Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet
I think that they have a really interesting way that they do the crab legs where it is an extra price. I feel like that make sure that there is a quality crab leg. Some of the crab legs did have Barnacles and that was not ideal but overall they were pretty good and not overcooked. When they say it's all you can eat crab legs it's literally all you can eat and they do not limit you with that which is really nice. I can't say that any of their other food was really anything to write home about but just for the crab legs alone this place is totally worth it.
Hm to me, it was a pretty decent place. Nothing too special but nothing too bad either. It did have a good variety of foods, that's a plus. But the booths were dirty- both the seats and the table, as was the bathroom. They also charge 3 dollars for drinks now.
Asian Sauce Box
Having tried a few dim sum restaurants in Orlando, we were excited to try somewhere that involved a bit of an easier drive for us to get to. This restaurant is in a shopping area with ample parking very close to I95. We went early, and there was only one other party dining when we arrived. I hope lots more people give this place a try, because I loved it SO much and want them to do really well! We were seated at a comfortable booth and enjoyed the cozy ambiance and modern decor. The menu had everything we wanted, which was exciting. Each dish we ordered came out pretty quickly, and everything was piping hot and exceptionally high quality. The roast pork buns and the steamed egg yolk buns were some of the best we've had. The soup dumplings were perfect temperature and weren't ripped or broken, which can be rare at other places. The shrimp siu mai had whole chunks of tender shrimp. The portions were perfect, and we ended up with several leftovers to take home that heated up well later. I can't wait to go back again & again! Overall, this was such a good experience that we'll pick it over some of the popular Orlando places any time.
I cannot say enough positive things this place is adorable, the food phenomenal and authentic and the family that owns it gives excellent service. It was well worth the 2 hour drive from Jacksonville. I was so excited to have so many of my dim sum favorites but the XO pan fried radish cake was the favorite š š We also enjoy delicious HK style roast duck and boiled chicken with scallions and ginger IYKYK it was so good to have that dish again. It brought back so many memories of my time living China. Give this place a try you will not be dissappear. We will definitely be back.
Takara
We came here for our 5 year anniversary and as first timers. The place looked beautiful and thankfully there was no wait time. We got our drinks fast, and then our soup & salad came out quickly. The soup and salad were great! We got crab rangoons as an appetizer. Those were delicious! Our food came out shortly after. The food looked amazing. I got a chicken hibachi dinner plate and my partner got a Chicken & Shrimp hibachi dinner plate. However, I was disappointed in the taste of our entrees. The chicken had absolutely no taste at all, the noodles were okay, my partner liked the fried vegetables since I donāt eat them and the rice was tasteless as well. My partner liked the white sauce so he poured that and the soy sauce to give it some flavor and liked it. I added some soy sauces but it didnāt help too much. Overall, atmosphere was wonderful. Service was good but taste did not meet my expectations. We may come back in the future to try again but not anytime soon unfortunately.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of comfort and style. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience feel special. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, and itās clear the chefs take great pride in their work. I canāt wait to come back and try more from the menuāhighly recommend!
Chen You Restaurant
The people who run this are amongst some of the kindest restaurant owners Iāve met in Daytona. Finding genuinely delicious and well-priced food at restaurants is growing harder and harder and this is a restaurant that never does anything BUT exceed my expectations. The prices are super good given the huge portions Iāve received. I donāt typically care for Chinese food but Chen You does it differently in the best way possible. Itās to the point that they seem to have my voice recognized because of the amount of times Iāve come here. Iāve never liked chicken fried rice and the chicken fried rice here is not only tolerable but delicious. The establishment is always very clean compared to others as well. I tried the sweet and sour chicken last week and that was amazingly tasty and also had a large portion relative to the price. Yesterday I tried the beef lo mein and Iām back again today to get a second helping plus some other food for my friends. Again: great value, great food, great people. These are the kind of mom and pop shops/restaurants I want to support and will continue to support in the future.
I always say you gotta go to the hood to find a decent place to eat and I am always right. CASH ONLY and TAKE OUT spot with large portions of food for cheap. Service is fast and good. The food is pretty good and nothing was dripping in the bad like other Chinese restaurant places. Cool spot š
Chop Chop Restaurant & Karaoke Bar
We booked a karaoke room for my sister's birthday. We had the absolute best time! Family owned and operated. Food was great! Some of the best wings I've had. Service was friendly. Prices are reasonable. I give 5 stars on atmosphere for how comfortable the place is and the owner. We love a good hole in the wall hidden gem and this is one of those!
I'm so happy this restaurant was suggested by a local (Dan, at Three Brother's Boards - go check them out!), and I took their advice to dine here! I ordered an appetizer (the fried noodles and seaweed rolls, I don't remember the name) and the Bi-Bim Bap, and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Everyone was super nice, willing to answer any questions I had, and were very welcoming. I cannot wait until the next time I'm in town and able to eat here again.
Hibachi Express Japanese Restaurant
Some Hibachi places that I ordered from I get wayyy more shrimp for and order of shrimp and rice. I got seven pieces of shrimp for $15. The chicken and rice was ok I did get a lot of chicken. Iām just very disappointed because I felt like it shouldāve had some more shrimp! Iāll have to stick to my other hibachi place that normally order from. I wonāt order that anymore
Ummm... It was ok. Nothing to write home about. I feel like there are other hibachi places in the area that do better. Also, the woman working up front is a little bit short and rude with customers. I had to tell her about three times that I ordered online. She still couldn't find my order and then tried to act like it was my fault. When done, she walks your order up front, places it on a table and walks away. I wasnt impressed.
Dahlia Port Orange
The decor is well thought out, beautiful / bright. The service was good, The tacos were delicious and if you catch them on a Tuesday all tacos are half off which is a great deal. I ordered some queso as well truly was not a fan of it.. The Kiwi margarita made up for that though, overall good restaurant definitely recommend checking them out on a Tuesday for a great deal on tacos.
Excellent atmosphere, Excellent time, Excellent Food and staffā” was highly recommend from friends, we came from deland for my wife's birthday and boy did they show up and off! Gorgeous place, thanks for the birthday shots!(:
Yummy Rice Thai and Asian
Spur the moment late lunch that turned out to be pretty amazing. Highly recommend the pad Thai with shrimp. We showed up just a little before their lunch shift ended and they were more than willingly sat us down and served us. They were even taking their lunch break as we were leaving. The service was 10 out of 10 as well the food. Tasted fresh, and their hot chili sauce was out of this world. Only recommendation would be for them to sell their chili sauce to go, but I believe itās a private recipe. Havenāt been able to have Thai food in a long time, so this was an awesome treat.
This place has amazing food!!! If you have taste buds, you will love this place. :) We have made it a point to go to all the Japanese, Korean, Thai and other Asian restaurants and this one is on the top of our list. We randomly tried it after we left a Noodle restaurant extremely dissatisfied and hungry. The outside doesn't look like much but the food and the service is 100% that. Now we come once ot twice a week. Beef bulgogi and Red shrimp curry. I've been trying a few other dishes and they are absolutely delicious as well. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. I hope they never leave.
P.F. Chang's
Got the chefās meal, the strawberry lemonade was a blast! Had a wonderful experience, the server, Peter, was phenomenal. And a lovely manager. Would definitely come back here next time!
We cannot say enough good things about Erin, Tania, and the entire team at P.F. Changās for hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner! From start to finish, they were the epitome of professionalism and hospitality. Erin and Tania went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. They took care of all our needs effortlessly, making the evening stress-free and enjoyable for everyone involved. The highlight of the night was the custom-directed cake presentationāit was beautifully done and added such a personal, memorable touch to the evening. Our guests were blown away by the service, the food, and the seamless coordination. Thank you to Erin, Tania, and the entire P.F. Changās team for making our rehearsal dinner such a special and unforgettable experience. You truly set the tone for our big day, and weāll forever be grateful! Thai Kitchen By Saowanee
Best Thai food I have ever had!! Just went- did a āplate rotateā so I was able to try the Pad Thai, Red Curry, Yellow Curry, and Sunshine Pad Cashew Nuts- everything was absolute perfection!! Staff was so professional while still friendly and so pleasant. Very clean environment - I would eat here every day if I could!
1st time customer...restraunt was very busy, which is a really good sign. The food is amazing. We had the Spring rolls, Jasmine in the pool soup, and the Chicken Tom Kha soup all were delicious. Service was excellent.
China Restaurant
I was introduced to this place when I first moved here somewhere around two thousand... It was an instant hit arguably, the best Chinese food I've ever eaten anywhere. It's pretty nondescript and not much to look at. However, the food is fantastic in the pricing. Is reasonable. My singular complaint is they used to have a house ducks sauce, that they made there. You had to ask for it to get some. They no longer make it, and that hurts. Still, I seldom go anywhere else. And everyone that I turned on to it is thankful that I have. Also, it's a family-run establishment and I've watched their kids grow up over these last 20-some-odd years. In fact, the two young ladies who waited on me this last time might even be the proprietor's grandchildren at this point. If you enjoy Chinese food and you are here even just for the day I challenge you to eat at China and tell me you've had better elsewhere!
Very friendly. Great customer service. I got chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. They also put in a free egg roll!!! 10/10 tasty and fresh.
Hidden Treasure Tiki Bar & Grill
What a wonderful restaurant! First of all, the views are gorgeous right on the bay. Everyone there was so friendly. Great selection of drinks. And the food was amazing! It had such a laid back relaxed atmosphere. And there was live music that was just the right volume.
Family decided to go to local staple hidden treasure for our post 4th of July celebration. The atmosphere is very laid back with open deck areas with inside seating if your preference in either. We fortunately were there when live music was going on with a guitarist and vocals. This establishment is very easy going and relaxing vibe for all ages. Variety of alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic as well. The food quality is great considering youād expect bar food, not the case here. The food is the reason the restaurants have been a staple in port orange and Ponce inlet location. My significant parallel had the HT shrimp with grit cakes with Cajun sauce, dish was above delici. I had the gator platter with fries and hush puppy. Me being a big fried gator fan really thought the platter was crispy and flavorful combination platter. With two locations adjacent of the Ponce inlet of each other makes easy to dine one of the establishments. Definitely worth the dinner out with family or friends.
