Chifa Du Kang (Bird Road)
We found this spot while trying to get to another place—and honestly, so glad we did! Total hidden gem here in Miami. The food was super delicious, the vibe was chill, and the service was on point. We’re definitely coming back! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area. Thanks for the great experience! 10/10
Excellent food, so fast! We have family meal for 5 and could have served 8 people. Wonton soup was top notch. My favorite was fried rice and the lemon chicken. Great deal.
Yi-Wong Chinese Restaurant
The food was ok 👌 I had egg rolls which I didn’t care for. I had chicken egg fo young very good 😊 and Mx soup 🍜 which I didn’t like. Very sweet women that work there.
They have people who pick through grab your order and then they drop it so they can pick up somebody else's order and then they don't get your order and then they charge you for it. They deserve no stars, but I have to put something. Thank you to suffer from what sounds like a cold and blue medicine hangover around the morning?
Kon Chau Chinese Restaurant
Very good and reasonably priced dim sum with large selections. You get a sheet with numbered items and the menu shows photos of the dish so it’s easy! I met the chef/owner’s son, Stanley and I reminisced about the superb Phillip’s in Sunny Isles. Such good food, more upscale & banquet style dishes. You can order Dim Sum all day. Their (54) Singapore Noodles was great with quite a bit of shrimp, eggs & ham, could do with a tad more curry powder. (46)Roast duck noodles looked like a small bowl but quite deep and tasty! I ordered some Dim Sum to take home and even after reheating, turned out good especially the (58) lotus wrapped sticky rice, however not much protein in there. My favorite there is (63) Shrimp & leek/chive dumpling. If you go in the weekend, there’s (36) Deep fried taro dumpling with pork & shrimp and (29) Egg custard tart, more favorites! There is zero decorations, but at least better carpet than before! Give it a try and tell Stanley Wok Star sent you!
Kon Chau was absolutely delicious! I visited to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and while it was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. This is some of the best dim sum I’ve had in South Florida, which says a lot coming from someone who has enjoyed dim sum in the Chinatowns of New York, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, and even Hong Kong. Every bite was authentic and flavorful. My favorites included the dumplings, fried shrimp balls, fried shrimp with taro, stuffed eggplant with shrimp, pan-fried noodles, and the roasted duck. I’m already craving more! I can’t wait to return for another dim sum feast and to explore their other Chinese entrees.
RedFarm
This establishment clearly provides a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional cuisine delighted the palate and left a lasting impression. Coupled with outstanding hospitality, it created a truly memorable occasion. Such a gem deserves wider recognition and accessibility. It's easy to understand the desire to share this wonderful find with others. Please bring this amazing food to Winter Garden, FL.
As a Chinese diner, I’m often skeptical about Chinese fusion restaurants, but RedFarm in Coconut Grove exceeded my expectations. The restaurant owner Jeffrey gifted us pork and crab soup dumplings upon learning it was our first visit—a delicious and thoughtful gesture. We started with crispy spicy beef, five-flavor chicken dumplings, and oxtail dumplings (must try-super good!) all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For mains, the stir fried udon with short spare rib and crispy skin smoked chicken with ginger and peanut satay were both outstanding, with generous portions that allowed us to take some home. Jeffrey also took us on a brief kitchen tour, where we saw the hanging Peking ducks—crispy and golden, a must-try next time. I’m so happy to have such a gem in the Grove and can’t wait to return with more friends!
Panda Express
Convenient location with fairly good food. During lunch times gets very busy, but they have enough people to make it work. If you're polite, they will reciprocate.
I have already eaten at the all restaurant in UM. This restaurant is the only one that is so unpleasant, the staff are unfriendly, all the time have a look like they want to kill customers. Food is good but having to go through this every time I prefer others options.
Wu’s Kitchen & Wines
While the decor is pretty sparse the great food and reasonable prices more than make up for it. We had the dumplings which were fresh and light and the perfect starter. Next was mixed vegetables. The container was jam packed and included bok choi, carrot, pea pods, water chestnut, mushrooms, etc. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, not easy when dealing with such variety. Finally we had the Mu shu pork which again seemed like a good serving. If I order again I would either ask for an extra hoisin sauce or make sure I had some at home.
So, my wife and I ordered take out. Crab rangoons were great, moo goo gai pan was a little light on the broth, and the beef and broccoli was lacking sauce, and overall flavor. Jimmy up front was very friendly and professional though, and ran the order to our car while we waited. Jimmy is killing it!
China Wok
Quick delivery. Usually food is good. This time chicken fried rice not so good. Chicken was not cooked well and somewhat fatty pieces. When I called restaurant the Chinese lady kept going on on how they cook twice and even sent video. I must say eventually they offered to reimburse for Rice but the pictures I send her of chicken was very obvious that something was not right. I probably will not go there again I had been going for years.
I'm a big fan of 'standard fare' Chinese food, so I love this place, which gets it right, every time. Perfect egg rolls, generous fried rice, great soups, and all their dishes taste fresh. It's down right comfort food that keeps you coming back (only drawback is the whole family fighting over the last chicken wing haha)
New China II
Do not order the crab with cream cheese wontons. It was literally just fried wonton skins. There was no filling whatsoever. The sweet and sour pork was good, but there were a few pieces that were just fried batter and no pork inside.
Just a very good take out Chinese spot. If you tried other Chinese/ Cantonese food, you need to try this one. It's above the average of other Chinese food. Just tastier in my opinion. They include sushi in their menu but I'm telling you ,even basic stuff like their egg drop soup is better than most. This place hits the spot every time we order take out from my job on the weekends. The dinner combo is a great dollar deal too. Lots of food for the price. I'd enjoy this anytime.
South Garden Chinese Restaurant
Typical, but will return for the service. Decor, service and food are slightly above average. It’s pleasant, and staff are nice. Food is not greasy. A few dishes could have been hotter. Loose leave Jasmine tea is nice although I don’t taste jasmine but my taste is not all that sharp anyway. They slide the menu up front - maybe they expect you to order off it, even there are multiple carts circulating the room - the ladies all dressed in a burgundy color Chinese style top, which is neat and nice. One lady is clearly pretty old whom I found cute: she came to our table, open the covers of the dishes two at the time in her cart continuously until I signal the chicken feet. All the while she utters nothing. Yellowish 8 River hot pepper sauce is a discovery -:) Small plates - dim sum we’ve: 韭菜饺Chives cakes - bit cold and the shrimp is overcooked 凤爪Chicken feet - tender 虾饺 shrimp dumplings 烧卖 meat dumplings 肠粉 shrimp rice rolls 煎 Friend stick rice ball - bit cold and very little red bean paste - as most of other restaurants’. But I like their small size. Temperature is just right - I don’t have to wear a sweater or shawl: thanks for saving the energy.
Horrible service and food was not good. I was placing my order…… mid sentence the lady walked away to clean a table an take someone else’s order. I ordered a sczchaun beef combination. It comes with pork friend rice. The beef was super oily. And the fried rice was burnt white rice with no taste.whenni said something they were giving excuses about how they had run out of the “yellow rice” but I kept seeing orders of fried rice coming out and they looked good. She told me that I got that rice because I ordered a combination. Why offer fried rice with the combinations of your not gonna give it.
# 1 Wok Miami
This is the best Chinese place I've ever been to. My parents and I ate for just $20 and the fried rice & fried chicken were excellent. I've never had better fried rice or fried chicken anywhere else.
These guys are like speed demons when it comes to deliveries and in the near 4 years I've gone to them for my takeout desires, they've never once let me down. You won't regret ordering from them
Silver Palace Restaurant
I really liked it. The food was very well prepared, with good flavor, especially the Special Fried Rice. They serve a lot because only small portions should be ordered for one. The chicken with honey and garlic was delicious. The place is not so nice but it is clean, the service is good and the food is fresh.
Great authentic Chinese food here. Give other dishes a try such as the salt and pepper shrimp. The shrimps are jumbo. The BBQ duck was also delicious. And for more traditional Cantonese favorites: the pans fried noodles. Other seafood goodness was the conch and fried tofu.
Gar Sing Chinese Restaurant
The food was good and tasted delicious. However, I had a bad experience. I ordered food for pick-up and paid for it. My order included a portion of special fried rice, a portion of special lo mein, and a portion of chop suey. I emphasize "special" because it was supposed to contain ham, beef, chicken, and shrimp. When I got home, I was surprised to find that there was no beef, ham, chicken, and barely four shrimp in each dish I ordered. In this case, I give bad reviews only when necessary because I feel ripped off by these "people."
This is the worst place you can go, it looks very bad, no dine in, the lady who is in the front doesn’t say even HELLO, you say thank you and she doesn’t respond anything, what a disgusting person to deal. Do not go to this place
