Ok food. It was hot and fresh. I got my go to: General Tsoa with fried rice. Pet peeve: the paper-towel dispenser doesn’t work in the bathroom. There is a roll of paper towels on top of the dispenser. The photos on the menu board need to be updated.

Horrible customer service Ordered on door dash, pork fried rice with egg roll and received no pork in fried rice or egg roll. I attempted to eat the rice and it was hard and not Edible. Called to ask why the mistake happened and was told I ordered incorrectly didn’t even offer to fix mistake. Door dash clearly has that pork fried rice would be given and I paid extra to make sure it was pork fried rice and not white rice. $2 up charge on app. Manager said for me to cancel my order when it was already delivered. She knew that wouldn’t be possible. She said I made the mistake and there’s nothing she would do to correct it. Her biggest mistake was not caring that I’m pregnant because now she lost a customer and I will never be returning.

East Gourmet

I was scared to eat here after reading some of the reviews, but I tried it anyways. I got the sesame seed chicken with fried rice, no pork and no peas. I really liked the chicken. The rice resembled more of a Spanish rice than a Chinese rice, but it was still good.

I wanted to give this place hope since they are on the cheaper end of local Chinese American spots. But I should have prepared myself for the meal I was about to receive... Prior reviews left me wondering if I was about to have a good experience or a not so pleasant one. I can honestly say that East Gourmet delivers mixed reviews, and that is spot on! The menu is limited compared to other Chinese American spots, but not too far out of the ordinary. The egg roll was OK, but left a bad aftertaste. (You'll see the common theme shortly...) the chicken wings were again, just OK, but also left a bad aftertaste and were lacking much flavor. The wonton soup was seriously lacking flavor (thank the heavens I keep msg on stash) and the actual wonton left a weird aftertaste...again! The beef lomein was lacking and the beef was also on the lower end of quality. Gray and flavorless and as you may have guessed it, left a bad aftertaste. The same can be said for the pork spareribs dinner combo (which was small and compared to a "lunch sized" serving from other locations). The rice was bland and the ribs were lacking that familiar "sweet red sauce" flavor we all know. I truly think the "weird aftertaste" is due to a lack of changing oils or the woks they use aren't cleaned consistently. The lack of flavor issues are consistent with most Chinese American spots here in Central Florida. The food didn't make me sick, so that is one plus, I guess. Ciao!

I gave 5 stars for service and atmosphere since I ordered delivery and can't comment on those. But the food...*deep sigh*... I'm compelled to say how lackluster this experience was. I try to remind myself not to have 'high expectations' when it comes to Central Florida and its American Chinese food, and this was another 'not it!' The Shrimp lo mein was flavorless and had extremely mushy noodles. Thankful I had extra soy sauce, oyster sauce, and msg on hand to help this one. The chicken wings were hard and over fried. The platters' only star was the beef teriyaki. The wontons and crab ragoon were hard and inedible, the 'spareribs' were overcooked and hard, the fried shrimp tasted like they were previously frozen and were hard as rocks, the spring rolls were mushy and had a weird 'metallic' aftertaste. For the price, this was not worth it. But hey, everyone has different taste buds...

This used to be my favorite spot for a cozy and somewhat authentic Chinese restaurant. They have a young guy as a server in a dirty shirt and scandals YUCK! Then my favorite girl who has been there forever upfront is blowing her noise and cleaning and wiping her noise right on the floor while I wait for my food. My husband's portion was decent for lunch, and my shrimp egg Foo young was excessively way too much. I don't like the glaze looking gravy. I like the rich, smooth gravy. So my experience was just okay. Im not sure if I'm going back.

China Grill

Definitely not the same owners. Nothing about this food is Asian. Pork fried rice is not yellow and GUMMY! Sweet n Sour chicken is always sauce on the side and I’m pretty sure they just gave me Orange Chicken! Dumplings are supposed to pan fried not dropped in a fryer. Sad. This was my go to for the past 10+ years. Sadly this will be my last order. People can’t afford to waste money. My lunch is in the trash.

I picked up a chicken lo mein lunch special at China Grill today. Sadly it's the second time I have ordered and been deeply disappointed and unable to eat my meal. Today, they had signs in the windows looking for a chef and multiple positions. I should have known it wouldn't be good if they need all those positions filled. The lo mein contained big chunks of carrots and celery, and about four small pieces of chicken. The fried rice had burnt pieces of corn and green beans. The rice was just awful. There was nothing Chinese about the food whatsoever. No flavor.

Kudos to them working hard and being so busy on Christmas Day! I accidentally ordered over $100 in food thinking the portions would be small but the portions are actually huge. We ate for 2 days. However the flavors were a bit bland and basic. Nothing made me crave to return. Maybe I’m being picky but coming from California I know my standards are high and they don’t meet them.

Decent food, reasonable prices, good portions. We just did a take out order.

China Taste

I live 5 minutes from here! It use to be my go to until I couldn't take the women at the counter! I pass right by because of the extremely poor customer service and in my honest opinion, the place just doesn't seem clean. My biggest issue with CHINA TASTE is the horrible customer service. That lady has no business dealing directly with the customers. Let her peel shrimp or steam some rice. If I spend my money in your establishment at least greet me and let me feel appreciated. I feel they are comfortable coming into our black community and treating us as if we are bothering them. Its so disgraceful

I hate to say this but I really use to love this place, now it's really not the same as it was before the food has changed completely I guess because the prices of food has gone up a lot make no difference to me. Be who you are and if they like the food they will pay whatever you charge. They really need to remember you get what you pay for and your are definitely not getting it at this place anymore. I've decided not to return to any of these establishments until the quality of food goes back to where it was before.

La China Blue Chinese Restaurant

Normally late night food is subpar but not here. I picked up food at 11:15 pm and it was amazing. The dumplings were delicious, the sweet and sour chicken was amazing. The philly cheese steak roll was so great, this brought my love back for Chinese food! Found my place now!

I honestly do not know why people leave bad reviews here, their tastebuds must be out of wack. Tastes like really good NY Chinese food. Tastes pretty authentic. The fried rice is true Chinese rice. It's not overcooked, it's super fluffy and really flavorful. The only grievance I had was that the House Special FR had little to no shrimp in it, but it really wasn't a biggie because everything was delicious. Kinda similar to authetic Chinese staple Yummy House without the price tag. Just went here once and now I'm a customer for life. I don't even mind that they're 15 mins out of the way for me.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful but the food was not good at all it was lacking in flavor. We had curry chicken and shrimp. We only come down once a year from South Carolina but we will not be returning next year after the taste of the food today.

I tried here this past weekend on a last-minute search for some dhalpuri and buss up shot to take back to some family on a trip I had coming up. I tried their doubles also while waiting for my other order to be packaged up, and they were absolutely delicious. The mango chutney and tamarind sauce were very good also! I will definitely be back to try their other selections!

Chez Kikise Haitian Food

This is one of the best Haitian Restaurant in Orlando.Highly recommended 🍛

The worse Haitian food I had. Wasted almost $50. I don’t know who saying this is authentic but it’s far from that. Don’t waste your money. Just nasty. Bean sauce spoil that the sauce for the white rice just plain nasty.

Ten years ago I ate here and the food was great, and the food and service now is even better. Our food was fresh, well prepared, unique and the price for quality is outstanding. We're staying at WestGate Palace and will be back before we leave. See you there...

Worst Chinese of my life. All food has been lying there for hours. Dry and tough. Toilets were bogging with children running around in bare feet. $110 for 4 adults and one child buffet. Avoid at all costs. Worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Disgusting!!!! Save yourself the disappointment.
