The food at this establishment is always very good and prepared very well. I like the fact that the food is prepared very well and not over powering with seasonings. It shows me that the owners are very concerned about peoples health and allergies. On your hot spicy sauces, you have a choice of different levels. From no spice to in-between to extremely hot. All food is prepared fresh and you are always greeted with a friendly smile, good conversation and excellent customer service. My only reason for the 4 stars is because they don't deliver. However, the food and customer service is worth the trip. I highly recommend.

Excellent food everything was fresh and hot. Very filling, the only negative thing is it's kind of expensive to order. The beef Lo mein is full of flavor and chewy. The eggroll was perfect not hard crunch. Fortune cookies are always nice to have in the order.

This food was delicious, not greasy and fresh. The donuts were delicious and the eggs tastes fresh every thing was a 5 star rating. I'm always iffy about ordering from the right place, you can tell these people have a clean and respectful familly and there food shows. I work in restaurants for over 20 years I only orders delivery but everything was an amazing experience. Definitely order from this place you will be happy you did. Worth the price. I was very satisfied. I live in New London and I'm happy I didn't ordered from a place near my house. This is the best, you will be happy.

Gave up on this place many years ago but decided to give it another try since it was getting good reviews on one of the Niantic social media groups. Was happily surprised. Food is fabulous, service is fast and friendly. Love the convenience of ordering online and being able to pay at the counter. Asked the woman behind the counter if ownership/staff was new to the place and she said no, it’s been about 6 years. Wish I’d known this 6 yrs ago 😩 Now I’m hooked on their boneless ribs, pork fried rice and General Tso’s bean curd (tofu) I know Chinese takeout is not exactly health food but the food here tastes so much less greasy and salty than others, even the egg rolls! This is my new favorite local Chinese takeout place! If you haven’t tried it in the last 6 yrs, please do. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food and kind people. The food came out incredibly fast, done within 15-20 minutes or less. The orange chicken was good and so was the other noodles that we got. Everything was hot and freshly made. The egg rolls were also very tasty!

This place is a hidden gem. The fried dumplings are UNMATCHED. I would highly recommend them. The young lady at the counter is always so pleasant as well. I don’t stop here often enough.

They are not as good as they used to be. My pork fried rice was cold, dry, and did not taste good at all. My sesame chicken, which was in the same container as the pork fried rice. Guess the rice sat waiting g on the chicken. I'm sure we won't go back. My husband had a pint of pork fried rice his was just as bad as my rice was, except his was warm. I'm just so disappointed that it was not good at all.

My first time eating their food. Food was not even close to ready when I arrived, waited almost 15 mins on top of the 15 mins they said. Food was really really over priced and just ok. Kinda looks like a mix of beef and chicken or some other animal. Not sure.

Brought in some lobsters for them to make 3 dishes out of. The Peking pork is better than NYC. And the best thing they make. Also, the mayo shrimp is nice and delicious They have American Chinese and more traditional dishes. I have not tried the American Chinese dishes

Sigh, spent 30 bucks here for rice to look like it is 7 days old and pork in it 12 years old. GREY? meat isn't supposed to be grey. Immediate red flag. I called and they told me it all tastes that way, no offer to remake it, no offer for refund. Just have to bring it back to get the refund? I'm sorry I have a job don't have time to run back and forth down rt 12. Pics prove it. No wonder you guys have TERRIBLE REVIEWS.

Lousy over priced overcooked 40 bucks for nothing. That tiny portion of watery dried out general taos was 20 bucks, laughable. It would be a rip off even if it was good. Returned it got congee instead which is decent but not for the price.

Avoid This Establishment Do not waste your money dining at this establishment. The food is bland, excessively greasy, and overpriced. Furthermore, the staff displays a poor attitude when asked for basic amenities such as extra plates or forks. Take a look at the receipt for a party of four and you'll understand why I strongly advise against eating here.

We order delivery from here every time we want Chinese. At first, it was just because it's close by, but we keep coming back because the delivery is quick and the food is very good. I have enjoyed everything I've ordered from Lucky House and will be a loyal customer as long as I live in Norwich!

I have eaten a lot of Chinese and Japanese food. Whoever is in the kitchen here makes delicious food with soul. It tastes good, and it is light, so you can just keep eating. Complex enough flavor from simple and delicious ingredients. Couldn't recommend enough. Delivery is also fast, and easy. Thank you very much lucky house!

I went here last night with my fiancé, niece, and nephew. My niece was classified as an adult at 11yrs old and we had to pay the $15.95 for her which wouldn’t have been an issue if it weren’t for the fact that the day before my sister went in with the kids and paid kids prices for all 3 of her kids. I also ended up with a couple pieces of the honey chicken that tasted and looked like fish as well as raw chicken from the coconut chicken. Will not be returning and do not recommend anyone going here. Honestly I would make the drive to either new London or Wiliamantic over going here.

This is our first time here. It’s your typical Chinese buffet. There wasn’t anything outstanding here, but it certainly wasn’t anything terrible either. The waitresses were very intentive at keeping our glasses full. The place seems a little older and a little worn out. The price was good. There is certainly lots of parking.

I never write reviews and I honestly feel bad for having to write this one. But I can’t contain it because this is hands down the worst experience I’ve had with a restaurant thus far in life. For starters, the woman working the phones and register was incredibly rude. I absolutely understand that people have bad days, we all do, but this was excessive. But the worst part of all is what I found in my takeout bag when I got home. I ordered vegetable egg fu young and cold sesame noodles. What I got was…. Highly questionable and basically looks like it’s already been eaten. It wasn’t cheap, either so that adds to my frustration. I really wanted to love this place and I hope I just got them on an off day but this was my experience. Atleast my garbage can got a full meal 🤷🏽‍♀️🥺

We go once a month the family that owns it is so amazing and sweet and there food blows anyone’s food away around here in the state of RI or Conn they are the best we moved 10 years ago to RI from NY kings is authentic real Chinese food we get new dishes every time just to try things we have 8 of us at home we all agree kings Garden is number one we drive 30 min once a month to get it and so do my kids definitely go check them out

Gotta say the only disappointing patt of ther meal was the generic, flavorless, yellow fried rice. I'd rate it a 3, as it was cooked well, good consistency, no hard pieces, no mushy pieces. Pork egg foo young was a definite 9.5. Perfectly cooked, perfect crispy texture and flavor. The dumplings were also great as was the ginger sauce. I'd rate it an 8.5. It's hard to get a perfect dumpling these days without MSG, but these were fairly close. Overall very happy with the meal.
