One girl on the line filling orders. One on the register 30 people in line seen what I thought was the manager. Turns out he's the district manager. I told him these girls need help out here. His response was we're hiring next week and walks in the back room didn't even help with the line of people. Nika. This is by far the worst Panda Express I've ever been to. I highly recommend you avoid this one. Food is very bland,

Food is always hot, fresh and good

Hot af in that place, I feel bad for the employees. They were nice and expedient, but it's important to me that my grandma, who's 95, not meet with undue aggravation. My family has dinner at her place every Saturday, and they're losing out on major money by not accepting her card over the phone. There aren't many places around that we can go to for Chinese takeout and neither this place nor the one on 41n in Lutz (I'm rating them next) are willing to take card info over the phone. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. I ordered the chicken broccoli, and it just tasted bland. Idk what y'all do down here, but NY Chinese takeout is 1k times better.

Kelsey was an amazing server. Her attitude was positive. She was friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu talkative. She made the whole experience so good. We will definitely be back.

Food is pretty delicious, got dosas, gobi 65 and chicken tiki masala. Flavorful and delicious

This restaurant in front off Busch gardens next to the The Tampa Inn is not good to me the beef and broccoli was nasty the meat tasted old and the broccoli under cooked.. I not happy about not getting a refund back and as far as the atmosphere the ac is out and hot in the restaurant they have not fixed this problem yet.

I have to say that I have ordered late-night twice from this restaurant and they never fail... It is absolutely great food, it's fresh there's a good amount they honestly do a great job! I had the sweet and sour chicken with lo mein.. crab rangoon and egg rolls... They nailed it!

I recently dined at Pei Wei in Tampa Airport, and while our server, Aakilah, provided excellent and attentive service, the food was a major letdown. The Thai soup was served hot but had no flavor, the Mongolian Beef arrived cold with overcooked and tasteless noodles, and the honey-seared chicken with broccoli was just as bland. I’ve enjoyed dining at other Pei Wei locations, so I had high expectations, but this experience missed the mark. You can see from my barely touched main course just how disappointing it was. Hopefully, management steps up to address these issues—otherwise, it might be time for a change.

Horrible Service at Pei Wei – Tampa Airport I sincerely hope someone in corporate or the ownership of this Pei Wei location sees this review. Every time I come through Tampa Airport, the service here is absolutely terrible. Today, Sunday, October 13th, 2024, at 8:38 PM, I experienced yet another frustrating visit. The restaurant was not busy at all—there were only two customers eating in the whole place—yet the service was still awful. There were four employees visible—one at the bar, one on the floor, and two in the back doing nothing while we stood waiting for assistance. Despite making eye contact and clearly needing help since we weren’t ordering from the kiosk, none of them bothered to assist us. One of the waiters even opted to restock plates and then mop the floor, all while ignoring us, knowing full well we were waiting for help. It was obvious from their expressions that they had no interest in serving us and seemed miserable in their roles. After standing there for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged, a chef—a kind gentleman—apologized and explained that he wasn’t allowed to touch the machines, but said if he could, he would have gladly helped. This level of service is completely unacceptable. If you’re passing through Tampa Airport near gate A12, be prepared for mediocre, if not outright horrible, service at this Pei Wei location. This kind of experience should not be tolerated, and I hope management takes immediate action to address the staff’s attitude and lack of attention to customers.

They claimed to have New York style Chinese food and I’m from New York. I can promise you this is not New York Chinese food! All I ordered was steamed dumplings and two egg rolls. The egg rolls had no cabbage in it at all as most eggrolls have. Instead, it was a solid piece of pork. Look at the photos for proof. The eggrolls are also very small. A New York style egg roll is the size of both of these! The steam dumplings are not dumplings, their potstickers. And even potstickers have a darker colored meat inside. The meat in here is pure white. Tasted like frozen GFS food that was just dumped into a fryer or heated up. Horrible and will never be back! Once again, this is not New York style Chinese food!

This place is a trip. I previously ordered takeout. I went to pick it up and the man behind the counter said they were busy and I needed to wait 20 minutes. I left and went to grocery store and came back. Still my food was not ready. He started laughing. I left and got food somewhere else. I had forgotten this incident and ordered food again from them. Went to pick it up and they said "Oh last time you did not pick up your order, so we have not started your order, need to wait 20 minutes. Absolutely, last time I ever order anything from this place.

I am a Chinese food connoisseur and this stuff was awful. I had the chicken egg foo young. Just a flat pancake with very little chicken, peas, carrots and onion. Not fluffy and full of chicken like it should be. The chicken fried rice, weird! Yellow rice and white weirdly cut chicken pieces. And the egg roll, ick! Cabbage roll and small. Where are the ones with peanut butter around here?

Great Chinese takeout, food always tastes fresh, our favorites are the honey chicken and the broccoli chicken as well as the wonton soup. Good prices and portions. Family owned from a local family who lives in this area.

Are we being fooled? Have they recently began scrimping on chicken in sweet sour and honey garlic chicken meals?? Our meal had small, fingernail size pieces of chicken embedded in a deep fried dough balls. For the higher prices, are cutting back on key ingredient, i.e., chicken? The rice, and spring rolls are okay as always, but the dough balls with tiny pieces of chicken are disappointing. When pictures were shown to counter person he didn't seem to care. Hopefully, they will go back to providing better composed sweet sour chicken as they used to.

I always go here since it close to my home. No matter what you order everything seems to be ready in 15 mins. Limited or no seating so its better to take out. ****Update from 4 stars now down to 2. Pork fried rice had no pork and the sesame chicken was dry and did not taste fresh.

I LOVE ❤️ THIS PLACE!!!!! SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. WE HAVE EATEN THERE MANY MANY TIMES, EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. THE VALUE IS VERY VERY GOOD. WHEN WE GO TO CITRUS PARK MALL, WE NEVER MISS EATING AT CHINA 88. THE QUALITY OF FOOD IS SUPERB!!!!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHINA 88. THE BEST OF THE BEST.

The food was amazing! The portion of food is so big that I barely ate it. I don't understand the negative reviews at all because this place will definitely become my favorite now

This is my new favorite Panda Express location. It is by far the cleanest one I’ve been to. The Beyond Orange chicken was fresh and delicious. Noemi was really friendly and helpful in making sure our food was fresh and ready in a timely manner. Wonderful customer service, fresh and delicious vegan food, and amazing customer service. Overall, this was a great experience.

This location is very well maintained and has a great staff. Very clean. Noemi and Mel made us fresh Beyond Orange Vegan Chicken and Supergreens and both were outstanding. The Supergreens were seasoned and prepared so well; a little crunch and a lot of garlic - yum! The vegan chicken was also cooked perfectly. This was the best food at any Panda Express location we have ever been. I hope the vegan chicken stays a long time!

This was a huge disappointment. But I will start with the positive. The bourbon chicken was good, and the white rice was cooked well. The crab rangoons were a bit chewy but tasty. The egg drop soup was a zero. It was like a gummy bear soup. The thing was so thick and gooey it wouldn't even scoop. The fried wontons were so old they were almost white! So so stale! If you don't care about the quality of the food you are serving to people, you shouldn't be in business. What a waste of money.

I ordered wonton soup and krab Rangoon. The wontons in the soup are huge and filled (something you don’t usually see in wontons) also there are 8 krab Rangoon in an order which are delicious and filled up as well. Food has great flavor and you get a good quantity.
