I was happy with my lunch here. We got a couple of dishes to share and an appetizer, and it was all good. My favorite part was the pickled cabbage with the Manila pork BBQ dish. We also got general Tso chicken and fried lumpia.

I highly recommend this restaurant, I asked one of the transit staff their favorite place to eat in the station and was directed here. If you can get past how high in elevation you’ll be, then you have a great meal and service ahead of you. I ordered shrimp fried rice w/ steamed broccoli (not sure of the exact platter name), it was great and refreshing. The plate had me set for my journey ahead, thanks again.

Yes it’s cash only. The Wings & Fries with Mumbo Sauce All over is Beyond Legendary. Ice tea and lemonade mix goes hard too. I get same thing everytime and it has not failed me yet. It’s No thrills but worth every penny and always hits the spot. Best Wings & Fries in the DC area. Wings breaded properly and fries are crispy not soggy

Had the chicken teriyaki and tenders with fries. Both were great, only the fries could be a bit better. Overall great value for the price, but the waiting area is quite sketchy.

Unable to eat beef anymore, I was surprised how delicious the chicken pho was. The broth was savory, with all the spice notes of the beef version. They also had great service and a clean and comfortable environment.

First time we came here it was great. Food was good and the two guys serving us are very attentive. We came back the next night, and this time two female was our waitress. They were more interested in their own mobile phone than to serve customers. This time food was below average. We won’t be coming back again

We had the general tsao, Mongolian beef, and vegetable fried rice; it was all delicious. Customer service was great as well. It’s probably the best Halal Chinese food I’ve ever had.

A small restaurant with a large menu of Chinese and other Asian dishes. My friend and I shared Singapore Noodle Vegetable ($15.95) and White Meat Orange Chicken ($16.95). We enjoyed our lunch and noticed how good all the food being served looked. Located close to the Metro and just a few blocks from the Phillips.

Celebrated with my friends here, the atmosphere, the food, the staff, and customer service were outstanding. We had a great time her and left with full belly. Food was on point and much better than most other places. Enjoyed the experience. Best of all everything was sooooo clean.

Shanghai lounge rocks because it's not trying to prove anything this is freshly prepared Chinese food the traditional way and the ingredients are pretty good love their eggplant love their shrimp love their soup buns and love their service oriented owners and servers that want to make you happy. I am raising the rating of the food to five stars. I visited recently and the food was more than excellent. I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in DC..cucumber salad and soup buns yum!

While the restaurant is small, and right off of the busy road. IIt offered a cozy and welcoming atoatmosphere. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful with our orders. The food was really tasty and was prepared to orderl. The steamed soup buns were sooooo good and I had to get a second order before leaving our meal. The chicken in garlic sauce was really flavorful and was something I would get again. The Beef Szechuan was alright but I would probably choose something else next time as it wasn't as flavorful as everything else. All around great section for the evening.

Food was hot and fantastic! Price was great! Service was fast! If you are looking for a no frills Chinese restaurant. This is the place to go. We had the shrimp fried rice, orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken.

The first time I tried this place, I dined in. The sesame chicken with rice was delicious--perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, nice texture, very flavorful--and they gave me a big portion, so I had some leftover for lunch the next day. The second time, I tried the beef noodles and took it to-go because they were packed. That was also good. The place is small inside, not a lot of seating, but the food is fantastic.

Ordered 2 beef noodle soup with a pork burger. Mine is hand shaved and my wife's thin noodle. Loved the noodle and it reminds me of Xi'an famous noodle at NYC which is awesome. I like the texture of the noodle so much. Both Pork burger was not great so wouldn't order again. Pretty plain and unremarkable

I ordered on UberEats yesterday after seeing a TikTok review on them. 10/10 would recommend. I ordered 4wings with mumbo sauce, shrimp egg roll, and shrimp and broccoli. Everything was bomb. Best mumbo sauce in the city hands down. I could tell by the color it was going to be fire! Wings were seasoned and good. Shrimp and broccoli was torch. Shrimp egg roll actually had a nice amount of shrimp. Everything was so goood. Only carry out I’m going to from now on.

Ghetto fabulous, the food though should be inspected by the health department and the metropolitan police department of the district of Columbia. For impersonating a carry out they'll probably let them off with a warning. The pictures should tell the full story and try not to go there at night, you may not make it out alive.

This tiki bar is such a fun spot! The outdoor cocktail patio is absolutely adorable, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for enjoying creative tropical drinks. The inside has a lively atmosphere, though it can get pretty loud, so the patio is a nice escape if you prefer a more chill setting. The cocktails are inventive and delicious, and the service is friendly and quick. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out or a relaxing drink under the stars, this place is a great choice!

Our band played in DC and we were put up nearby. Came to this bar just to check it out and ended up coming back 4 nights in a row after shows and sight seeing. The drinks and food are amazing (please get the beef noodles, they're obviously hand pulled and expertly made). If we had a place like this in Albuquerque, I'd go broke.

Dumplings and Beyond 0

They’ve the best dumplings in town. I tried the fish dumplings for the first time and they were delicious just as other stuffing. The hot pot was a must especially in cold weather. The cucumber salad was just okay. The staff were attentive and efficient. Reservations are not necessary. The restaurant was not crowded on a Saturday noon.

Dumplings and Beyond is a fantastic spot! The food is absolutely delicious, with some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had—flavorful fillings and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself is a humble, unassuming place, which adds to its charm. It’s cozy, and the focus is clearly on serving amazing food. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic dumplings this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Very clean Panda Express! I was very happy to walk in as it felt like a vibrant and well run Panda Express! The team members were working diligently keeping the kitchen and front of house clean, while also looking like they all enjoyed each other's company! That really shows in the service as it's just a more positive atmosphere! I came in for the original orange chicken bowl, and nothing wrong with it. It's the classic orange chicken I've grown up knowing and LOVING!

It’s absolutely unacceptable. How long the line was in the restaurant this evening. Freddy was the manager on duty, and was sooo disrespectful to us. There was not a GM on site. The line was a complete mess. There was no FIFO, the lobby was dirty, no handwashing and very slow cashiers and line persons. Every time I asked for a leader? He claimed he was the GM and we know that’s a lie. There was so much food left on the counters because of a lack of communication to the line persons to keep up throughout and guest ticket times. The restaurant most certainly needs to be staffed better on a Friday night. It’s unacceptable and disappointing. We won’t be back

Checked out CHIKO for their restaurant week dinner menu, which was 4 courses for $40. It was a great chance to try a bunch of different things, and everything we tried was delicious! The kimchi was some of the best I've had. The entre portions were large, and both the orange-ish chicken and the house fried rice were great. I liked that the orange chicken was not too sweet and syrupy like orange chicken at some American Chinese restaurants, and the fried rice was generous with the meat. I can't speak to their regular menu or the standard prices, but I will be back for sure!

Restaurant week spread for $40, tried the pickled daikon, cold peanut noodles, lamb stir fry, and strawberry dessert. A bit more than I planned to spend, but it's 2 meals for me! Both noodle dishes were particularly rich and flavorful, the strawberry cake thing was pretty solid too, though not at that level. Service was quick and quite friendly!
