Everything from the service, ambience, food and music was A-1! Really enjoyed the wings and the ramen was tasty and filling. 10/10! I like that they have a lunch special as well. The pork boa bun was superb and so was the tempura shrimp roll(it was crispy and super fresh and flavorful). Loved this place!

Decided to try this place for lunch and was not disappointed! All of the food was so fresh and flavorful, the staff is so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable, and the prices are great compared to other places. I would definitely recommend!!!

We love Charming-Thai for their authentic and delicious Thai food and hospitality. The food comes out fast, is hot, and homemade. And honestly, I don’t understand why the locals haven’t discovered this hidden gem in our midst. So do yourself a favor and try it out before it disappears like so many of our local businesses that don’t get the love they deserve. Five Stars!

Good food, this new ownership offers more variety of dishes, like sushi and Thai food. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. Definitely, I will be back.

This is my first time trying Hot Pot and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff there made it a really good first place to go. They were really nice and patient with us, they showed us how to get started, make our own custom sauces, how to cook the food, and refilled us when we were low. The food was amazing, there was plenty of tables to choose from, the menu is not hard to look through at all, the place is really beautiful, and once you have it figured out it's smooth sailing!

Worst service ever - called specifically asking for x2 $9 meals and asked “if I pay Apple Pay” & I said I have cash. On arrival they refused my food and said the meal is $24. Menu still says $24 on their sites and I kindly showed them. “We’ll keep the food” Avoid this place!

They added Poke Bowls to their menu that are reasonably priced. I got the Sweet Chili Shrimp and Scallop bowl and it was good. Don't expect a fancy experience because it is a local Chinese Restaurant, but with that said it's the only Poke place in Hartford. They have a nice selection of ingredients. You can chose from a selection of pre designed flavors or create your own. It's made on the spot for you.

Highly recommend, food was amazing, the best noodles and soup I’ve had. The chengu chicken dumplings were delicious. Cozy atmosphere and nice music and the owners are very sweet! Will be back very soon

Quite possibly the best Asian noodle dish I’ve ever had. The twice cooked pork belly was insanely delicious and the fresh pasta combined with the spices was on another level.

I will travel for this food. It was that good. Most places these days are greasy amd lack flavor but not here.

Heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to give it a try on Friday night for some takeout. Their new location is very convenient and on the border of Hartford and West Hartford. Staff was pleasant and service was speedy. The food however, it was mid and just OK especially for the price point. The rice was a bit undercooked and hard. The lo mein lacked flavor and was rather oily. The chicken wings were fried a bit too hard, which made them very dry. Overall, it could’ve been better, especially since this was opening day at their new location. I may give them another try in the future, and while it wasn’t terrible, I’ve had better.

Wow We found out about this place which eating dinner at some friends house. It doesn't look amazing from the outside but the moment you open the doors all of that changes Fresh made delicious dishes The pho was solid and the chicken spring rolls were super full and tasty. Also tried the fried shrimp egg rolls and those were fun and different than other places. Love the hot oil already on the table and we got hot tea We'll definitely be back as the menu is ridiculously huge with so many fun things to try Seems like grandpa sat us and took our meal order while the rest of the family did everything else Highly recommend Prices were also super reasonable especially for our current climate

Let me start by saying, I was raised in a middle class family, and good Vietnamese spots are hard to come by. I saw the reviews who mentioned that “the service is slow”, “the staff is rude” etc. Our visit was simply AMAZING We were greeted right away and sat down at an open table. Our drink orders were promptly put in and we got to looking at the menu. We started with summer rolls (shrimp). The wife makes them at home but let me tell you , (and please don’t tell her) these are FAR superior. The crispiness of each bite coupled with the peanut butter sauce was impeccable. I’m always looking for good banh mi. This place was literally the best I’ve had. Crispy bread coupled with fresh veggies and meats. Coconut shrimp noodle soup was next. The broth was fantastic. Sweet and savory The staff was very friendly and they gave lots of smiles. We will absolutely be going back!

3.5 stars. I love Asian cuisine. I guess I'm sort of a connoisseur when it comes to it lol. I had this place bookmarked for a while. Finally went for a late lunch recently. It's located in the Old Avon Village plaza. There were plenty of parking. The interior was nice; it looked like it used to be a frozen yogurt spot. The hostess/waitress was nice. Unfortunately, there is no kids menu, but we were able to get a small bowl to share our noodles with our toddlers. The food came out slowly, considering we were only 1 out of 3 tables. We ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer; it was very good and fresh with the peanut butter sauce. For my meal, I ordered the Pho House Special; it's $20.95 and has rice noodles, medium rare beef, brisket, and meatballs. This bowl was huge! The flavor was good but the broth was very oily. I added more hoison, chili oil, and siracha for more flavor. We didn't have any sauces and napkins, so we had to flag down the waitress a couple of times. Also, they never refilled our waters. I noticed the prices were very high compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. With everything factored together, I gave them 3.5 stars total.

Service was excellent and food came out quickly. Pho broth was perfectly made and really didn’t need any condiments. Rice and noodle dinner were also excellent. The only negative was the Vegetarian Egg roll was over cooked and bland.

Luck Star has been my go to for years, highly disappointed with the taste and greasy food i received with this last order. Not sure what has happened here but this does not taste the same, I guess it’s time to find a new place. The service and speedy delivery is always great but the food was lacking this time around.

Excellent Indian food. Very flavorful and delicious. The service is excellent. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful inside very nicely decorated. tika masala and Indian curry was outstanding although a small portion in my opinion. The biryani is very good. Our appetizer combo was very very good. we thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and will be returning soon

I’ve been going to Vietnam Restaurant since I was a kid. Almost 30 years. It’s sadly gone downhill. Last time I was there the food was good but there was lots of shell in the crabmeat soup, and there was a giant hair EMBEDDED in the garlic beef. I love this place but that’s just unacceptable. If it was an eyelash or something I’d understand but this was a big hair! The kitchen is obviously not wearing hairnets or anything. Won’t be back for a very very long time. Super disappointed.

Awesome place. Great food... Great atmosphere.... Great service ... The guys behind the counter know their stuff. Excellent prices also. Must check this place out if in the area. They only do breakfast and lunch so they close at 3pm

I like local places with history, good food, and great people and Augie & Ray's is exactly that. The guy that took our order was super friendly and the hot dogs were really good. I recommend the chili dog. No lingering aftertaste. The grilled rolls are fantastic. I will definitely be back.
