Smiley Thai To Go
First time experiencing Smiley Thai to Go and wow!!! Friendly service and staff were extremely helpful in recommending menu selections. Absolutely amazing flavor in everything I ordered!!!! Will definitely be visiting again in the future!! Highly recommend this restaurant based on the wide variety of menu options, excellent flavor, value for your money and especially it being a local small business!! Keep up the great work!!! Let the kitchen staff know they are doing an amazing job!!! 🙌🏻
Who knew that Largo Mall would have several delectable eateries! I'm always looking for good places to eat and love to give small businesses my business. Smiley Thai To Go is one of these places. It's just plain delicious. The service was fast but delightful, and the food was out of this world for "to go" food. Appetizers: Thai spring rolls, which were just amazing; soup: Tom Yum was flavorful..Main dishes consisted of garlic/black pepper with chicken and sweet/sour with chicken and both were mouth watering!!!
China King
I love this place! I’ve had such a hard time finding good Chinese food for a good price. I got the lunch special Sesame Seed Chicken with white rice which comes with an egg roll and I added a soda and only pay a little over $10. The chicken was fried perfectly with just enough sauce and the egg roll was the freshest I’ve ever had before. The lady running the store is so sweet and makes sure you’re taken care of. I will be ordering from China King from now on and I recommend it to others.
This is the spot! The flavor was jam packed and they really make the extra effort to take care of their customers. 100% will recommend and I’ll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
La Isla Restaurante
I was looking for a latino place to eat while in my training and found this place. Chicken was good and juice, service fast but that rice and beans were bland and tasteless . I had to add salt and pepper for flavor. Got the lunch special which includes 2 sides . Just know that rice and beans will make your 2 sides
Was in the mood for Mofongo and this place did not fail at all. The mofongo were really flavorful and tasty. The lechon was seasoned really good. The pastelillos were also delicious. Only pickle that bothered me was the arroz con guandulez had pegao in it and it bothered me cause I don’t like pegao. That was a bummer. Everything else was delicious! Definitely would go back!
China Wok - Disston Plaza
The food used to be amazing. Not so much anymore. The portion size is half of what it used to be. They should be ashamed of themselves! Also, it’s freaking rice. So now we over charging for rice. Blows my mind$100 later
Ordered a pint of vegetable fried rice at 5pm on a Friday. There were so many fresh vegetables in it I didn't know how to handle myself. Fresh and tasted great.
Mr. & Mrs. Crab - Pinellas Park
Great seafood boil offered here! Great local draft-the Cigar City Jai Alai 16oz for only $6. Be sure to get the sausage in the boil too! I’m glad we listened to our server, Zay & had the spice level at Medium House Spice!
I had $100 gift card I got for Christmas so I made the most of my first time here, spending all of it. Absolutely worth every penny, and I'll definitely be back. I'm on the verge of a Thanksgiving level food coma right now, and I ended up bringing a bunch home too. It was just so tasty, and there was so much. It's not often I reach a point where I just stare at what's left and think "there's no way I can finish this, and it's way too much to throw away". Jamie is a great server. He seems like he enjoys being there, and he knows his customer base. The atmosphere is a nice balance between getting your hands dirty at a backyard crab boil, and a clean sit-down restaurant where you don't have to worry about cleaning up a mess. The scissors and plastic lined buckets at the tables are a nice touch.
Chopstick Express
We have used Chopstix express for several years. They used to be great but over the last year we have watched the prices for Rainbow Rolls increase from about $10 to $15 and the size of the rolls vary each visit, sometimes very small and mostly whitefish. The drivethrough backs up much more than it used to. We compared this to a sit down Sushi place that also does take away. Rainbow Rolls are $12.50 and no waiting for pickup. Sad I really liked Chopstix Express but now they are too expensive and too long a wait. Photo on the left was Chopstix Express, Two rolls on Right our new favorite restarant.
I appreciate chopstick express staying open during the holidays. I ordered the bourbon chicken, crab Rangoon, and egg drop soup. The food was hot and delicious. The staff is friendly, and it has a good atmosphere. I definitely would like to try this place again!
Big Apple Buffet & Sushi
The food was good. But some items were cold
Very big selection with sushi bar and hibachi grill. Very tasty!! Everytime we go our server is great and food is always on point.
Cafe Masala
Been coming here for years. Food quality and portion is excellent. Extremely kind service. Of all the places near by, this is the only one I will keep coming to. Definitely worth your time and money.
Cute little Indian spot. Stopped in for lunch. Tried their paneer lunch bowl. It was pretty good. Not as spicy as I expected, but it was still good. The mango lassi was delicious.
Village Inn
Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The waitress got my husband's order wrong, so had to wait for a new omelet. Ice tea was empty halfway through our meal. Never got a refill. Had to wait for our check. 18% gratuity fee added for poor service. $50.00 check for breakfast for two. One breakfast skillet, one omelet, one coffee, tea & orange juice. That's ridiculous.
Loved it! Some many options to choose from. Amy was amazing! I had the Ultimate Skillet and I wasn't disappointed. Definitely going back. This is absolutely one of my favorite spots! The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. I can't imagine St. Pete without Village Inn on 4th street. They rock!
Sawatdee Thai & Sushi
I usually rate most restaurants very highly, but I found this misleading for this restaurant. The people running the restaurant were very sweet. The food was extremely salty and heavy. especially compared to other Thai places. To give them a very generous benefit of the doubt though: This may be personal preference, as Asian customers might prefer weaker seasoning and salt, so the food could be catered to a different palate.
Love love love this place. Food is top notch and we always end up loving everything. We usually order takeout and every time it is packed very well. We will continue to recommend this gem!
Café Bich Nga
Unusual name but the food is good as a Bich!!! The food is Vietnamese and close to original. I have been here more once and it’s safe in terms of finding a good joint to get some fresh food to avoid driving around and wasting time. Can you go wrong with pho? NO🤣
Literally amazing. The service was amazing, the waiter was extremely attentive and checked up on us and was very friendly. I got the Pho Rau Cai - pho with vegetables and they offered to add tofu which was so thoughtful and tasty. It was probably the best pho I've ever had. The broth was so flavorful I almost didn't need to add their additional sauces like I usually would. The toppings and veggies were all so fresh. The portions are large which means I basically got two meals out of it.
Green Pagoda
Food is delicious, prices are right. So glad we chose this place for dinner. Chicken clay pot basically tastes like a cross between a panang curry and a regular red curry, but it was very well done. Wife got the seafood stir-fry. Hers included octopus, even though it didn't say it would on the menu, but she enjoyed it. Her friend got one of the sushi rolls and she enjoyed that as well. Edamame appetizer was nice. Spring rolls were alright as well, although a tad mushy, like they overcooked the filling. Only complaint I had about the meal, though. Would easily return. They have something for everyone here.
EXCELLENT food. We split a spicy tuna roll which, rather than being stuffed with typical spicy mayo was drizzled with sriracha, a welcome variation. Then had the drunken noodles - hot - and they were fantastic, full of basil, garlic, and a delicious amount of heat from the spice. A lot of great looking cocktails - HIGHLY recommend the Wrong Turn if you're into mezcal. Derek was on top of his service game. We'll be in frequently to try the rest of the menu.
