China Wok
First time here at this place wanted to try it park my truck close by so me and the wife tried it . I got the garlic chicken was very good and the won ton soup It’s was very good. and will definitely be back a lot of food big portions .
I love this place. The food is really good, super consistent and never wrong. The workers are friendly and hard working. I have been going here for many years. I love too many menu items to list but the pork egg foo young is a favorite as is the general tsos chicken.
China Garden
Really not bad for a hole in the wall place. It’s very basic seating. Lunch dishes are $7.65 which is cheap these days considering how much costs have gone up. People were friendly. I had the egg foo young and it was okay. Could’ve used a tad bit more salt but it was cooked very well. Didn’t taste burned or anything. Fried rice was quite bland. Onions were undercooked.
Food was overly priced. Ordered from the lunch menu, pricing was under $6 for the lunch menu, I also ordered an order of beef wontons, which was $3.90 and had it delivered to my work. There was a $3 delivery fee. The total came out to be $18 and some change. It was delivered on time, and I gave the driver a total of $25. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce, but it wasn't what I ordered. The wonton shell was hard. I was really disappointed, will not order from them again.
Panda Express
They had most of everything hot and ready, the staff was complementary and the store was clean. We usually get the honey shrimp and this time had another choice of firecracker shrimp also. I thought they were both good and even better combined with the rice. I good experience in a hurry with a musical down the road to catch....
I ordered the cream racoon and asked for sweet and sour sauce not one came in the meal I called the restaurant and was told they ran out well that sounds like a personal problem you should advertise that when seeking an item that you won't be able to fulfill. The girl on the phone was nasty and disrespectful will not be ordering from here again as this is not the first time
China One of Pinellas Park
Not bad. Food is okay. I ordered a chicken lo men combination dinner which came with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was delicious, the rice was very good too. My lo men was okay but it had a burnt flavor to it and a lot of my noodles looked like they had been chopped up which I never experience with lo men when I’ve ordered from other places. Otherwise, I think if you are hungry they are reasonable priced and the food is okay. One thing I thought was a little weird is that the guy who rang me up held my credit card until I put a tip and signed the receipt. I didn’t like that. I don’t normally tip if I’m picking up the food and I felt like I had to. Additionally there are very few tables so it’s almost like they don’t want you to sit and eat. Last complaint is that there were no sauces available (duck sauce, soy sauce) and no fortune cookies. :(
I've gotten take out here an average of every two weeks for about 17 years now and I've never had a bad order yet. Always seems fresh always hot super amount for the price too, I have no complaints. I don't order the same thing either.
New China Restaurant
Been here plenty of times for takeout. The food is normally great. This time my food was iffy. Spent $36 my krab rice didn't have crab. My house rice wasn't housed. Don't use your credit card here because they tip themselves without permission. She gave herself a $5 tip for nothing.....won't be going back. They just lost me as a customer 🤬🤬🤔.
Was a steady customer. Ordered wonton soup. Told others how they filled to the top with wontons and broth. It was so delicious. Last time I went there , me and a friend, we both ordered the same thing, two large wonton soups. To my disappointment, there were only about 5 wontons. Went to the owner and complained that the container was only half full. This was for two separate orders. She got a small bowl and put 2 wonton in it with some broth. I gave it back to her and told her we'd never be back. I've kept that promise.
China King Restaurant
One of my favorite places to get to-go-food. Haven't ever had a bad meal. Closed on Mondays, Tue ,Wed,, Thur close at 9:30PM
This place is by far one of my favorite Chinese restaurants to go to. The food never disappoints and the prices are responsible much on par with other restaurants. I love that they give you a free item depending on the amount you spend. Tonight I got dinner for me and my girl and managed to get 2 free egg rolls with our food simply for spending just over 20 bucks. This place is always my go to spot when I want Chinese and if you haven't tried them give them a shot.
Hibachi Buffet (St Pete)
I needed food after flying in and wanted something quick and hopefully good. SO glad we stopped here! We have stayed away from buffets since a couple near home that we used to enjoy kind of went down in quality. I'm VERY happy that we took a shot with this one. Everything was incredibly flavorful. I think this is the best buffet I have had. I love Asian food and eat it regularly. This food tops any of the regular places I order from. I wish I lived closer! PLEASE, be sure to stop here! You will not be disappointed! Great food, friendly and fast service and the price is well worth it. Thank you for a wonderful welcome to the area!
The sign changed so we thought they had new owners so maybe it was better but no. The food was old and cold and what was warm was tasteless or bad. General Taos chicken was stringy and inedible I had to spit it out. The fried dough was raw inside, rice was old, lomein was oddly flavored, green beans cold, sweet and sour chicken cold, fried shrimp bone cold. Terrible egg roll is just wet unseasoned cabbage. The ice cream door makes an extremely loud noise that makes everyone turn to look whenever you open it and it was popular so our dinner was punctuated by screeching. Leaving this review mostly to remind myself to never come back.
Wok & Roll
Great food and customer service. The food was fresh. The only thing that was not so pleasing was when I walked in there was someone laying down on one of the chairs with there shoes off and feet up. Pretty disturbing to see that when walking in to grab food .
Great food! Large portions. I order a lot from this location. I have never had issue with this location. Very clean inside. Love this place. You all are doing a GREAT job!
Largo Hibachi Buffet
I can't fathom the mindset of those leaving negative reviews. In this era of soaring prices across the board, this restaurant is truly a conscientious merchant for still offering high - quality dishes in great variety at such prices. I'd say the taste is above average too. It's genuinely worth recommending.
This place is absolutely amazing. You can sit down and enjoy all these amazing Chinese cuisines at a really affordable price. And the food is also extremely delicious. So, if you're in the area, please come here.
China 1
Tried this place for the first time while down in Clearwater, I ordered an orange chicken combo platter which came with orange chicken, fried rice, and an eggroll. I upgraded to beef fried rice and asked to make it dark. The rice I got was a yellow rice, which I’ve never seen in my life from a Chinese restaurant. The orange chicken was very tasty and good. The fried rice was dry and no flavor. The employees were friendly open kitchen looked clean. The waiting area was clean also. I would try them again, but would pass on the fried rice. They deserve 3 1/2 stars which is not an option so they’re getting three
I've had my share of the lunch menu and haven't been feeling disappointed l The portions are decent and the NY style food Is always excellent. The place is family owned so the whole family works there and it's also not too pricey.
China Crossings
This place only gets 1 star due to me having to choose 1 star or more & because the spring rolls were good. However, I will NEVER return here. The lady at this establishment is RUDE! If you plan to pay with card, don’t! She’s added higher tip amounts to my total charging more & will literally yell at you for catching her making attempts to steal money from you & getting caught in lies! Poor customer service & acts as though she doesn’t want to assist you, yet wants your money. I can go on & on, but this lady is clearly troubled so no need to waste more of my time.
I went for the first time to try something new. There was a nice young boy taking my order trying to help me decide what to get then a angry lady walked up and told me I was taking too long although there wasn't a line behind me and I had been there less than 2 minutes. If it wasn't for the nice young boy, I would not have supported this business. The food was cool but that little lady is mean af lol IDK if I will return just because of her.
Great Wall
Overall, this place was disappointing. It's not the worst I've ever had, but I definitely won't be ordering from here again. The veggie egg rolls were overcooked and VERY dry. The pork egg roll was okay. The cashew chicken was slimy and unsatisfying. The szechuan beef was so-so; it had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all and had a strange, almost mushy texture. The fried rice was decent, but some of it was missing. It wasn't terrible, but I definitely wouldn't call it good either. It's a shame that it's so difficult to find decent Chinese food around here.
This place has great food and fast service. The menu and flavor, is definitely New York style Chinese food. I had fried wontons and the were incredible! Perfectly crispy, descent amount of meat and seasoned perfectly. I also had the fried rice house especial and it was exactly how I remembered the house special from growing up in Queens, NY! Lots of protein, vegetables and the rice was perfectly seasoned. This is definitely going to become my Chinese spot here in St.Pete. I highly recommend this restaurant.
