I really try not to write negative reviews but it’s the day after and I still can’t get over whatever this was. I ordered Bourbon chicken and I got this. Didn’t look, smell, or taste like anything close to the sort. The sauce had the consistency of goo and the chicken was repulsive. I took one bite out of benefit of the doubt and it went right into the garbage. Chicken didn’t even taste cooked. Check your food before you leave with take out.

This restaurant sells the best Chinese rice I have ever eaten. It’s very tasteful. Wow!

NOT FOR THE FAST FOOD CHINESE PALATE. REAL Chinese food dining enjoyment. :) Great hidden gem, go-to authentic kinda feel. I checked out the menu online first. Got the thousand egg Congee. It was fantastic! My first time trying Congee and thousand egg. Next time I'll try more things on the menu since I was short on time. Everything was tasty. Would recommend. I also Loved the videos playing in the background that were in Mandarin with subtitles. Cozy feel. Update. March 2025 Had the shrimp fortune bags Dim Sum and honey garlic chicken entree. Mild flavors but tasty. Worth adding to your list

Just bought some honey wings .and they put agave instead of honey. I am a chef I know the difference. They cut 4 of the smallest wings i had ever seen in my entire life right in front of my eyes, claimed to be 8 pcs. And don't mentioned how old ,fried and stale they were. Thise wings been cook few days before. It's a waste of money. Just moved to the area. First time there and it will be my last.

I bought 3 dinners at China Wok tonight. The honey chicken was not the regular honey chicken, it was more of a sweet sour sauce to be poured over fried chicken bites. The chicken from the chicken & broccoli dinner was stiff & chewy & very dry, no gravy at all. The Bourbon chicken & the boneless spare ribs was also very stiff & hard. I've ordered from this restaurant many times before & never had a problem. I really don't know what happened here tonight. I will never order from this restaurant again.

The atmosphere was dry , the chicken needs to be fried harder and less grease on the egg rolls , the flavor of the honey garlic wings I ordered was bland with no flavor , for spending over 16 dollars and you wanting a “TIP” the food needs better quality , Thank you God bless have a great day

this is my favorite place every time my family orders it. I’m so excited the crab Rangoon is to die for. It’s perfectly creamy and always comes out completely crispy even on the bottom by the filling and that’s like my main thing I love and every time I feel a little bit of sickness, wonton soup is a way to go and I absolutely hate when it just tastes horrible and the meat taste old and there’s not enough dumplings in there. This place gets it spot on truly hits the spot when I’m sick and you get like a little zing from the green onions and everything and it’s perfect. Everything is a perfect amount

I usually ordered the roast pork fried rice with no vegetables and they gave me fried rice with vegetables and no pork I'm never going to this place again

My husband ordered a shrimp fried from here and the shrimp looked like bait Shrimp.....SMALL!!! To make it even worse, there was only FIVE shrimp at the top of the container and that was it. Never coming back here. Do not recommend.

The horrible owners are half cooking food but overcharging people. Then when I called to complain he hung up in my face. This restaurant needs to be shut down can’t imagine how they still doing business. They rushed my food order and then refused to fix the issue. I’m calling the county inspector because this is disgusting food and service.

First time getting takeout and I was happily surprised. I found the flavors of the food (Schezwan beef) fresh, the vegetables had a nice crisp bite and the sauce had a rich taste. I am not a connoisseur of Chinese takeout but the flavors of this one set it apart from the "usual" taste of the takeouts I have tried in the past. Give Golden City a try, especially if you go to Home Depot or the medical center on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

Great and clean food. Cannot believe I've been close to this and haven't tried it. We got Egplant and Vegetable Lo Main to go and llloovveedd it. Unfortunately, no pictures because we ate all the food! Will post the next time we go in to eat. Update: yes we are back and I cannot describe how it felt to eat here after 3 (yes 3) doctor and hospital appointments.... Just divine. Had an amazing supper with my wife, where the shrimp dishes were so perfect, the soups yummy inbthe beginning as well as the sweetness of the ice cream in the end. Thank you so much for everything, will be back very soon...

Used to really like it here. But they keep raising prices...same basic meal was about $25, now it's $45! We're looking for another place...

I’ve been eating here for years and the food is usually between 3 to 4 stars. With most meals you get soup, an egg roll and white rice ($1 up charge for fried rice). It’s your typical Chinese fare. On my last visit I ordered the seafood noodle soup for $15. It was contained like 6 shrimp and 2 scallops. The shrimp weren’t deveined and the soup broth was bland and mediocre. I wish it was better because I do like this place and they’re always crowded.

Tried for the first time. Love that it’s old school - fried wonton chips and duck sauce, hot tea, soup, egg roll and ice cream with your entree. We had Singapore noodles and chicken with eggplant. Generous portions and great flavor. Love the silver trays!!

This place is incredible! We absolutely love the food here—it’s hands down the best Chinese food in the area. Honestly, I don’t understand why they have so many negative reviews. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for over 4 years, and the food has always been amazing. The wonton soup is phenomenal, the broccoli and beef are delicious, and the chicken on a stick is absolutely on point. Even the fried wings are fantastic! If you’re considering this restaurant, I highly encourage you to give it a try. In my experience, it’s totally worth it and consistently delicious. We always order take-out, and it never disappoints!

By far the best and freshest in the area! My personal favorite is General Tao and the owners run the show. Amazing team and great lunch and dinner specials. Check them out, you will be back :)

We ordered delivery and everything was accurate and fresh. The delivery person named Ernest was friendly and kind and we have ordered from here 3 times so far without any issues. We are new to this area and this is our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Florida. They were on time and listened to accommodate everything we ask for without any problems. We prefer steamed options which were great. You won’t be sorry if you try this place. We haven’t eaten there but they are great at delivery. Thank you Ernest. Food was complete garbage. Believe the other reviews about bad food. Specifically, we ordered beef and broccoli dinner dish that comes with the rice and an egg roll. It was absolutely DISGUSTING, I mean awful. The second dish was fried chicken wings with fried rice, which was simply edible at best. NOTHING WAS GOOD, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE. Believe all the bad reviews about the food ,being nasty as hell. Don't waste $30 on 2 plates of food, like we did.

Seems like everyone has a different opinion on their favorite Chinese restaurant. Chinatown is in a Publix shopping center on Hagen Ranch Rd in Boynton Beach. It’s a relatively small eat in restaurant nice enough but nothing fancy. I ordered General Taos chicken and was immediately impressed when our waitress asked regular or spicy. I ordered spicy and it was mildly spicy but excellently prepared. Chicken was appropriately bite sized, tender, sauce was tasty. The $15.95 dinner special menu includes egg roll, soup, entree and ice cream dessert. My fry has shrimp in lobster sauce and cleaned the plate! My dinner was enough to take home for a second meal. Not sure if there’s an early bird menu but definitely a very good valve for $16! We were lucky to be seated immediately at on of the last tables and surprisingly the restaurant was quiet enough to carry a conversation. Chinatown will be on my restaurant rotation.

Was with a friend and decided it’s was time for Chinese food. Small restaurant with a nice menu. Anything that you want is here. And delicious they also have a sushi menu, so have fun. Mix it up whether you dine in or takeout you’re good to go enjoy.

Food is very good for Chinese takeout in Florida. I second that it reminds me of takeout places in New York. Though we are not in New York and this place could use a serious makeover on the inside. I got the sesame chicken and substituted lo main for the rice that came with the dinner special. That was $3 extra charge. The meals are really big and you can split them. But they don’t heat up well the next day. I liked how the chicken was all white meat. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork egg roll was crispy and had a great flavor. I learned you must put your order in on the phone before you come. And also like all other reviews you end up waiting 20min once you get there. It’s a long line and one woman at the counter. You can take as many fortune cookies as you want but the humidity makes them super stale and they are not good. The flavor of my dish was really on the sweet side. The noodles were even sweet. I had horrible indigestion the next morning. When I’m in Florida and my family want Chinese this is the place to go to though, I tried some others and no place in the area has better American Chinese takeout. Dinner special is a great deal.
