I so love this small family owned business. I had to move away 7 1/2 years ago. I just moved back to So. Sarasota County and was so pleased to see it still open and the food taste the same. I love it, especially the spring rolls they are never greasy.

Service was good. Order was ready when I got there. Canton has always been my go to. After tonight not so much so. Food appeared and tasted old and dried out -not fresh. I got the Sesame chicken and Roast Pork fried rice and two egg rolls. Very dried out - not fresh at all. Leftovers are not even worth keeping. Sad and disappointing.

We are here visiting family and wanted something other than fast food and burgers. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM. Fresh food made to order and it was great. Very tasteful and the family is full. Thank you for the great experience we will be back.

It’s not often we find a good Chinese takeout here in Florida. This is a good one. The soups were a tasty start. The portions on the egg foo young were nice. Could not finish. Will be back. Returned for another visit. Had the chicken with cashews and hot n Sour soup. Soup was good. Chicken not to my liking. We were given cream cheese ragoon free. Nice surprise.

I came here for dinner tonight. I wanted something fast with veggies, so China Wok it was. I have been here before they seem always busy. I asked for my sauce on the side today with Chicken and Broccoli steamed as I got a small order for me only. It was just enough it also came with rice and got my chopsticks. Also, you get your fortune cookies. Prices ok here like any Chinese fast food and girl at register is friendly always busy.

Quite serviceable. Not gourmet sit down fine dining, and tables are basically used by folks waiting for their orders, but excellent for what it is, a strip mall take out joint. The spice dishes are generally set for an American palate, so I could see someone who has a need for heat being disappointed. (I don't, and I don't know what happens if you ask for it spicy.) Unlike the spice, they do not hold back on the sugar, if it comes with a sweet-ish sauce, it will definitely be quite sweet - i.e. bourbon chicken, even Gen. Tso's is more sweet than hot. The shop next door is a cigar bar, so for me, it's just as well it's take out. I don't smell it inside, but the sidewalk air is sometimes tainted and on those days I'm happy to let my nose reset on the drive home. And I do drive by a couple other places to get here. I don't understand the criticism of the egg rolls in some reviews. They may not be outstanding hand rolled gems, and I feel pretty certain they are from the same supplier that services most (all?) of the similar take out places locally, but they are well executed, always fried to order hot, and really rise above with a dab of the hot mustard (not the insipid packets, but the little cups of the "good stuff" - not on menu, just ask).

This is a great place to go if you want a good amount of Chinese food at a good price. It tastes good, better than most, and will definitely fill that craving when you have it. The food is always fresh and hot.

My wife and I have been doing PU from China Kitchen for at least one year. I am a bit ashamed in not giving them this well deserved review months ago. This is as good as it gets not only for Sarasota, but I would suggest the entire state. The Chinese Kitchen has all the standards, but we tend to order Egg Foo Young w/ either veggies or shrimp. The Lo Mein is cooked to perfection. The also make an authentic spring roll. Orders are ready within 15 minutes of placement. I believe small independents deserve good reviews when the provider does great food, service and fair pricing. China Kitchen delivers all three.

I’ve been visiting this place for years. Amazing food taste and quality. Very good service. Unbeatable price around 10$ for a whole box. And the best part NO tip prompt at checkout.

Food was phenomenal!!! My husband was super pleased with his food as well. He compared it to his favorite restaurant in Japan. It's our new favorite place.

I just had my first experience with this restaurant. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. My daughter and I each had an order of the Mei Fun. The restaurant was very clean, and bright. The staff were all friendly and efficient. We will DEFINITELY be returning.

The food is TERRIBLE!!!!! First time trying this place. And will be my last definitely. Ordered the War-Shu chicken (almond chicken). I cannot believe they actually don’t know how to make almond chicken. I wouldn’t even feed this garbage to my fur baby! Ate a few bites and threw the rest in the garbage. What a waste of money!!!!!!

After the hurricane, I found this to be the best Chinese food in town but lately it has been terrible. Today is the last day I will order from China Wokery. The food was dried out and tasted burnt and chewy..

They messed up my order. Ask for no peas, and got peas. We ask for spicy no spice. Food greasy and salty. So we will not be ordering from here anymore. Facility was clean and presentable. The staff was pleasant.

I just have to share how awesome my first experience was with this place. They accidentally got my first order wrong. I'm allergic to Peas so I couldn't eat anything in my container. I called and asked for just a container of chicken if possible, and I asked for the difference in price so i could pay for the upgrade. They told me not to worry about the difference! They not only gave me a new thing of General Tsos chicken but they also made me a container of chicken fried Rice without Peas!! I didn't ask them which was amazing, plus I love chicken fried rice, but I cant ever find it without peas. Thank you so much! Also my kids loved the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Lo Mein Noodles are good. I will definitely be back! Very Clean Place and all my food is delicious 😋.

Tried this out for the first time. Has good options. Heard it has new owners. Food had flavor. Was not packed and we were seated right away. Price was not bad. Will be back.

Service was quick and food was hot. Unfortunately there was too much coating on the sweet and sour chicken. It was difficult to find any chicken in the middle Also it would have been nice if they would put some peppers or onions in it. Just the fried chicken pieces and white rice.

I recently moved here from Brooklyn where there is Chinese food on every block. I always give a place a couple tries especially if they are close by because I love Chinese food. This place is has perfect portions, and his knocked it outve the park 3 times. I love their dumplings. One time I went and they were ULTRA busy and still were able to accommodate my picky requests. I hope they don't change anything. This place is good.
