I ordered the lunch special, Thai fried rice with beef, and kindly requested basil and Thai hot spice level. Both the fried rice and Thai tea were delightful. I have also previously enjoyed their drunken fried rice, and intend to explore their soup options in the future.

Maybe the first time ever I couldn't eat the pot stickers? Although they looked good and were crispy, filling was yucky with kale, spinach, corn. They bring a red plastic bottle of sauce to the table and woo boy is it awful. Pad see yew sauce was awful. Bringing most of it home to doctor it up. Ordered medium and had zero spice. See photo.

We were vacation in Orlando during Chinese New Year 2025 - Snake year. We thought to search for a good Chinese restaurant in Orlando. We were far from home, Vancouver, BC, as we are spoiled with good Chinese restaurant with many options. We had an amazing dinner at Lam's Garden in Orlando, FL. So good! . I am happy I made reservations in advance. The service was fantastic as the staff kept apologizing for the wait of the food as it was really busy evening. When the dishes arrived, it was hot and quite tasty. The decor is typical of traditional, old style, similar to many Chinese restaurants on Kingsway in Vancouver. They old us it was nice to speak with us my hubby can speak Cantonese fluently (not me). Near the end, one of the staff (could be the owner) gave us a complimentary alcohol drink which is super nice of him. It was nice to see the receipt was hand written! Lam's Garden is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Central Florida and we were very lucky to dine at Lam's Garden on one of busiest day in the year.

Nicely decorated dinning room, courteous host, excellent food, came out hot. Had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Two menus, the authentic Chinese and an American menu with two selections. Both are excellent. Start your meal with some tea.

Our favorite Thai restaurant!! We’ve been coming for yearsss, so often the workers pretty much know our orders🤣 the food is consistently DELICIOUS and prices are decent for the portions! I remember our first time we were a bit weirded out how quiet it can be, but we got used to it and it beats a very loud atmosphere. Definitely recommend!!

Just like a book cover, I've totally misjudged this restaurant. Every time I drive by here, the parking lot just seems so empty, so I didn't think twice about going to eat there when deciding where to go out to eat. Finally swung by, and the place was packed! Well, I might as well try it. I was not disappointed! I got the Brown Curry w/chicken. It had a really good flavor. Actually, it would be the perfect dish to get started eating Curry. The atmosphere was surprisingly large and very authentic looking. Based on price, food, and speedy service, I'd have to say you gotta try this place. NOTE: If this review has helped you in any way, PLEASE like this review so it can be elevated faster for the restaurant to be informed of how well that they are doing! If you have a different experience than I had, I'd love to know about your experience to see where our differences were. Thanks again for reading my review.

Found hair and plastic in the Korean beef burrito! On Thursday, 3/20, around 6:05 pm, I grabbed a Korean beef burrito to go after grocery shopping. I didn’t eat it until 7:42 pm. When I finally took a bite, the beef tasted undercooked. I shrugged it off, then bit into something that felt like plastic. The worst part came when I chewed on a tough, inedible piece of hair. I was disgusted and lost all appetite.I immediately called the restaurant. The person who answered said the manager had already left, but they’d take my contact info for follow-up. A woman called me back a few minutes later, confirming my order but repeating that nothing could be done until the manager reached out. By Friday, 3/21, there was no follow-up, so I called again. Another woman assured me the manager would contact me. Now it’s Saturday, 3/22, at 10:35 pm, and I still haven’t heard anything.

This is Mex-Asian fusion. The tables are all outside. This is a fun place to get an excellent meal. The ingredients are fresh, and well prepared. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. This is a regular stop when we are in this area of Orlando. If you stop by, you’ll know what I mean.

I love everything about this restaurant. From the ambiance to the food. I come here specifically for the Roast duck noodle soup which is my favorite thing ever. I’m a sucker for soup. They also have the best (and crispiest) chicken wings. I recently tried the chili wontons and they were 12/10 i would definitely get them again. I cant wait to come back here.

Ive been here a few times and had another really positive experience lately. Delicious food, good and fast service. The crispy pork belly is unreal, a must try. I was also pleasantly surprised/reminded that it's very reasonably priced. Will be back.

The ribs were amazing - they reminded me of Chinese take-out from days long ago - the seasoning was so on-point... then there was the tempura shrimp... on sushi - who can no to that? (monsters, I tell you, that's who...) And while I was there, I had to have the Mongolian Beef... it's just nostalgic... I must go back to try some of those signature dishes that I've missed all these years. As far as the atmosphere - I love it! The crew is so relaxed, they put you immediately at ease. The decor is trendy yet traditional. It kinda makes you feel like you're back on your first date - what a way to rekindle those first date flames... Thank you P. F. - you'll be seeing me again soon...

The atmosphere was not bad. I ordered the Mongolian Beef + brown rice + veggie spring roll, the brown rice was way too dry. I asked my colleagues about the rice They ordered, They commented it was way too dry as well. I mentioned to the server Diana when i paid the bill, she never asked how our food were before we paid, she didn't even give a damn afterwards anyway. I would recommend to try other branches to see whether there would be any difference.

This spot is located within the Publix. Pretty good food, but keep in mind it is Publix Chinese so the flavors are less vibrant than an actual Chinese spot!

Chinesse Food was fresh with good flavor.

Went here for my aunt’s bday she was hosting. The food was decent. My favorite was the lobster. The soup was kinda watery and did not have that much flavor. I tried a few of the other dishes and they were okay. The atmosphere at the time we went was pretty chill. We came in at around 6pm. Not that many people in there. Parking is hard to find. The back lot has a good amount of spaces but are taken up by other businesses. You could try to park across the street at their overflow. This was a Tuesday btw. We ended up getting lucky and found parallel parking next to the nail place next door.

Have been coming here for years and is always our first stop into Orlando. We live in Jacksonville and have come to Tasty Wok and have gone back home.

All Wonton Soups are not created equal. I go to China Star for Wonton Soup whenever I am in the Orlando area. It is always consistently delicious!

China Star was consistently recommended to me and finally tried it. It was some of the best Chinese food I’ve found in Orlando. I had no intentions on ordering the General Tso Chicken but after reading the reviews, I was convinced to order it. It was super delicious; spicy and tangy and the chicken was crispy. Two thumbs up! I also ordered the fried dumplings which were also really good.

My friends and I came in expecting the brunch vibe that we saw on social media but when we sat down we discovered brunch only happens on Saturday and Sunday. However I am so glad we stayed because the food was a 10/10. Our table had the fried calamari and spring rolls for appetizers. Pad See-Ew with scallops, Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken, and the Mai Thai Burger for entrees. We also ordered a Mai Thai and Lychee Martini from the specialty cocktail menu. The presentation was beautiful, there are no complaints about the food, and the service from the general manager Micheal was excellent.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, the service was disappointing from the start. Upon arriving at our table, we noticed it was not set with utensils, which was an early sign of disorganization. We waited approximately 20 minutes before a waiter approached us, and when he did, he failed to introduce himself—an immediate red flag. He simply asked for our drink order, so we decided to place our food order at the same time, anticipating a lengthy wait. Our drinks arrived 15 minutes later, and our food was not served until 45 minutes after ordering. I had requested a lychee martini, but instead, I received a martini garnished with a blueberry. When I inquired about this with a staff member, she claimed that was how it was served but said she would check with the bar. Unfortunately, she never returned, and when I attempted to get her attention, she deliberately ignored me. Eventually, I informed our waiter that I wanted to exchange the incorrect drink for a lemon drop martini. By this time, everyone at the table had received their food and drinks except for me. Another concerning aspect was that although our meals were served, we still had not been provided with utensils. Our waiter finally brought them, but the delay was perplexing. I had ordered the avocado toast, which arrived 15 minutes after everyone else had finished their meals. At that point, I still had not received my lemon drop martini, requiring yet another reminder before it was finally served. We also had to request additional water, as the cups provided were quite small and had been emptied quickly. What stood out most was that other tables he was attending received prompt and attentive service, while ours was notably neglected. It was unclear whether the restaurant was experiencing staffing issues, but the experience was vastly different from our first visit in 2023, which had been much smoother. Additionally, there was an unexpected surcharge: meals that included eggs were charged an extra $1 per egg. For example, my avocado toast originally cost $22.95, but with the two eggs included, the total rose to $24.95. Considering the quality of the meal, I did not find it to be worth the price. I substituted eggs for sausage, yet the dish was still underwhelming. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and given the stark contrast from our first visit, I’m unsure if I would return.

Seafood bag was hot and flavorful but all my shrimp was overcooked. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and I would still be back to try their other selections.

Yummy Crab has the best seafood boils in Orlando. We’re obsessed! We’ve order a minimum of once a month for the last three years. Their to-go options are amazing. Our orders are always correct. The seafood quality is excellent, and fresh. We love ordering the trays for family dinners and special occasions.

Today was our first visit to UNO's. Robert, the host was very nice and provided recommendations upon seating us. Dee our server, provided great customer service. We ordered the deep dish UNO loaded with veggies and meat. If you prefer a lot of cheese, you may want to ask for extra, I liked the way it was. My hubby likes a little more cheese. We also added a house salad 🥗 , everything was delicious. If you like leftovers order larger, we ordered a large and left with half of the pizza 🍕 perfect for another meal. Dee boxed our remaining pizza to go. We'll definitely be back again.

visit: feb 19th, lunch this place will remind you of east side marios if you've been in Canada's restaurants. taste is NOT the same though. while the steak was okay at best -and the loaded mashed is basically loaded mashed (the item i liked most), food here needs a LOT of modifications, if this place were to make more money.. would i visit again? not if i had options. I'm rating the food poorly, but i stress that the service is the exact opposite. Alex (server) and Tish (hostess and manager) were nothing short of awesome. we had the cheese sticks, which had no flavor and marinara dip could come in a bigger portion cause it's the only thing that accentuates the taste of this appetizer. the steak and loaded mash, a 3 of 5, for its price, not bad.. the pasta shrimp scampi, no flavor at all. my friend who runs a restaurant had said something that it could be the fire. place is clean, the place had a homey vibe.. just keep the salt close to you.
