Yeung House & Poke
Update: 3 months ago Food was good! May 23 : New Chef - food changed not for the good. More veggie, less flavor, less meat/sliver size vs 1-2" pieces , more $$ in price. Taste is very different. Ordered online and had delivered. Paid $70. This time. Not happy. See pictures below. Dark brown dish was great months ago. Now veggie see last picture. Talked with Manager. She said No credit, no remake and times change.
I ordered the chicken broccoli from the combination items, I got delicious crunchy broccoli, lightly salted ... a fresh egg roll and the crunchy staff. The owner was there greeting some other people as she knew them from a long time...very welcoming lady. We will be back ...
Bei Jing Chinese Food
Found HAIR in my food after eating half of the rice. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN! I CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE FOLLICLE ON THE STRAND! They have horrible customer service! They frequently get your order wrong! They get upset if you call and complain! They are rude and this is the last straw!
So disappointing, they messed up our entire order. We received 3 orders of white rice instead shrimp or ham fried rice. Their house lo mein was loaded with meat, but absolutely tasteless. Not a single one of our drink order was delivered, plus no one seems to be able to reach them over the phone.
China Sky
Not sure why there's only 3 something stars for China Sky. This place is DELICIOUS! Ordered this for our Christmas meal, as a recommendation from a coworker and it did NOT disappoint! The food was fresh, cooked to perfection and not over salty. The veggies were crispy fresh, the shrimp was cooked just right and the beef was tender. This is our new go-to! Yummy! Thank you! And.. it's reasonably priced! 👏
This place is a total vibe. They are always so busy but they take your order super fast and you get your food super fast. The crab rangoon is seriously so good. Fried dumplings as well. And for the price it's a steal. When I'm feeling cheeky I'll go next door and get some chicken tenders because it goes perfectly with the duck sauce and sweet and sour.
China Garden Chinese restaurant
I've been all over Florida, Georgia and Texas looking for good Chinese food. Finally found it. I don't like that they used yellow rice in their fried rice rather than white rice with soy sauce that is the proper way but the rice was surprisingly flavorful so I'm ok with it. The chicken wasn't overcooked like most places it was good. The cherry sauce oddly had a ketchup smell but tasted good so I'm okay with it too. This is the first Chinese restaurant I've seen that put salt on their fries i loved that. Overall everything tasted good so I loved it. I will be back again tomorrow. This meal and fries added only cost me $13 so that's a great price for good tasting food nowadays. Definitely recommend
First visit. Ordered sesame chicken. I don't know they used, but when I did find piece of meat, it definitely was inedible. Very chewy. Took it back. Girl behind counter said "some people like, some people don't like. Didn't offer refund until I requested it.
China Wok
Listen if you place an order for delivery and specifically ask them to ensure they send duck sauce and soy sauce you get your order and nothing is there. i spent $27 on food plus a tip and waited over an hour to get the food and not able to eat it. Then i call the restaurant i have to hear ooh they forgot it and we don’t have drivers but you expect us to tip then which I did plus be charged a service fee. How rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate. Trust me I won’t be ordering anything else from CHINA WOK.
Please have the cooks use hair nets. First time ordering from this location detailed review: Order: Dinner combination pepper steak with pork fried rice and egg roll. With added appetizer of Teriyaki skewer. Order through Uber Eats for delivery. Pepper Steak: 70% onions and peppers 30% steak. Note: taste was good, but meat needs to be cut in smaller pieces unless they are going to include a knife in the silverware. Pork Fried Rice: Average not great not bad. Egg roll: The better of the pork egg rolls served by Chinese takeout locations. 👍 Side Order Teriyaki Skewer: Average taste, decent size. Issues: #1 Not sure who is to blame with this one whether it be Uber Eats or the restaurant, ordered and stated 20 minute delivery, took an hour for delivery to be completed. #2 Human hair found in pork fried rice, three different one inch long black hairs. Recommendation have your staff wear hair nets please. #3 order notes were added to request a knife and fork, fork and spoon provided note from restaurant is that they do not have knives. Okay I completely understand, recommendation is that you do order some plastic knives because many customers may be eating on the run or in their office where they may not have a knife to cut the meat, in my situation my office was out of knives that is why I requested one, the portions of meat in the pepper steak we're too large to put into your mouth in one bite and became quite messy trying to eat without a knife to cut it. Not a major complaint or anything but should probably think to include plastic knives with your silverware sets. Price average for the marketplace. Disclaimer Readers: Please note this was not a bad experience. This Chinese takeout is in the middle of the Heat it is not that bad so don't take this as a slanderous review. I'm sure you will be happy with your order. I just believe in doing meticulous breakdowns of every order. Sometimes this may help a restaurant to understand where their weaknesses are and where they may be able to fix unforeseen issues. Golden Fountain Chinese Kitchen
On our drive to Pullman we stopped by to get Chinese food and this place was absolutely garbage and not up to health code. The restaurant had a melancholy atmosphere and business was barely running. After our meal our family experienced food poisoning and the rest of our trip was absolute misery. I will be tipping the health code services on this restaurant and hope they can get their act together on the health and safety of others. English was barely spoken and I question the owners’ citizenships; overall an extremely sketchy dining experience and hope they’ll realize the health and safety of others without the compromise of earning another dollar.
The first time I ate from this place is thought I was in China! The food is EXCELLENT! I don't know how the previous reviewer had such a terrible experience, but mine has always been top notch, particularly with the food. It DOES take forever to get your food, so if you walk in, prepare to wait! For me, the taste makes up for it. I also love that I get to sit and watch the three chefs go to work... Highly recommend this place for take out.
Lion Chef Chinese Restaurant
Good 'New York Style' Fried Rice and Lo Mein! Better than others in the area. Had a Jumbo Ham fried rice and it was a huge trat, good taste with onions and scallions, you may have to add a pinch of salt to your own liking. Great pork Lo Mein. Had egg rolls and they were ok, more spring roll filling than egg roll in my opinion, but not bad. They take your order at a service window at the door. Will definitely go again!!
I've read the past reviews but I've had nothing but great experiences (about 6 different times so far), both with their food and service. The restaurant could use a makeover but my orders have always been cooked to order and have tasted great. I'm originally from NY and this reminds me of the Chinese food places there. Perhaps with some of the past reviews, there were language issues since the owner speak very little english. Otherwise, it's a good place with a large amount of choices on their menu.
Asian Chao
They are purposely giving less quantity meat I even had to tell them to add more rice but no decrease in prices. I told the employee and he stated that they are following what the owner said. So he admitted that they are giving less food. The last time I ever buy food from here !! I'm sure next door asian would love my business instead. On top off that food wasn't as tasty as before. SOOO DISAPPOINTED IVE BOUGHT FROM HERE FOR YEARS.
Food looks appetizing. The BBQ pork was flavorful. Beef didn’t have much flavor or spice unfortunately. The rice tasted a bit old. Another Ron Smith, Coral Springs, FL review.
China Star
We are trying to find a great Chinese food place and this one is close to great! We had the best egg rolls we’ve had in a very long time! Super crispy on the outside, not too greasy and the vegetables inside were crunchy and fresh. The shrimp fried rice was so delicious. I will say that the pork fried rice I got with my spicy chicken was not as good. I assume they make their pork fried rice ahead of time and the shrimp fried rice was made to order, that’s why it was better! Best of all their prices are amazing. I can appreciate them offering a meal for only 10 dollars. In this economy that is amazing and hard to find. We will be ordering again!
I threw it right in my garbage can. I had ordered pepper steak and onion with pork fried rice. It was so salty and disgusting. Whatever meat it was had a very thick brown sauce which was horrible. The rice isn't a type of rice I've ever had before. Miniscule fractions of something but I couldn't figure out what. This isn't real Chinese food at all.
Golden Jade Chinese Restaurant
I usually don't give reviews but this was HORRIBLE. The food was HORRIBLE! No taste whatsoever and it tasted OLD. I ordered pepper steak and what I basically got was peppers & onions with tiny bits of steak. The pork fried rice was not fried rice; it was just rice with a brown liquid, no pork, no veggies or any of the ingredients that all Chinese restaurants include in their fried rice. The wonton soup was awful ; the wontons were overcooked falling apart and the soup itself was like a pinkish color and smelled like bleach. I also ordered teriyaki chicken on a stick; they were extremely salty, and they were hard almost like beef jerky, they had freezer burn and smelled like they had been refrigerated for a very long time. This was dreadful and the worst Chinese food experience I have ever had. I had to discard all of the food because it was not edible. The pictures don't do justice to what I'm describing. Never again!
I’ve been coming here for years. The food is fresh delicious and a good price. I highly recommend it.
Hong Kong Dim Sum
Has ordered from the place since 10 years ago. Dim Sum is always authentic and consistently delicious. You don’t want to miss this place. Since we don’t have authentic dim sum restaurant in Central Florida, so we order big frozen dim sum order with them and they deliver all the way up. Good services, good owners made good dim sum. Price of course is reasonable and fair. Please try it if you like real authentic dim sum!
Very kind, and very delicious. I was very disappointed when they stopped selling their lunch specials, but I still buy the frozen shrimp dumplings. #1 dim sum in all of the state!
Wingloon Chinese Food Takeout
Wing Loon has quickly become my go-to spot for takeout Chinese food in the area. During my recent visit, I ordered the General Tso’s Shrimp, Vegetable Lo Mein, and a Spring Roll. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. The General Tso’s Shrimp was perfectly cooked, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy flavors, and the vegetables in the Lo Mein were fresh and crisp. Despite its unassuming appearance, Wing Loon consistently delivers high-quality food at great prices. It’s a hidden gem that always satisfies my cravings for Chinese cuisine. The portions are generous, and I’ve never been disappointed with the taste or the quality of the dishes I’ve tried. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. What also stands out is the friendly and efficient service. The staff at Wing Loon are always pleasant and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you’re picking up your order or dining in, they make you feel valued as a customer. If you’re looking for reliable and delicious Chinese takeout, Wing Loon is definitely worth a visit. It’s a place where you can expect consistently good food and friendly service, making it a favorite in the area.
To be honest, it looked a little sketchy at first, but since being in Fort Lauderdale for two years, it’s one of my favorite Chinese places!! The food is always amazing and they’re quick with the service!
