Let me tell you about our legendary first visit to Chick-fil-A! As Canadians from Ontario, we were total Chick-fil-A rookies, but luckily, we met the ultimate MVP: Jen, the on-duty manager. We explained we’d never experienced the hype, and instead of judging our rookie status, she took us under her wing like a fast-food fairy godmother. She made stellar recommendations and—get this—didn’t even charge us. We were floored! The food? Absolutely amazing. But then things got next-level. Enter Tripp, the owner, who came by our table mid-meal like the Chick-fil-A ambassador of hospitality. Not only did he bring us a stuffed cow (yes, we now own Chick-fil-A merch!), but he also gifted us their signature chicken sandwich—THE sandwich that started it all. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, Tripp swooped back with a warm cookie that was so good it might’ve brought a tear to our eye. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. Jen and Tripp made us feel like royalty, and we left with full stomachs, a stuffed toy, and smiles we couldn’t wipe off our faces. If you haven’t been to Chick-fil-A, GO. And if you meet Jen or Tripp, tell them the Canadians sent you! Highly recommend this place—it’s more than a restaurant; it’s a memory in the making.

This has been by far the best Chick-fil-a. We were greeted in the parking lot by young man who inquired about our car… It’s a little smart car so everyone’s curious as how big it is inside so we gave him a tour. Then we walked through the front door and we were agreed to buy young lady with a beautiful smile and such a friendly attitude. We spoke with her for a few minutes before we placed our order because no one was behind us at that moment we got our seat and then we agreed to buy two other ladies who work for the company. All the employees appeared to be so happy and so friendly, and two of the ladies would randomly come by and greet us and chat with us for a few minutes as we ate. We love conversing w people so for my friend and I, this was great. Say on our way out the door we got hugs from the two ladies and a few extra minutes to take with us. We got our tour car there were mints put on each door handle. So we were so impressed that I decided to write a review. So come to find out that the gentleman who greeted us in the parking lot when we first pulled in with the owner of the restaurant. So I found his location come to find out he was working the drive-through taking orders. That’s my kind of boss. I would love working for someone like this. Because he rolls up his slaves and get his fingernails, dirty, and that speak volumes to me people read my reviews and looked at the photos. I have posted as well as videos and as of yesterday it was 4.5 million. So I met him formally and shared with him that I wanted to write a review and I’d like to take his picture, I told him I never tell people that I do because they treat you differently. When they don’t know, they’re getting a review you find out the real source of what’s going on in a business. I give it five stars … on the menu, he’ll get 10. The place was packed and I was so impressed… Highly highly recommend if on the Gulf Coast, Destin, Florida location.

Ryan Y. was an amazing server. He was professional, courteous and polite. He is definitely a customer service person. He warned us about the size of the nachos. Holly buckets, they are huge. We maybe ate 1/3 of them. They were very good. The atmosphere is awesome and fun.

Great friendly and family atmosphere! Jaylin, our waitress was awesome and Matt too! The whole place is phenomenal with the live alligators, big arcade, delicious food, and plenty places to take pictures. We loved ❤️ it! I will definitely return with my family!

So much potential, squandered on bad service. Great food, well done! 5⭐️ Great atmosphere, well done! 5⭐️ Bad service, really quite baffling… 2⭐️ The cocktails/wine were on point, our food was delectable, but the service destroyed the experience. Yup. I would recommend all the things, although the fries had too much seasoning they were still really good. Just… not the service. Multiple times trying to flag him down, pull information out or remind him of a missed drink or item. This isn’t hipster, it’s just a bad experience. Also, right up front, just let us know your name so I don’t have to say “hey,” I’ll remember... I don’t expect this poor service for $300. Help me give you money! PS: I get it credit cards suck for fees, but 3.5% surcharge without letting us pay cash? What you doing?!

Our meal at Bitteroot was spectacular. This gem of a restaurant is tucked away at the end of a shopping plaza. The menu is not huge which I believe allows the chef to truly focus on every element of his dishes. They were all spectacular! Our appetizer and entrees were as beautiful as they were delicious. The bar serves unique craft cocktails as well as having an extensive menu of spirits and fine wine. Our server was very attentive. This is not a restaurant for the budget minded but instead it is a unique dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Pizza arrived as if a tornado swept it away inside the box. I was shocked that the food was not only smashed and messed up beyond belief but also burned to a crisp at the bottom. Called asking for some sort of understanding/fix to the issues but the person over the phone just asked for proof and said they would "investigate" been several days since then and absolutely nothing to show for it. Will be choosing other places in the future, I recommend you all do as well.

If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would! Customer service was horrible. There was a mishap with the payment when checking out at the register and the first young lady said something happened with the payment however money was taken off my card and I guess she called over the rudest manager and with an attitude she said nothing came off the card and I literally showed her on my account and she said still with an attitude and pizza dough in her hands touching the register (unsanitary) and started rolling her neck and getting even louder with me and when I corrected her in the way she was talking to me she tried snatching the pizza from me and told me to get out the store and have a nice day. That lady has a nasty attitude everytime I come in there.

Five stars all the way for us. We always have the best experience with Marcos. The food is great, and reasonably priced but the service is top notch, especially when Craig is our delivery driver. He always goes above and beyond and is just so sweet and friendly. He even brought our transformer loving son a transformers gift from his recent trip to Japan. Who does that? Craig! That’s who! I hope Marcos takes good care of him because he sure takes good care of his customers!! Highly recommend!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly by an establishment. To start, yes, it was Halloween, yes they were busy. I was quoted a time of 525. I got there at 530 and she had me pay and then told me “your order isn’t ready yet.” I said, “Ok, what’s the wait time?” She told me, “5 minutes, it’s in the oven.” After about 10 min. I asked again..again, I was told my pizzas were in the oven. I asked to talk to a manager and that was the absolute worst part of it. A short, black male with 1 ear bud in walks over and says, “what?- come up here to my face and talk to me.” I did and was taken back. I asked how much longer since my pizza was in the oven. He then asked me, “you want your pizza or not? It’s that simple.” And him replying with, “that’s what I thought.” He was rude and argumentative. Complete trash. I asked him for his name and he said, “why, why? I ain’t giving you my name.” Any reasonable establishment would not talk to customers the way they did. Every 5 min I was told 5 min. I was told for 30 min my pizza was in the oven. Waiting an hour past your quoted time is a joke. They could have taken full responsibility for it and owned up to it and it would have been different. I also witnessed several other people ask for refunds and they were told, “we don’t have time to do that.” It was an AWFUL experience. If the employees would have given me the managers/owners contact info I would have taken this up with them first.

I’ve had pho at a lot of places, all over the country, ranging from subpar to excellent. Most of it has to do with the broth. This place is excellent. They really know how to do it. The pho is the best I’ve had in the area. This is the second time this week I’ve been in for lunch. Service is fast and friendly. They’ve got me hooked. Get the pho tai. You won’t be sorry!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Pho Nguyen Vietnamese Noodle Restaurant, and I must say that my experience was a mixed bag. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the service was friendly and efficient, creating a pleasant dining environment. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed with the dish I ordered, the Shrimp Chicken Fried Rice. The presentation was decent, portions were good, but the taste left much to be desired. The chicken in the dish seemed to be overcooked, giving it a slightly dry and boiled texture. This made it less enjoyable than I had hoped for. The shrimp also had a mushy texture, which was not very appealing. What disappointed me the most was the overall flavor of the dish. It lacked the vibrant and bold flavors that I associate with Vietnamese cuisine. The dish, in general, tasted rather bland and was missing the harmonious balance of spices and seasonings that I had anticipated. While I believe that every restaurant can have its off days, I'm might be open to giving Pho Nguyen another chance in the future. The restaurant's ambiance and service were pleasant, and it's possible that other menu items may better showcase their culinary expertise. Despite my experience with the Shrimp Chicken Fried Rice, I'm hopeful that other dishes at Pho Nguyen could still deliver an authentic and flavorful Vietnamese dining experience.

This was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had! We got the pad see eiw duck, crab ragoons, and sesame chicken. My husband agreed that it did taste authentic and one of the best meals he has too. The owner and cook were very nice and the cook checked on us multiple times to make sure our meal was okay. We thought it was very reasonably priced for all the food we got. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Visited several times for lunch and dinner. The hostess was very nice and promptly refilled our water and checked in with us. Food was great! We tried the Pad Won Sen (refreshing, huge portion), Pad Thai (one of the best I’ve had), Tom Yum (complex flavor and comforting), Pad Prik Gang (spicy and tasty), Mango Sticky Rice (not too sweet, also huge portion), and Thai Tea (not too sweet, perfect tea-to-milk ratio); all delicious! If something isn’t spicy enough, they will give you chili powder on the side to make it spicy to your liking. Best Thai restaurant around Destin that we tried! Definitely worth a stop. Especially great if you’re doing activities at or around Destin Harbor Boardwalk since it is right across the street! Please support this local business!

Trying new places brought us to Jackacuda's Seafood and Sushi. I was looking for a combination of good high quality sushi and fresh seafood. I got half of what I wanted. The atmosphere was nice and casual with a country vibe. Romeo, our server and also bartender, was nice enough but was too busy and the bar with drinks so we waited a little for orders and requests. The sushi consisted of mostly rolls with very little fresh sushi. As a matter of fact, there was no sushi or sashimi available. However, the apps and seafood plater was excellent with fresh Mahi and shrimps. Also, be aware of what's on your bill. This place automatically adds a 20% gratuity even for a party of two....which would be what I would usually tip (20-25%) but I don't like being forced to. I will likely not come back

We ordered sushi, fish tacos, and a poke bowl. The sushi seemed really fresh and was flavorful. We had the Orange Torch and the Kamala Ka Zee rolls. The Orange Torch was our favorite. The people working here were happy and seemed genuinely kind.

Highly recommend this perfectly prepared and delicious pizza! Right amount of pepperoni and hamburger toppings, and cheese - plus the crust is super crispy! Also, the service was outstanding! Not only did Ashley make an exceptional pizza but she also provided excellent service and checked on us too! She made our experience and we will absolutely return to this Destin Commons location!

I worked in the Pizza Delivery business going back nearly 24 years, and I have never, never seen such dismal,disorganized, and duplicitous ethic in my life. This experience was an absolute joke. First and foremost, I called the number at least 3 times in the span of 25 minutes and no one ever answered the receiver. Second, I quickly tried to make sure they bring Crushed Peppers and they couldn’t even do that. The Couriers were fantastic. That’s the ONLY positive thing I can say about the experience. The Ingredients were maybe a step ahead of Papa Johns, meaning for $18+ Tax and delivery charge, this was an absolute ripoff. Take a look at the photo. That’s not a ‘12, that’s not even ‘11. 10 inches is not a Medium pie. Does this Startup even KNOW the fundamentals of Crust sizes and kneading? I guess not. I’m a tourist here in Destin, not a Resident. I hadn’t even been in FL for 33 years. I expected a positive experience and didn’t even get it. To say how disappointed I am is an understatement. I feel like I wasted $23. I don’t recommend Redbrick. Period. Even Pizza Inn and TX exclusives like Villa Roma are 20X better. If you’re in Destin, go to Jets or Merlin instead. Utterly pathetic.👎

On vacation a week in Destin, and sadly only discovered this gem on my last day. Wish I live closer and can get food there frequently. I ordered sticky rice, a papaya salad, Pad Thai, and the whole fish, Pla Tod Rad Prik. Every dish was done to perfection, bursting with flavors, and so delicious! My waitress was attentive and very friendly.

Awesome Thai restaurant, definitely my favorite in the Destin/Fort Walton area. Everything I’ve had here is amazing, but the massaman curry is phenomenal and definitely my favorite.

The food was good. The service was good. Took a bit to get our food, but I wouldn't say too long, and I think it was because it was made when we ordered, so I'm not complaining. The atmosphere is cool since it is right off main street and its outdoor dining. The only slight negatives I would say about the place is that it doesn't really have a parking lot but you can park on the street and walk a little to the food truck and that you might be waiting a bit because they are busy and popular.

We love Lao Thai express they really bring the aloha spirit. Garlic chicken is Bomb! Don’t miss out on the curry Thai style My kids always eat the spring rolls and garlic chicken Try to call ahead for your order is she gets super busy!!

Had the best breakfast ever. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. The last too weeks I went here have not been good with Jim the cook not there.. But yesterday, 10/28/24, two new cooks cooked. the food was cooked perfectly. Toast was actually toast and not warm bread. Hash browns were actually well done as ordered. The eggs and bacon couldn’t have been cooked better. Keep those cooks and I’ll return often with friends and family.

The order was placed online so I would not have to be late for an appointment.Took over 25 minutes for an easy breakfast. Gave me crispy bacon instead of soft like requested. Only gave me 1 waffle when I ordered a double.
