Shrimp Basket
Wonderful food and superb service. Ask for Lindsey. She is one of the best servers we’ve experienced. Wonderful smile and very personable. For the price, food can’t beat it.
We stopped on our way to our condo during lunchtime and it was not too crowded. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered 2 baskets of popcorn shrimp but we received regular shrimp baskets. It was very tasty but we weren't trying to break the bank and there was a $3 difference for each basket. I had the fried Oyster Poboy with a side salad. The service was good and we received our food quickly. Overall it is a good spot for a tourist town. After tip, we spent $90 for 4 people.
Tailfins Waterfront Grill + Breakfast + NFL ticket
This is a fabulous place right on the water to grab a drink, watch a football game or meet friends yo socialize. The few is great as well. It is a large place with several bars. We loved the decor and the atmosphere was really nice. They had background music playing which is always nice. The service was great and our food was delicious. We will be back. I recommend this business.
Our waitress, Charla B, was very friendly and attentive. She gave us excellent service! I had the crab legs which were very good, but very expensive for how many clusters you get. I guess when it says "market price", you should ask. Three clusters, minus one claw, was $50. I won't make that mistake again. I took new pictures of the menu. The crab legs went from $37 to $50. It looks like almost everything on the new menu is up about 33%. Not a good move in the off- season. The atmosphere is great as is the location (at the marina). I guess that's what you're really paying for.
Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
Our cook was AMAZING! He made our dining experience even better with so much laughter and made our meals delicious.
The food is bom, service is aaaaaaasooome....we eat in here at weekend, and everythings is 7 star i said...you need to try it...
Absolute Thai Cafe (Valparaiso)
Great food and Thai tea! And great atmosphere (music), kind people :) awesome chiangmai, Tom yum soup and curry
Incredible food and it’s amazing to see the owner greet you with such happiness first thing in the morning. Loved the thai beef salad since it’s hard finding a place that makes the beef so thin and the marinade so delicious. Pad thai was delicious, little in the sweet side but that’s exactly how I like it. Will be coming back
Rock N Roll Sushi
Not very pleased with my order today. I order from here religiously but man has the quality and portions gone seriously downhill I may have to stop. To only get one piece of steak in my fried rice with a small chunk on the side is pretty sad. Not to mention I asked for it to be rare and it’s definitely well done. My sushi also looks like it was rolled by a child and one of the salmon pieces is brown. To pay $23 for this on the toast app is actually quite sad, if I wasn’t at work I’d be bringing the food back up for a refund. I’m really disappointed in this place. It used to be my favorite thing to get for work lunch and now I’m just so irritated I don’t even want my food.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We came from out of town and it’s the best sushi we’ve ever had. We will be eating here again next time we are down in Florida. 10 out of 10 on everything and the sushi rolls were well worth the price because of how big they end up being. The pictures do no justice for the food or service!!
First Choice Buffet
This place is in dire need of a renovation! The food is fantastic and service is great, but it really bares the question of how clean they really keep their cooking and dining area, with all the stains, muck, and stickiness on the walls, chairs, tables, and decor. My biggest concern was the bathrooms. I was afraid to touch ANYTHING it was so disgusting. The photos are of the women's restroom, so I can only cringe at the thought of the men's! Neither toilet was flushed when I went in, and the handicap stall looked like someone stopped the toilet up before urinating one the floor!
This was a welcome surprise when 6 of us stopped in for a late lunch one afternoon for my father's birthday. If we had to give any kind of "criticism" the fried rice was a little bit dry. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon and there was maybe one other table. There were so many other options nobody even noticed. It wasn't even that dry. I can't believe I've never been here before. Out of this world. We will be back often! The egg foo young is made so perfect. The portions are exactly spot on.
Thai Spice
Staff is very nice. Ruff inside location. Sodas were bad. Pad Thai was really good. 6.1 out of 10. More of the typical veggies would have stepped up the game mostly noodle. Flavors were on the mark. Quick service. Its a bar as well so never know of conversations you'll here.
The chicken pad-thai medium was great..the spring rolls and very cold beer were really good. Service was good and she was very friendly. Bought a quart of local honey too. Check it out. Great food
Soi Bistro
This is my favorite sushi place in the area. Bar none. I try to get something different whenever I go there. I'm addicted to the katsudon, so I will get that no matter what. Their sushi rolls are amazing, inventive, and will make you question reality! I had the Korean BBQ wings for the first time, which i will get again and again and again! Seaweed salad, a must, steamed dumplings, absolutely, and that katsudon, without a doubt! Soi Bistro, if you haven't been here yet, then you are cheating yourself and doing your stomach a disservice! Friendly staff and food that's worth every penny. Oh yeah, and that Sake!
Me and my daughter went to eat sushi it was good. The Japanese lady I think Misa was very pretty sweet cashier. She got us refills I dropped my chopsticks she gave me new ones. I’ve been here before they have good food. The restaurant is so clean and organized
THAI BANGKOK BISTRO
Hands down, The best Thai food I have ever had. We had the Honey garlic grilled chicken sandwhich, pork egg rolls, coleslaw, rice and red Curry, side salad, it was all incredible, I hope this place is around for a long time, we will be back! If your craving Thai food, definitely come to Bangkok Bistro. Customer service was also amazing, our waitress was so nice!
At first glance, Thai Bangkok Bistro in Fort Walton Beach might not seem like much. The unassuming exterior gives no hint of the delightful experience awaiting inside. But as soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by a cozy, mom-and-pop vibe and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The restaurant features a karaoke setup, and the cheerful waitress informed me that their karaoke nights are a big hit, often drawing lively crowds. Her friendly demeanor set the tone for the entire visit. When I asked for a meal recommendation, she suggested the Chicken Pad Thai, which I ordered with mild heat. The dish came with a soup whose name escapes me, but its flavor certainly didn’t. The pricing was reasonable, and the portions were surprisingly generous. Having tried Chicken Pad Thai at several local spots, I used to swear by Sawadee Thai Restaurant in Niceville as the go-to for this dish. But I have to admit, Thai Bangkok Bistro has taken the crown. Their Chicken Pad Thai was simply incredible—the best I’ve ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chicken tender and flavorful, and the combination of crunchy bean sprouts, peanuts, and noodles created a heavenly texture. Every bite was a joy, and I found myself savoring it to the very last forkful. The accompanying soup was equally delightful, with flavors that complemented the meal beautifully. Overall, I left thoroughly impressed and genuinely excited to have discovered this gem. I’ve already found myself dreaming about their Chicken Pad Thai and can’t wait to return. I hope the quality and flavors remain consistent because this might just become my new favorite spot. Truly a Hidden Gem for Pad Thai Lovers. Highly recommended—this place is worth checking out!
KA PAO THAI RESTAURANT
First time in Florida, went to get some food near my hotel. Server is super sweet and nice. My boyfriend got the sukiyaki and I ordered the red curry with chicken. Food was very tasty but I just got one criticism on the curry. The curry was watery, I expected the curry to be a thick, but it was more like a soup consistency. I also don’t think I tasted coconut milk in the curry at all.
Such friendly service! Welcomed me in with a big smile as I ordered my food to-go.. I choose the red curry (medium) which came with Jasmine rice, it was a good heat without being overpowering and the best Thai curry I’ve had in Fort Walton! Was soooo good! I also ordered the J.4 shrimp tempura roll (would recommend) and received 2 spring rolls and a sweet Thai tea for free! Would definitely recommend going for lunch or dinner, will be back for sure!
Osan's Korean restaurant and Japanese Sushi
Food was delicious! We got the bulgogi and kimchi jjigae and it was awesome. Definitely coming back to try more items!
The food was vegetable-based and light, typical of Korean cuisine. I ordered "Galbi Bibimbap," and the accompanying kimchi was very tasty, and the bibimbap that arrived on the griddle was hot and delicious. The vegetables and rice were eaten together, and after a while, the sweet and spicy sauce was poured over the vegetables to change the flavor. The sauce was a bit sweet for soy sauce and seemed to go well with the aroma of sesame oil. I think this is probably the best Korean food in the neighborhood. I will probably come back again.
Chick-fil-A
SUPER CLEAN! SUPER TASTY! Plenty of parking and an updated 2 lane covered drive thru. The entire staff was quick to greet and repeatedly asked if we needed anything else while we were eating. So gracious and kind. The bathrooms were just as clean as the rest of the restaurant. Total bonus and first time ever seeing one.... complimentary mouthwash station in the bathroom. As I was leaving and carrying my leftover box an employee stopped me and offered me a bag and asked if I'd need any additional sauces for my left overs. What a fantastic experience!! So often I visit many fast food restaurants that count out the napkins they give you and Short change you on the amount of condiments they give you. Not this location! We will be back as we feel like they truly value our business especially when it's so expensive to eat out now. This place was totally worth it :)
I came around 10:15am. I was greeted by a very friendly lady with a bright smile and festive holiday accessories. The whole restaurant was very clean as was the restroom. The cashier and food runner were both also very friendly. As I was eating a lady was going around and cleaning all the tables even though they all looked clean already, I appreciate the attention to detail. The lady that greeted me was going around to tables checking to make sure everyone was doing alright and collected my tray. As I was exiting the same lady wished me a Merry Christmas and to have a great day. She was smiling and so infectiously happy the whole time. A great experience, probably one of the best Chick-fil-A visits I've ever had. Great job by all!
