great food. Prices are incredible for these days. The food is always hot and fresh not like the panda express I love this place and you can order from the menu or take from the buffet.
