Lotus Chinese Kitchen
Lotus is a Chinese American restaurant that has been in business since 1975. It originally opened in Wilton Manors and reopened in 2022 at its new location. This was my first visit; it was a mixed bag. My favorite dish was the Singapore Mei Fun, a classic Cantonese dish they executed very well. I thought the kitchen had a hefty hand with the MSG and/or salt (especially the wonton and the egg drop). Wontons were doughy. The hot and sour lacked heat but had vinegar; you'd be better off spiking it at the table or bringing it home for takeout and hitting it with chile crisp and white pepper. The other fried dishes, such as orange chicken (White meat) and bang bang shrimp, were coated with a particularly gloppy cornstarch-thickened sauce and were overly sweet. I liked the Mongolian beef (although I think a black bean sauce or oyster sauce would be better). The fried rice was okay; it was undoubtedly adequately seasoned and had wok hey but was very “basic.” The soy sauce was very light, and I would have liked the use of dark soy and more pork and more scallion and also bean sprouts. If you ordered the genuine Cantonese things as opposed to the American style, you would be much better off; the owner told me he could prepare them, so the next time I go here, I'm going that route instead.
Excellent Chinese food ~ this is our regular go-to place! The food is definitely a step above - big pieces of chicken, tasty sauces & delicious egg drop soup! Every waitress we have had Has been fun and friendly. The owner stops to check on your table. Recommend.
Rice N' Wings Inc
First, this place is like secret club they don't want you to find. The food didn't make me sick, which is always a plus. I got the lunch special. Curry Shrimp. Ordered extra shrimp.. EACH EXTRA SHRIMP COST A DOLLAR A PIECE!! So much for lunch prices. Food tasted fine. Egg roll was small.
Worst customer service ever. Its also a very nasty place eat. Just go alround and see through the windows, we're you can see the meat on the tables where they supposed to store it and cut their meat. You can see the mouse 🐁 all over the place, eating from the meat their leave open. As a manufact I will report this to be on a inspection. They don't deserve not even one ☆ star. Go and see 👀 it and taste what I am rating 😏 Good luck on your meal.
P.F. Chang's
Excellent restaurant! Patricia, who was our server, made us have a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. Service was great. The manager came by our table too. Five stars for everything.
P.F. Chang's offers a delightful dining experience with its unique take on Asian cuisine. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from flavorful stir-fries to their famous lettuce wraps, which are a must-try. The ambiance is modern and inviting, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. Service is attentive, ensuring that every need is met promptly. I appreciate the emphasis on quality ingredients, as each dish is well-prepared and delicious. Overall, P.F. Chang's is a reliable choice for anyone craving tasty Asian-inspired fare in a comfortable setting.
Great Wall II
Large portions and fresh ingredients .mostly take out but there is a small eating area 4 tables and chairs
I went to buy lunch ordered the pepper steak the meat was slimy and tasteless, Gave me a bad headache the rest of the day then I broke out in a rash! Have no idea what kind of meat this was will never go there again and plan to report them!
China Sea
Stopped here for a quick snack during my break. Took a long time deciding, yet they were patient. Finally settled on a small house fried rice and an order of fried baby shrimp. Portions were very large and totally worth the price. I could tell the oil is really clean there. LOVED the fried baby shrimp so much that I went back for more. House fried rice was not too moist or too dry but just PERFECT!
Amazing service! we tried to order a tray of fried dumplings and they were really kind, telling us that the potstickers only came in orders of 6, so we asked them to put 3 orders in a tray, and they agreed. Dumplings were amazing! definitely coming back.
China Taste
I have enjoyed ordering Chinese food here for a few years now. Never any issues. Customer service is good in person and over the phone to order. I have good conversations with the guy when I order and pick up.
This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant around, but now it's horrible! The last time I went a couple months ago, I got super greasy food, so I got a partial refund and never went back. Today, I was hungry and said let me give it a try 😭. I promise, the Sweet and Sour Chicken was old, and the shrimp fried rice was dry. I gave the food away, and now I'm sitting here with a tummy ache. THEY DON'T GET A 3RD CHANCE! I'm done.
Crazy Wok
If I'm told that my order will be ready in 15 minutes and I end up waiting 45 that's horrible service. At this point it doesn't matter if the food is good or not I'm too angry to enjoy it. If the kitchen is overwhelmed pause taking orders until you catch up or be transparent with customers regarding potential wait times.
Oh my God. The food is amazing! I live 25 mins away and I have to say it’s worth the drive. The food is on point!!!
Rice and Bubble Tea
I wish I read the low score reviews before I ordered as I only saw the good ones. The older couple that run this place in a gas station were very nice. The food is horrible. I literally took 2 bites and couldn’t eat it. My wife also said there was a very strange chemical taste. The spring rolls were tasteless and the vegetables looked frozen. The sauce had a strange taste as well. We just threw it away. There are many choices in the area and this one won’t be revisited by us ever.
Gas station Chinese take out food with good reviews so I had to give it a shot. Egg rolls were over cooked in "old" oil. Food was a good quantity and order was correct. Food was meh on flavor. Not a good quality sauce or anything special. Ate what we could and it wasn't leftover worthy so we tossed it. Lesson learned. Very friendly couple cooking and the order was correct. Just not the flavors I was hoping for,.
Great Wall Coconut Creek | Since 2001
I absolutely love the House Special Lo Mein at Great Wall! They don’t skimp on the ingredients—the noodles are packed with tender chicken, flavorful beef, and juicy shrimp, all cooked to perfection. The portion size is generous, and every bite is full of delicious, well-seasoned flavors. Another great thing about this place is the affordable prices. You get high-quality food at a great value, and you can even grab a satisfying lunch for only $8! If you're looking for a delicious meal that won’t break the bank, Great Wall is definitely the place to go! 🔥
first time trying this place. We ordered from uber eats. Best chinese food I have had in south fl. Fried rice was actual fried rice not that yellow soft rice we get at other places that looks like pilaf. Meat is good quality not rubbery or questionable. Eggrolls are excellent. WE WILL BE BACK
Chowology: Asian Kitchen
The food was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect portion and left you satisfied. The butterfly pea flower boba was so refreshing and not too sweet! Price was very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back! Also, LOVE the One Piece decor :)
Chowology in Pembroke Pines is an amazing spot for creative and flavorful Asian fusion dishes! Their miso ramen bowl is delicious, with rich, savory broths and ingredients. The General Mafia Chicken is fantastic. The red bean buns and Handsome Kimchi Fries are also standout items. The boba teas definitely hit the spot! The restaurant has a casual yet welcoming vibe, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a casual dining experience with fantastic food, Chowology is a must-visit! CANTON 18 (Kosher)
Very nice glat kosher restaurant in Hollywood Fl, run by mom and pops style next to shopping-mall restaurant luring diners with a large menu & kosher credentials. Clean and very spacious place. So I had to order more than once in order for me to give an honest review. I have seen good and bad reviews about the food and some are right but most are truly overreacting. First time I ordered I had some issues with the vibe and short attitude of the girl in the front but figured it was a bad day. 2nd time I ordered was yesterday and seems it is a habit for the girl that answer the phone and hand the order for pickup to be very short with people plus seems to miss instruction when you order. The tables they put outside filling with people is a hazard! We almost fell because there was no room to pass hope that will be addressed. As for the food: The flavor is actually good, much better then the usual American Chinese where it's usually way to oily and with a bad after taste while the flavor here was pretty good BUT there some lack for details and few shortcuts they doing. The stir fry chicken for the sesame chicken amd others seems like it's tossed with corn starch or some flour, which made it a bit sticky. The snow Pease are not being cleaned in the edges so you can't even chew them because you ending up spitting the sticks from the edges of the snow Pease, any restaurant or home cook you take a moment to chop the edges. The chicken egg rolls had a very big amount of residue flour, which make it impossible to eat, I felt I was biting into en egg roll covered in uncooked flour ( shame because flavor seems good ) The flavors are absolutely there and with some small attention to details and with a small adjustment to the attitude of the front girl the place can be so much better. This is by no means a cheap place to eat so don't expect to spend same as a hole in the wall Chinese but at the same time for what I pay I expect not to clean my food instead of the kitchen and I don't need to feel like I need to walk on egg shell talking to the girls in the front. Will I order food here again? Absolutely, but I will ask them to adjust few things and I will address the attitude if I encounter it again. I love to support home family restaurants and even though I ended throwing few items away I will still give it a 3rd chance and will update the review good or bad. I added picture of those snow Pease as example what should have been cleaned like any other place.
Hong’s BBQ
Everything was pretty good, most ribs were a little hard but great flavor steamed dumpling was a little soggy only because it was delivered. The beef soup with noodles had so much flavor it was delicious
