Sumo Japanese Restaurant
I have ordered here before and it’s always good. First, I will say I ordered at 8:26 PM and they close at 9 PM. But this was my order tonight. Shrimp and steak were way over, cooked rice was mush, salad was entire iceberg leaves. I will give it another shot, can’t judge on one time.
Delicious food, waitress issues. There are a couple of waitresses that usually work here together or alone. One with eyeglasses is sweet as can be with a great smile and super pleasant manners and service. The other has a mean face and attitude, enough to ruin my last meal when she rolled her eyes when I ordered. It’s a crapshoot when you go which waitress you’ll get. I’m improving the odds by never going back there again and that’s a shame. I’ve seen a couple of similar comments in other reviews so why should I spend money here if she makes it an unpleasant experience and the area has multiple other Japanese restaurants to enjoy.
Taste of India Melbourne
We were attracted by good reviews, but don’t trust them if you like good restaurants. The decor is very nice but at the same time hallway serves as a storage room and restrooms are way dirty. Loud music has nothing to do with the Indian restaurant. Service was very disappointing, not welcoming, rushing us out and not very friendly. We ordered lamb, was good but not delicious. Eggplant dish was extremely spice( we specified a non spice order and had to return it). Instead of apology I felt stupid trying to protect my rights as a customer. Nan was not tasty, rice was low quality and looked very cheap. Prices are high while dishes are smaller than in other places. No compliments before or after, which could be nice with their prices. I left disappointed with burning mouth, upset stomach and desire to share this so this issues can be addressed! People deserve to be treated well! We pay you and support your business. It is a shame that you serve dangerously spicy food that can harm someone like me, by kitchen mistake. And by previous reviews it happens on a regular basis. Shame on chef who blames a customer not apologize. Manager doesn’t care and didn’t make an effort… be careful. If the owner read this, the place is not managed well, maybe that’s why is empty. I wish prosperity for all and joy for customers. Piece
Fantastic food!! With only a few Indian restaurants in Brevard, Taste Of India is by far my favorite thus far. The inside decor is beautiful. Lots of gilded gold and brass accents and statues with a stunning ceiling that makes me want to redo mine at home. They offer a simple drink menu of soft drinks, teas, lassis, wine and beer.. no liquor, but for a small place, a common thing. The menu is colorful with lots of pictures, so very helpful for anyone who is or is not accustomed to Indian food fare. The service was a little sluggish, but all of our orders came out hot and correct. The food is so fresh and has so much flavor! The palak paneer is my favorite, followed by the mix grill and the lamb chops. All the meats are perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Don’t forget the lamb or cheese naan! Healthy portions. Made from scratch recipes with a beautiful interior, Taste Of India will not disappoint.
Frigate's Waterfront Bar & Grill - Melbourne
Overall: Forced Valet parking (no free parking), expensive food (tastes good), and squished seating. Food ordered: Blackened chicken and brie sandwich, Blackened chicken mac and cheese, buffalo wrap (not pictured), molten lava cake, buffalo tender appetizer and guacamole appetizer. What I liked: the food was amazing. Very good and my family liked all of their meals they ordered. My son really liked the mac and cheese and wants to go back for more. I got the buffalo wrap which was very good and my wife got the chicken and brie sandwich and she enjoyed it. My daughter got a cake for dessert and said it was the best part of her meal. My other son who only ate the tender appetizer liked that the railroad tracks go over the river and you can see trains go by from our table. Areas to improve: the parking lot is valet only parking and there are only like 20 spots available. I feel like they just wanted to take even more money from customers. Speaking of money, the prices on the menu are outrageous. $17 for a little rinky dink size wrap? It tasted good but the size did not match the price. Now for seating: we waited for a table (group of 9) outside as it was a nice day and they brought us to a table with only six chairs and the hostess assured us it seats 9. It was a tight squeeze and should have only seated 7 at most on the round table but she kept insisting it would fit. There was a large 10 person table across the patio area that remained empty the entire time we were there so I don't know why they couldn't move us. Food took a while after ordering (about 45 minutes) to come out but it was all hot and flavor was good. I didn't even want to know how much the adult drinks were since the prices are not posted on the menu. There is a note on the menu that groups of 8 cannot split the check so I guess that exists.
Loved this place! Outstanding atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had great service. The food was really tasty as well. We got the fish dip, grilled mahi sandwich, and seafood pasta. Can’t wait to bring guests here!
Al Baik Kabob and Gyro House
We came for lunch. We came back for dinner. At this point, we might as well set up a tent outside. The chicken gyro platter? Delicious. The lamb gyro platter? Also delicious. The lamb gyro itself? You guessed it—delicious. Even the kids loved it, and they usually act like eating is a chore. The fries were perfectly seasoned, the hummus was smooth and creamy, and the service was quick and friendly. Plenty of parking too, so no need for a parallel parking meltdown. And then there was the baklava. Nearly $5 for a tiny piece? My wallet winced, but my taste buds rejoiced. Buttery, crispy, sweet—so packed with flavor, I think I briefly saw into the future. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back… probably tomorrow.
We have been to Athens and several Greek restaurants here in the US and Canada. This was the best Gyro I've ever had, my wife got a Greek salad and raved about the flavor and size! They are geared more to take out but there are several tables and outside tables too!
Phở Cali Restaurant
This was my first time visiting Pho Cali Vietnamese Noodle House, and I decided to try it based on recommendations from a few people on Facebook. The location is easy to find, conveniently situated on Wickham Road. I ordered their Combo Special Pho, which felt like the perfect choice for the chilly 54-degree weather. The food arrived in less than five minutes, which was pleasantly surprising. The broth was clean and had a slightly sweet undertone, though it didn’t quite meet the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The variety of meats in the combo was less than I expected, but overall, I was still satisfied with the meal and will certainly come back to try their different food on the menu.
We were in Melbourne one night and decided to try Pho Cali. Everything we had was delicious and service was friendly and quick. The pork spring roll was pretty thin but everything was fresh. The banh hoi thit nuong and pho were absolutely delicious! Would def come back if we’re in the area.

If you have the chance to visit, don’t hesitate. It’s definitely a place you’ll return to again and again!
When we first arrived we waited at the end of the entrance as we didn’t know if it was seat yourself or wait to be seated. We made eye contact with a female waitress and she looked at us and walked away, we then heard a guy from behind the sushi bar tell us it was seat yourself. Once sat we had a male waiter get our drinks and appetizer order. He was very personable and friendly. I remember making a comment to my husband that he’s a good waiter. Appetizers came out quickly. We then placed our main meal. The waiter was great with making sure we had plates and setups. Food was delicious and hot. About half way through our meal we asked for a refill on water and he must have gotten side tracked or busy with the sushi bar party that came in. So my husband went up to the sushi bar counter and the female waitress ignored him. And the guys behind the counter said that someone would be right over. So he came and sat back down. We finally got our refill but that was after we all had finished eating and were ready for a check. My husband got irritated but as someone that works in the same industry I know how easily it can be to get overwhelmed or forget things. Overall great place, we’ll come back and give it another try for sure.
Squid Lips
Worth the stop for the atmosphere as much as the food and drink. Lots of bar and dining space, indoor and outdoor by the water. Domestic beers and frozen cocktails were on special during happy hour. Amber provided fantastic service to our table. The food was good - we’d recommend the Bahamian chowder instead of the Calamari.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently dined at Squid Lips in Melbourne, Florida, and had a delightful experience. The food was fresh and flavorful; I particularly enjoyed the fried calamari, which was amazing. The atmosphere was exceptional, offering a chill, laid-back vibe with waterfront views that enhanced the overall dining experience. However, the margaritas were a bit weak for my taste. Despite this, the combination of delicious food and a great ambiance makes Squid Lips a spot I’d recommend and revisit.
Long Doggers
Great service and atmosphere. The patio is definitely a lot to be desired. The wait staff work together and are constantly checking on all tables and not just their own. I think that is what sets this place apart. The Hawaiian burger was absolutely delicious. Love supporting smaller name businesses Happy hour is a nice incentive to visit again
Only took one picture BUT I never thought this place even had ribs OR that they would be so great! Absolutely loved the ribs I guess today is RIB day. I stopped here on my way home I usually go to the palm bay location. I would DEFINITELY order this again!!!!!
Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine
Came here for my birthday with some girlfriends. I ordered the Butter Chicken and it was absolutely great! The service was awesome and the food was even better. I would definitely recommend trying Tandoor if you’re craving Indian Food.
always excellent! they recently changed ownership so if you haven’t been in a while i strongly recommend doing so! their lunch buffet is always amazing— they have staples like chicken tikka masala, tandoor chicken, biryani, veggie curries, and naan which are all delicious. the other items switch out, but the palak paneer and goat curry are my absolute favorites. any time they have goat it is so tender and flavorful. staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive.
Pozzy Bros. Pizza
One our new favorite spots to get pizza from. My kids love it and so do I. Definitely give them a try. They're staff is very welcoming and attentive to your needs. I have tried most of their slices each one was very good!
Ordered the eggplant parm and spaghetti dinner which came with a salad. Restaurant looked clean inside and it was easy to order. I dined in and the staff was kind and helpful, checking in on me during the meal. Nice place over all would come again!
Long Doggers
Love🥰 Long Doggers allways support local. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Kids meal only $6.99 come with drink and ice cream.
Absolutely delicious! Had to go back the next day because the hot dogs were just that good. Also got the pretzel bite appetizer, which I would highly recommend! The portion sizes are perfect, and the service was wonderful. The environment is fun and friendly. 10/10
Taj: Modern Indian Cuisine
Pleasant small restaurant in a mall in Melbourne. They have not put much interest or attention on creating a memorable atmosphere. Service was fine but could be improved by cleaning the tables and booths and drying them . The food was good, with a nice blend of flavors and texture. The Naan, we ordered cheese and sweet naan was very good. The prices were market prices.
DO NOT go to Taj Indian Restaurant in Viera, Melbourne during Buffet at least from our experience!!! Be aware... 7 of us went for buffet around 12:30 pm. Saturday afternoon (Buffet time 11 to 3:00 pm) We went to check the food dishes... 5 out of 10 dishes were empty (see Pics) during a buffet time, imagine. There were only 12 people in total including us in the restaurant, no rush whatsoever. We told the restaurant waiters to refill the empty dishes 3 times nicely in a span of 30 mins but nothing happened but only told us yes it's coming... Keep in mind there's no rush of people, not busy in the food line still after 30 minutes. We already started to eat from the remaining half empty dishes. Then I started to take pictures and videos of empty dishes, and sure enough not to anyones surprise food started to roll in. But they still didn't fill up the pots entirely. Once we started to eat and go for 2nd and more, empty used plates started to pile up on our table, no one came to take them away or clean up...not even once... We paid and still no one came to take them away. As far as the quality of the food goes, it was not bad and I wouldn't miss it once I walk out of that door. I think I had enough of an experience at Taj restaurant not go go back again.
