China King
The tofu had an unusual texture. I don't think it was tofu! After several visits over the last year, I won't return.
Yum!!! This is the first time that I tried this place here to get take out. I've never been here before and it was a pleasurable experience. The man that answered the phone was friendly and patient. I could understand him. He wasn't rushing me. He told me the total which was nice. I knew how much to bring. When I got there it was ready waiting for me. The man was so sweet and offered me a free beverage. I was eating for Lunch time. The food is fresh. Nice and hot. The boneless spare ribs are delicious!! Definitely the best I've had around in a long time. Now I know a go-to Chinese place.!!! Yay thank you China King for a great lunch today
Island Flames
Ox Tail+Jerk Chicken. Wholesome meal, sooo good. You can taste the love and passion in the food. Thank you my friend! We will be back soon!
Awesome customer service everyone is so sweet!! The food is amazing definitely my go to now!!
China House of Stratford
We ordered subgum wanton, beef lo mein and shrimp egg foo young. It is a decent chinese resto. Their shrimp, beef and chicken were so tender. But nothing special with the taste. They don't have dine in and they don't deliver.
Decent food. General tso's chicken was not spicy. Good portions. Inexpensive. Pick up only. Stayed in a hotel around the corner. Was great for us!
El Rio Lempa
Amazing food and service one of my go to places for pupusa
Pleasant staff, neat and clean atmosphere. Great food. Small neighborhood with limited parking.
Zul Cafe and Grill
Having moved from my mom’s house for a new job after graduating college this past May, I’ve been yearning for a taste of my mom’s Filipino cooking. After typing “Sinigang” into Google maps (my favorite dish), I found that this establishment was only 20 minutes away from my new home. Let me tell you, the cooking at Zul Cafe and Grill is up to par with my mom’s cooking (of course nothing can ever beat mom’s cooking, right?) My Filipino taste buds are very happy that this place exists. The hot food is great, there’s a variety of snack options to purchase, and the staff is very friendly. I even chatted with the owners for a while during my first visit here and you can tell they are dedicated to their business. They’ve earned my regular patronage, as I’m sure they will earn yours. I highly recommend visiting!
This was my second visit and for our first time here would have rated this place 5/5. Maybe we visited on an off day but I didn’t enjoy our experience as much the second time around. Came in with my kids, ordered three boba teas (one strawberry and one taro and passion fruit black tea)…my kid’s strawberry milk tea wasn’t sweet at all, my passion fruit tea was too sweet to the point that I couldn’t drink it). They do have a nice selection of Filipino snacks, tried the shrimp chips and the crispy fried chicken skins, both of which were delicious. Ordered the grilled shrimp with rice for my kids to share and the pancit Bihon for me. My order took 40 Minutes, by the time it was ready my kids had finished eating and were ready to go and I had already had some of my kids’ shrimp and rice (which was delicious and quick to arrive) so I ended up taking it to go/ not eating it. The restaurant is literally someone’s house that’s been converted into a restaurant, so you come in order downstairs and then head upstairs and your food is delivered to your table. It is delivered in takeout trays and they bring you foam plates and plastic utensils. We were the only people eating in on Friday around 12:30 but the restaurant seemed to be busy with takeout orders. I thought the food was good, but the service was just ok and the drinks were a miss. I wish someone communicated that it would take 40 minutes for my dish because I would just have ordered something else from the menu in that case. I feel like I wasted $70 on a lunch and ended up sharing a few pieces of shrimp with my kids, not ideal! I would visit again because I think the food is good but probably just get takeout!
Akita Hibachi & Sushi Japanese Steakhouse
I had an exceptionally great time. Dawn was a great host. Her staff very attentive. We were a party of 30 and they didn't skip a beat. Drinks were 🔥 food delicious. Our Hibachi chef did his thing. I'm from Hartford County and I will be making another trip down very soon
I absolutely loved my experience here. The chef was playful and involved us by asking questions. The woman who took our food and drink order was very pleasant and sweet. After our meal, when we went to pay and leave, she talked to us about the different kinds of sake they have. The food was great. I love the archway fish 🐠 tank! Thank you for the lovely experience.
Ruuthai's Kitchen
To be honest, I’ve come here multiple times and only ever had the beef boat noodles😭. The first time I went to Ruuthai’s I ordered it, and on every subsequent occasion I could simply not hold myself back because I craved the taste so much. It’s a unique flavor with a broth that I would drink by itself it’s so good - my preferred way to enjoy it is to loop the noodles into a spoon, filling the crevices with a rich, flavorful broth and plopping a piece of beef or sausage to top it off. The ensuing bite is a heavenly moment that honestly reminds me why life is worth living. The other dishes also look delicious :) 10/10 highly recommend
Wanted Thai food from a family owed place as we were driving through across country, and was not disappointed. Some of the best Thai food we’ve had, and even pinned it to visit again next year!
Pho Hong Thom
This is a family owned restaurant. Owners are very nice people. We ordered Pho, fried rice and spring rolls. The pho broth is flavorful yet not salty at all, so is the fried rice. The spring rolls with the dipping sauce are delicious. They also serve free jasmine tea and we are big fans of jasmine tea. Parking is street parking, so it's a bit hard to find a spot particularly during peak hours. We will definitely go back again.
Small and comfortable. Not so many menu items that you get lost. And a 3 item VEGAN menu was the highlight! I had the fried yellow noodle with tofu. Filling and flavorful, if a bit too oily. Excellent wait service: fast, comfortable, friendly, priced right and a young man serving the tables who loves his work 👍🏽
Sabor Puerto Chino
Food was decent but the rice didn’t taste fresh. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. This place is new and needs to work out some kinks.
This place did not disappoint. We got 5 orders, (enchilada chicken, pepper steak, sesame chicken, wings, and boneless ribs combos) plus tostones, crab rangoon and the Mango boba tea for under $100. EVERYTHING was fresh and DELICIOUS & huge portions. So good that we’re going back again today to try the sushi this time. Definitely our new go to place!
Fortune Cookie Kitchen
Delicious food, authentic Chinese, egg rolls are the best I've ate ever, the pork fried rice is so tender and full of flavor. The chicken wings were crunchy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The boneless spare ribs my husband ate were so soft and tasted so good and the shrimp fried rice was very delicious. If you're ever in Bridgeport Connecticut, do yourself a favor and stop to get food from this Chinese Restaurant. You will not be disappointed!
Recently came across this location after a quick Google search. I am glad we gave it a try. Food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The fried chicken gizzards were absolutely amazing, and their portions huge.
Family Garden
This place is the best if you want your food to be legit and delicious. They use all the authentic ingredients and cooking technique. I used to live down the street and I frequented this place all the time whenever I was craving that good good. The owner is such a cool woman only thing is she is CRASH ONLY so be prepared for that
Best Chinese take-out restaurant in Bridgeport, CT. Restaurant is clean, great prices that beat the market standard and the service is top notch! Meals are prepared with love and high quality to keep you looking forward to your next experience. Keep up the good work Crystal! Will always keep coming back!
Dragon 168
I give this place a try once a year to see if they’ve gotten any better but they aren’t good. Overpriced for bland food. They are very cheap with the sauce . My shrimp and broccoli was bone dry. They put a barrier at the door so customers won’t enter treating us paying customers like we aren’t welcome.
Pick up location only, very quick and probably best Chinese food option in Fairfield.
