Chinese Take-Out
Love this place! Been coming here religiously for 6 years and my kids love it!
Food is ok but Customer service is terrible. It seems to be a family establishment, however, parents and kids both deliver bad service. Dismissive and rude.
Taste of Punjab
Great Indian food. I had ordered mild biryani and it was perfect (normally other places don’t). It looks absolutely mouthwatering. The rice is perfectly cooked and fluffy, and the spices and herbs give it a beautiful golden hue. I can almost taste the fragrant flavors! The presentation of this biryani is stunning. The generous portion size and the way it's piled high make it look incredibly satisfying.
Out of the 11 or so Indian restaurants in the area, this is the best. Even though I can walk to a different Indian restaurant in a few minutes, I'd rather take the time to go to Taste of Punjab. The flavors are great. The bread is just right. The people are friendly. Taste of Punjab is a good restaurant to use for an introduction to Indian food. It's also great for a treat or as a regular weekly meal.
Aroma Indian Cuisine & Bar
Hemanth, was amazing. It was a kind, lovely run local family business. We are blessed to have them in our community. I highly recommend them for authentic Indian food, Buffet everyday from 1130-4pm and every day open until 2am. Open at 1130am 365 days a year. Best of luck with new venture.
We always have a great time here. Food tastes good and can get it account to your spice levels. They have an outdoor seating area and they open late. Good buffet selection do the week and it runs till 4pm. They don’t close mid day which is great. Will defiantly come back for more.
Panai Thai Restaurant
Had a nice lunch here. It was very quick, 35 minutes total, in and out. The service is really great. The lunch special was very reasonable, only $11 for meal and a small egg roll. However, the food quality reflected the lower cost. It was still good, but had less sauce, low quality chicken, etc. I would pay a little more for better quality. It’s not bad, just mediocre. Pad Thai was served with vermicelli noodles instead of larger flat noodles. The Thai tea was delicious too and very reasonably priced. Pad Thai, Panang Curry Chicken and Thai tea was $25 before tip.
If you are looking for some delicious Thai food, you will not be disappointed! Lots of selections and both of our meals were great. Just be aware that their hot spice is pretty hot. I need some ice cream now…
iThai & Sushi
Good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. It's a little bit of a small place, but the decor is pleasant and it has a charm to it. There's a separate sushi bar if that's your thing. Our server Marcus did a great job
This used to by my FAV place!! i used to get the "beef noodle soup" & shrimp fresh rolls on the regular. lately the soup has not been coming with ANY toppings.. which is the whole point of pho 🥲 no jalapeños, green onion, cilantro, mint leaves, hoisin or siracha 😴 and the noodles look like fettuccine. if i'm not mistaken i also received RAW shrimp IN my fresh rolls?! i wish i could add photos :( UPDATE: here are the photos & the only reason why i have veggies in my soup is because i personally cut them and added them.
Fish Bowl Kitchen
Always ssoooo much food, this is the best poke place in the area by far! Really it's the best poke place I have had anywhere, it's always fresh and I can get multiple meals out of one bowl. I get the raw salmon [sometimes double], avocado, seaweed salad, green onions, red onions, cucumber, cream cheese, fish eggs, volcano sauce, and crunchy onions on top of half white rice and half warm sweet potato noodles. Also, the cakes are great! I normally don't like cheesecake but the butter banana cheesecake was fantastic! Thank you!
My chicken butter bowl was fantastic!! My dtr also loved her hot honey bowl. We will definitely be back. Love the rare sodas too. I forgot the brand name. But that pineapple one is the bomb!!
Applebee's Grill + Bar
The food was good! Music blaring was awful and not conducive for an early dinner. Staff seemed overwhelmed, although the restaurant was not busy. The waiting for service, waiting for food, and lots of waiting for the check (felt like the song "Hotel California") So many people were complaining that we didn't have to say anything! We were disappointed 😞 overall! We used to come here all the time. I hope they take reviews seriously because I very rarely leave a 3 star, which was generous.
Adiela is truly one of the nicest people! She’s an excellent server—very attentive, accommodating, and polite. We were in a rush, and she took our order quickly and efficiently. Thank you for the great service!
Costas Restaurant
Fantastic food and service! We got the Shrimp Saganaki as an app and it was at least 3/4 pound of shrimp and flavorful with fresh tomatoes and feta. The crab stuffed flounder entree with roasted potatoes was so good with a nice size greek salad. The Greek sausage sandwich with fries was a nice portion too. Get a coupon from Pete on the corner of Dodacanese and Athens and get a free Baklava too! Attentive and friendly service was awesome.
we have been to many greek restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best. the portion sizes are so generous, and the food is amazing. very authentic, and the owner and his staff are so kind. i highly recommend!
Ocean Blue Asian Fusion
The sushi was pretty good. They all came fried for some reason. The scallop rice was absolutely delicious. The seaweed salad was very good as well. I would order from this place again. My family and I got a delivery so the food was not hot when it arrived. Wasn’t really expecting it to be hot but at least room temperature. It was pretty expensive. The udon noodles, were ok. There was not much flavor to them and the broccoli was undercooked, and the carrots were also undercooked as well. The miso soup was super salty. The sushi was really good though.
The sashimi was AMAZING!!!!! We also were able to create our own sushi roll and it was delicious and fun!
Blue Sake Thai - Sushi & Bar
Super friendly service and comfortable atmosphere with good sushi and soup. I crave Tom Yum soup and can't say no to sushi :) I enjoyed some Thai beer with the above and a spicy tuna roll (rice could use a touch more vinegar).
I have been to this restaurant twice within the same day of my first visit. I was very impressed by the level of customer service because I definitely did not feel like a number. The first time I went there was with my mother, stepfather and sister. I wish we were there to celebrate the life of somebody very special to us. It turned out that our server had been the server for our late friend and his family several different times. We passed on the news of his passing and our server was very noticeably touched, and think this very much for letting her know. The atmosphere of this restaurant when you walk in is like going into a different era if you will. I felt like I was on an episode of Doctor Who because I was just surprised of the atmosphere and the decor, and most importantly the prices! This place is very affordable and you get very decent portions for the price of the food. I felt like we were eating at a place that inflation barely affected. I can tell you this much when I was looking at the menu on some of the different things for less than 10 bucks you can get your drink and either an appetizer or a small meal and get filled or at the very least satisfy that hunger itch. I would encourage everybody who likes Oriental food, and Sushi to check this place out in the city of Dunedin Florida.
Shaker & Peel
Stopped in to get takeout, after shopping, but decided to dine outside and order a cocktail. Spencer was outstanding, super attentive, friendly, and efficient. Cocktails are always a delight at this location, and the Brussels are another level. The only reason I give "atmosphere" 3 stars is I wish they (like most) had an area with a bar that serves outdoors with TVs. I think they would draw an even bigger crowd for those with pets and sport lovers (for games).
This was my first visit, and I was thoroughly impressed! The margarita with salt foam was absolutely fantastic, and I also enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer and the Kobe cheeseburger taco. Both dishes were incredibly delicious, and I would definitely order them again. Overall, a solid 5-star experience all around!
Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Clearwater
Went here with family on Sunday to celebrate a birthday and two “half birthdays”, an event for Kobe club members. A $25 discounted meal for three to enjoy. We actually had ten of our family present so basically a private table. Just about 10 minute wait wasn’t bad. Not real busy at 12:30 on Sunday but got very busy after we arrived. We were seated and brought drinks and orders taken. Shortly after hot soups, basically broths, were brought and were great. Shortly after salads were brought. A few of us requested chopsticks, just to keep in practice. Admittedly a slower pace of eating. Then our chef came and introduced himself, then went over our meal choices for verification. One grandson has an allergy to shellfish, so his and another grandson’s steak was separated from shrimp and scallops. The chef was very much a showman. Aside from the usual onion volcano, his drumming on grill caused the onion stack to smoke and move across the grill. Nice. Since our granddaughter was celebrating here 22nd birthday, he made a heart out of the fried rice. Rice, then veggies, then noodles were served then our meats. Several had chicken, two had steak, two ordered shrimp and I alone got the scallops. All were delicious but my scallops were the top. Large and a lot of them. I did share a couple with my wife and still had a meal to bring home. Dinner and a show! Great! A bit more expensive than our usual Sunday lunch but worth it for special occasions. Now whose birthday / anniversary is next?
Here’s a polished review for your experience at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse: Amazing Birthday Dinner at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse! I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in Clearwater, Florida, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the shrimp and teriyaki chicken, paired perfectly with flavorful vegetables, noodles, and their signature onion soup. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the staff made the night feel extra special. The chef’s hibachi skills were not only impressive but also super entertaining. It’s the perfect spot for a celebratory dinner or just a great meal with friends and family. Highly recommend Kobe Japanese Steakhouse for a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to go back!
