CHINA TOWN RESTAURANT
If you in the area you cant miss stopping in. The food was fantastic fresh and well seasoned. Customer service was great I came in with my 1 year old and dine in he made a mess and when I asked for a broom the lady told me not to worry expressing how she has 4 children of her own and understands kids are messy. This is truly a great place to stop.
We pretty much get the same thing every week: orange chicken, wantons, and egg rolls. The food is AMAZING! You wouldn't expect it because the store front doesn't necessarily look great (it's a little run down to be honest). The food on the other hand is exactly what New York style Chinese takeout should be. Did I say it was AMAZING? The girl taking orders is pleasant enough. You can tell when she's having a rough day based on how she answers the phone, but after coming here countless times, it's endearing. Besides, I think it's just her and two other guys running everything so a little stress every now and then is more than expectedāand excusable given the excellent food and overall service. The place is packed every Tuesday night by 6:00, but the food is always ready, nice and hot, within 10 to 15 minutes. The portions are also huge. Our order feeds two people twice, and prices are cheaper than the other takeout places on West Osceola. Plus, they have fried crab sticks which is pretty hard to find in Florida for some reason. Great food, great prices, great service!
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
This is a good, different fast food restaurant, with a variety of dishes, they have vegan options and also dishes for kids. Customer service was good, the cashier was very patient with me and help me to choose a dish it was originally chicken Lo Mein but I had tofu instead of chicken
Wish I could show you a picture of the food, but it was so good we gobbled it up! Thank you for the amazing greeting and service, Nalani. Daniel and Dennis provided excellent service too and delicious food!
Chino Rico & Rico Tea (535/Vineland Rd)
As a puertorican that grew up going to a Chinese restaurant once a month in PR, I was so excited that I found a place that I would be able to get a little taste from home. Unfortunately this wasnāt it. Not sure if it was the cook that day or if they just served us what was left over but it was super disappointing. The only food that seemed fresh enough and tasted great was the orange chicken. Everything else, specifically the mofongo was bad. Even the limber was bland.
To expensive for a fast food, nice clean enviroment, front lady is amazing. Food good. Instead coming weekly with my family of 4 I have to come once a month.
China Gourmet
This is the classic no thrills, strictly takeout⦠dare I say, NY style takeout? Home made egg rolls (I didnāt even know this was a thing?) These ppl have the *best* egg roll Iāve ever had honestly. Not chewy and thick dough. Light, crispy and flavorful. We stick to our go-to combos. (Boneless ribs with lomein and General Tso chicken with fried rice. Not pictured is the cheese ragoons and wonton-egg drop (mix) soup.) Everything was good, great actually. Nothing was overly oily or over salty. None of the meat felt dried out or⦠recooked. The boneless ribs were nice thick cuts not just small burned ends. The chicken was consistent proportion pieces which I appreciated because usually itās random different sizes increasing in size as you get to the bottom lol. Oh and, they pack these containers to the brim. I mean both of our meals were boating at the top š easily 2-3 possible portions per meal.
Im born and raised NEw Yorker And Iāve been searching for some good Chinese food and I finally found my spot- the food here was very flavorful especially the wings šš»āāļø they actually give you full wings and they make normal size egg rolls not those tiny egg rolls the other restaurant cook- I definitely recommend this place if your looking for some good Chinese food
VILLA CANTON CHINESE RESTAURANT
Before writing this review I read what others wrote. I always find it interesting to compare my experience with other people's experience. ATMOSPHERE--My experience was terrific. When my wife and I arrived the place was fairly full. It was Superbowl Sunday and they had the game playing on the televisions. But it did not seem like anyone cared about the game, if they did they probably would have been home with friends or at a sports bar partying. We were greeted right away, and asked if we had a table preference. The table was clean and the seats comfortable. Our waitress was attentive, but not intrusive and always smiling. She was very pleasant. The restaurant is in a strip mall and is bright and cheery. They have a back room that was being prepped for Valentine's day with pink lighting, hearts and other decorations. It looked cute. FOOD FIRST IMPRESSION--I was skeptical. I began by ordering a beer, and then looked at the appetizers. It was then I noticed...Egg Roll...pork, veg cheesesteak, shrimp. CHEESESTEAK EGG ROLL, uh oh I thought...never saw a cheesesteak Egg Roll on the menu in NYC's Chinatown, San Francisco's, Chinatown or in Toronto or D.C. nor any other Chinese restaurant anywhere. So, I ordered it! I had to try a cheesesteak Egg Roll. And guess what? It was good. A little small, but crispy and tasty...and it did taste like cheesesteak in a light, flaky, crisp dough...if only it was about 4 times bigger. FOOD OVERALL--Everything was very tasty and perfectly seasoned. Some of the dishes were a little different than I am accustomed to eating, but that did not diminish how good they were. For instance, the Chicken Lo Mein had some green pepper in it, and the Fried Rice was lacking some scrambled egg and bean sprouts. We had Fried Dumplings...portion was six large dumplings that were great, especially when dipped in the sauce. We had Cheesesteak Egg Roll...small, but really good. Pork With Garlic Sauce...really tasty with some heat and a ton of pork---a lot of pork--nice garlic flavor and a perfect amount of vegetables. It was a very large serving and came with white rice...I want more right now. Chicken Lo Mein...perfect. Had the greasy flavor and texture (a good thing if you know good lo mein) that can't be beat, and had the perfect balance of noodles to veggies and chicken. (Just went to fridge and had a fork full of it cold--it is so good.) And we had Pork Fried Rice...I am so mixed on this. It had the perfect NYC fried rice taste (and was brown as it should be--not yellow), it was not salty nor did it need extra salt--the taste was perfect--BUT--the rice was slightly under cooked, (which may be the norm because at least one other review said the same thing), and it needed some egg and bean sprouts. Villa Canton--PLEASE COOK THE RICE A FEW MINUTES LONGER!!! EXPERIENCE OVERALL--I live about 35 minutes away, and I am often in Villa Canton's area (it is on route to many places I go to in Kissimmee/Orlando). So, I will be back...a lot of times!
Review for Villa Cantón Villa Cantón is a fantastic restaurant that offers delicious Chinese food with a unique Venezuelan twist. The flavors are outstanding, and every dish is carefully prepared to perfection. The service is excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Itās definitely a place worth revisiting. Highly recommended!
Pa' Los Chinos Food Truck
So far everything about it was amazing, best food Iāve had in a while. Brought the nostalgia. It was a bit messy on the plate but the taste makes it forgettable in my opinion.
me and my boyfriend love going to the food trucks on the weekends . we tried this new food truck and it was super good . the menu is in both english and spanish so that was a great thing . my bf got the orange chicken and i got the pepper steak . gotta say best orange chicken i tasted i kept picking at my bfs food š«£. i really loved the fries even tho they were set for 20 minutes because we took it home they were oddly really good when āsoggyā. we even had leftovers because the platter was large and itās still delicious the next day.
Citrus Garden Asian Diner
I have loved Chinese food for 50 years and I have tasted from best to worst. My favorite places for Chinese are NY and Miami but I live in Poinciana. Lol I order a pair of spring rolls and they were pinky size ( a literal joke). . The sweat & sour pork was bland, the Tso Generalās chicken was Pandaās quality š¤®, the servings were ok and the rice was my only complimented item because they use bean sprout, but still not better than Lin Garden. This was my first and last attempt at this Chinese restaurant. Nevertheless: If you must order from Poinciana - go to Lin Garden and save yourself a huge disappointment. Are there better Chinese? YES- but not in Poinciana. Please share if you know a good one- even if itās an hour away Thank you
Need to make a purchase of $5 or more to use your card which was slightly annoying. Other than that I haven't eaten here in years and the food is still good.
Poinciana Chinese Restaurant
Food here is trash. Spend so much for so little. And the food has 0 flavor. Ordered general tsos chicken looks like they forgot the general š shrimp with broccoli and got 3 misly shrimp. More broccoli then anything. Sweet and sour sauce was watered down. I'm glad I didn't tip. They suck. Never again ordering from here.
I had three meals delivered. After a few bites, I threw all the food in the trash. Everything was chewy, hard and dry. It all tasted like food that was cooked earlier in the day and left under a heat lamp. I have never eaten Bourbon chicken with a coating on the chicken which was very hard and when removed revealed very little chicken. The Korean ribs were more bone and fat than meat and were chewy and dry. Tender and moist would have been nice. The beef dish was ok but not delicious. The white rice was dry. The fried rice was also dry and lacked vegetables. Finally the egg drop soup was very thick and not pleasant to eat. So I will not be ordering any more food from this restaurant. It was my first and my last time.
China Wok
All the time for many years we have bought from here and have never had any issues. I feel, in my humble opinion, all these negative reviews are from newvies in the area who want their food for free. This is a family business and they are great. Stop complaining go elsewhere.
I order a sesame chicken and it was dry and crunchy and I told her through the phone to please make my food fresh and she start laughing that they make fresh food no they donāt look at this š”š”š”
East King
My new favorite Chinese take out! their pan fried wontons in garlic sauce is incredible! It is much more like a peanut sauce but sooooo good. Beef with mushrooms also good. I have loved everything I got from here and have gone back many times. My order has been correct every time.
First time here and new to the area! :) Ordered two lunch specials (that come with pork fried rice and a soda), the Pork and Vegetables for the Mrs and the Szechuan Chicken for me, Crab Rangoonās and a large hot and sour soup. Pork and Vegetables 5/5 - Char Siu Pork is wonderful with a nice mix of fresh vegetables. Would order again. Szechuan Chicken - 4/5 - Thinly sliced chicken with peppers, onions, carrots and celery are nicely cooked. Veggies have a nice crunch, which is appreciated because it shows freshness. The sauce is not spicy at all. I need to ask them for Asian spicy in the future. Pork Fried Rice - 3.5/5 - w/ peas, onions, carrots and minced char siu. Decent and pairs well with the entrees. Crab Rangoon - 4/5 - Wife enjoyed these. More pieces than expected and she said that they tasted like real crab which she enjoys a lot. Hot and Sour soup - 3/5 - Bummed about this one. Edible but it is not spicy or sour. Interestingly, it is sweet, which boggles my mind. Would not order again, which is sad because this is my favorite soup to order. Overall, happy that we tried this place out. Looking to go back in the future to check out a few of their other items.
Paā Los Chinos Restaurant Davenport
Really enjoy the food it was really good. The pepper steak, the spare ribs and the garlic tostones were delicious. The fries were little pale but still good. Prices and Waiting time was fair. Everything was clean definitely going back. šÆ recommended š
So yesterday was my first time at this restaurant. I've heard great things from friends, stating that their food is just as good as the Chinese restaurants in P.R. I ordered 3 piece chicken combo. I also added shrimp to the fried rice (it costs extra) and also ordered a side of tostones with garlic sauce. The food was good. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The fried rice was just okay. The tostones were okay as well, although I think these are the frozen kind and not made from scratch. That makes a big difference in taste. I might go back to try a different menu item. One thing to note is that the menu prices are on the high end for a Chinese food restaurant.
