It was ok. Higher than expected prices for pretty mid food. Lychee cocktail good

This place is hands down our favorite - we either dine in or order out weekly. The food is excellent, as is the service. The Komo roll is a must have. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I are still sitting at the table writing this review. Food was absolutely spectacular and the staff could not be more kind and hospitable. Here’s our recommendations (we’re absolute food snobs by the way): -scallops in beet puree (special that I hope makes it to the permanent menu-just unbelievable and lite) -roasted oysters -escargot -French onion chicken -apple tartine (chefs kiss) Kudos to the owner and chef here food is delicious. Can’t wait to come back! One of the few good restaurants in the area. Wow!

Very cute restaurant. Very few seats in the main dining room which I appreciate. We were able to get seated without a reservation which was nice. Sunday night was pretty busy. I started off with the foie and was very disappointed. They didn’t use any salt or finishing salt on the foie or any of the proteins on our meal for the evening. I had the scallop and shrimp dish and again, the fish and scallops had no salt. The veggies were seasoned though. My son had the steak, which we had to season at our table. The dishes were beautiful and lacked a ton of flavor which was a huge let down. Our server was a sweetheart but was in the weeds all night. The table next to us was on a date a very frustrated with how long it took to get our servers attention. She was sweet just overwhelmed. I got one dessert (it was delicious) and was charged for 2 somehow. The manager took care of it so no harm done

Favorite boba EVER. good chicken, mid fries. Cute place ! Girl at the counter was sweet. My man got curry shrimp and seemed very into it. Good value :). I got the purple yam mochi boba it was so good!! Edit: went back. Don't get the brulee boba. but the brown sugar is really good too!

Update** I tried the potato corn dog with mozzarella cheese and it's definitely a 10/10 for me. My initial visit may not have been what I expected but I intend on trying different menu items before completely condemning the place like I did in my original review. I wanted to like this place sooo bad but it's a No for Me😫. The customer service is great; very friendly staff. The food however is not as promising as it appears. My fries were cold, like they weren't freshly made. The flat wings were great but the drums did not take the seasoning and was very bland. The corn dog had no cheese. I was charged $0.50 for the sauce even though I took it on the side and not on my wings. The spicy crispy chicken wrap was my fav but it was definitely not spicy. Very pricey for a fast food place (total $25.54 for what's pictured) and I'm just not sure it's worth the price.

The food here is always fresh and delicious the waitress are always very friendly and offer you the whole menu always very good comfort food

Decided to go here for lunch. I ordered the 1/2 pollo al horno (1/2 chicken or fried chicken) for 11.49. Not only did you get a 1/2 chicken, but it came with a small pan of white rice 🍚, a small cup of beans, and a small salad. A great amount of food for the price. In addition, I ordered two slices of cake (carrot cake and red velvet) for $5 each. In total, I paid about $24. The meal was okay. The chicken was not moist, just dry. In addition, the cake was ok. There is a dine in option available.

Highly recommend the sliced beef pho and the short rib pho (if you prefer richer soup)! Noodles were the perfect texture, generous meat portions, and deeply flavorful broth. Summer rolls came with some of the best peanut sauce. The bahn mi bread is freshly baked, with a crispy crust, and a variety of delicious fillings. Will definitely visit again soon to try more appetizers and sandwiches.

Kenko is a great place to grab some good Vietnamese pho and bahn mi . Staff is very friendly and they are super quick with orders. I recommend the grilled pork bahn mi spicy. And the Pho of course . Prices are reasonable if you’re in the Merrick area be sure to check them out. They’re located right on the corner of the Merrick train station .

The chicken ramen with vegan broth is my absolute fave! The broth is yummy and savory, noddles are soft, and the chicken is always seasoned really well. They also have really yummy poke bowls and other apps, but I always go back for the ramen! Love having this place in our community! Thank you Sherry!

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Protein portion for the poke was on the smaller end. Ramen was not the best either. Manager Sherry and staff is friendly. In my opinion, they should focus on the poke and get rid of the Ramen section. Noodles were undercooked, meat was small, and broth was not as flavorful as other places. Recommendation: Build your own pokebowl. Spicy salmon was good choice.

Service is great. Egg shell in the fried rice. Boo. Chicken was just bad. The egg roll was delicious though. And the Pu Pu Platter was good.

The food is delicious! However, the wait staff is totally unorganized, and waited too long to take our order. The waiters took the orders of regular customers over customers that were unfamiliar to them. We had to ask three times who our waiter was to only to have this waiter go to the table next to us first, even though they came in after us. It was clear the waiter knew who they were by his greeting to them and the banter between them. When the food was finally brought out to us, he announced that they were out of what one of us had ordered. To not tell us that information until everyone else had their food was ridiculous. We should have been told right away in a timely fashion so another entree could be ordered. He blamed the kitchen saying they’re all Spanish and don’t speak English. Then, this same waiter pressured us for a tip and showed us the tip “his friends”had given him, as if we had no clue how to tip or how much. I used to frequent the restaurant with my parents as a child when we lived in Wantagh. To come back now as a grandmother to see the way customers are treated was very sad.

I came here for dinner with my friends. Sakura Sushi is a popular all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant known for its fresh and flavorful sushi rolls, sashimi, appetizers, and desserts. It offers a wide variety of options with generous portions, making it a great choice for sushi lovers. We use the iPad to send the orders of what we wanted to eat. The casual and family-friendly ambiance features TVs for entertainment, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere suitable for small groups and families. Every sushi rolls tastes fresh. Their gyoza was so good that we ended up ordering more of it. And their fried ice cream with vanilla was great! It does get very packed at night, so highly recommend reservations. There's also free parking space.

What a nice place to go and eat good Asian cuisine!! Staff great, food great, I loved ! I'll be back for sure. All you can eat. My only mistake was to go alone. Lol

Our favorite local Chinese takeout

I called to change my order and instead of trying to accommodate me the lady on the phone just kept dismissing me and shouting at me to call Uber eats. I could not even get a word in without her rushing me off the phone. I tried to talk to her in a civilized manner but instead she just kept cutting me off as if she did not want to deal with my order change. She finally hung up the phone in my face. I was in shock and appalled at the rude service this place has to offer. I never even ordered food from this restaurant and therefore, I could have been a potential customer. So now I’m spreading the word that this restaurant has awful customer service and needs to be more mindful of how to treat customers with respect. Never again!

We’ve been steady customers of Chung Hing for over 20 years. Food has always been consistently delicious and plentiful with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful and take pride in the food they serve. We’ve never been disappointed and highly recommend Chung Hing to all our friends.

The absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life! How can you not make good Chinese food? I make better at home. Be we wanted a night out. Shrimp fried rice is the easiest thing in the Chinese menu you can make all you need is an egg, onion, rice and Shrimp and oil. Which most American houses have. This was the trash, we drove 20 minutes to get there since we live on Jones beach, Long Island beach food was horrible. The rice had big chunks of onions, a few shrimp and rice. See photos These was no eggs, just big pieces of onions a few unclean shrimp nothing else. The Chinese dumplings, were all Dough see photos, Just horrible! Please do yourself a favor you can get better in the frozen food section of your grocery store. SHAME ON YOU FOR CHARGING almost $25 for this Nasty food Will never return. A refund would be more then we could ask for. Trashed the food.
