Bamboo China
I ordered sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The chicken was not the normal sweet and sour chicken you would get from a Chinese restaurant. The batter was different and the chicken meat was very dry! The sauce that came with it was oddly thick, had black speckles in it and even had a little fly in it. The best thing was the fried rice, but after seeing everything else I had to pick through every bite, afraid of what I’d find. Instantly feeling queasy after eating. VERY NICE PEOPLE but unfortunately I won’t be back.
Always order from here for my family. I love the pork fried rice and the spare ribs. The sesame chicken doesn't stay behind, and the owners and staff are super sweet and inviting. I will still choose to come back🥰🤗
Nai Restaurant
We had an amazing pre-theater dinner at Nai Restaurant before seeing a holiday show at Alleyway Theater. We made reservations, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. The selection of Thai, Burmese, and Japanese entrees - including bubble tea - and appetizers is vast! We tried a mix of appetizers including the vegetable samosas and edamame. Our entrees included red curry, pad thai, and homestyle chicken curry. The food came out piping hot and was cooked to our exact spice-level requests, which was awesome. All of the food was very flavorful, fresh, and very well cooked and prepared. We also tried lychee bubble tea with tapioca and a thai iced tea. They were great! This is a hidden gem at the end of Main Street and you should add it to your pre-downtown event rotation. It’s close to the arena, the theatre district, the comedy club, the casino, and the convention center. They also offer takeout through DoorDash and Square. Highly recommend! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food is incredible, Banh Mi was bigger than expected for an app…samosas were very crispy
Buffalo Tikka House
Their curries and appetizer is good. Biryani is not that great. Don't miss to have Indian Chai, if you are tea lovers. It's simply superb. Service was good and they are very friendly. Nice restaurant in buffalo for Indians to visit.
We traveled through Buffalo often and try different restaurants. This is the first time we have been here. Fast and friendly service, great food, great taste. Would recommend to anyone. Butter chicken is probably one of the best I’ve had. Will be back
Misuta Chow's
What a super fun spot! We sat downstairs across from the kitchen. It was great vibes! Loved they had a movie playing by the bar and all the decorations and music! The smash burger and the Ramen were AWESOME! The hello kitty mocktail was so good and the margarita was perfect! We went upstairs to check out the awesome arcade and the hello kitty hallway! Highly recommended!
Second time back and still the same vibe. Great service and great food. If you’re in town for a concert, stop over or a game this spot is amazing for a great night of music, arcade games and great service. We had the pork belly bao and the chicken karage and flavours did not disappoint. Right across the street from the Hyatt. Will definitely come again.
Sun Cuisines
This is the first time I went to a Burmese restaurant, so we were wondering if the food would suit our palates. I'm happy to say we loved everything. The place was almost empty when we went, so the service was pretty quick though there was only 1 guy around. We had the vegetarian version of Tom Yum soup, dumplings, spring rolls, the Burmese flat noodles - the spring rolls were a little oily, but everything was very tasty. We also had the Mango rolls and the Garden avocado roll - though they come wrapped in a mango wrap, they aren't very sweet and they were delicious. Would recommend 💯
Food is Amazing!! I love the sunrolls as there are many vegetarian options! The pumpkin curry is amazing!!! All the food is tasty and there are so many healthy options! The fresh rolls are fantastic, and same with the samosas. We will be coming back!!!
Burger Authority
This place is awesome! The prices are unbeatable, the food is delicious, the workers are so nice, and you get a student discount. The managed special combo is my go-to and its yummy. Oh- AND it's all halal!!
Amazing food and experience. Staff were very kind. Lots of plant based options cooked well. I got the beyond burger, spouse got double turkey with double mozzarella. They did not skimp on the mozzarella haha. Sweet potato fries are real sweet potatoes and taste great. They have this hot sauce that was great too. It took 25 minutes to make, so order ahead if you're in a rush.
Tandoori Hut
We came from Ontario Canada for a day trip and decided to visit this place based on the reviews. The food was very bad and tasteless . We ordered paneer tikka masala spicy version, it was sweet and not at all spicy. The Tandoori roti was too thick to eat! Only one good thing that they give complimentary rice with sabji. Otherwise don’t fall into reviews, it’s not worth it.
Not a recommend restaurant. The food is too salty and not delicious. I have ask them to provide suger so we can add to the dishes to change the salty taste. The service is ok, asked Nana but got rise instead. Asked two water and one warn water but got three bottles water with additional charge. Not sure how they maintain their reputation?
Halal Feast Ó
I got the chicken platter. Overall it was good and fulfilling. The fries were honestly the best part, very crispy! The rice was pretty bland but the flavorful chicken and sauce made up for it. The salad was also good not just plain iceberg lettuce. Would’ve gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the rice.
One of the best halal burger/sandwiches joints anywhere. The restaurant is quite spacious and is decent for casual/fast food. Tried three items including the asylum and the toxic burgers which are both beef. Both these burgers were excellent. The patty was quite thick but juicy and tender with a nice crisp on the outside. The toxic burgers has the fried mozeralla stick which makes it quite cheese and the sauce is quite flavourful. The asylum comes with beef bacon and also tastes fantastic. We also tried the chicken steak burger which was quite big and tasted good as well. Small comment was that wish the chicken steak was a bit more spicy. Overall the quantity is quite fair and generous even for the price. Def recommend.
Golden China Express
Golden China Express is pretty much your average Chinese restaurant. It’s a small restaurant with maybe 8-10 tables. A lot of menu options but everything seems pretty standard. Nothing too crazy or special. The food itself tasted solid. The portion sizes (at least with what I ordered) are a bit on the smaller side. Overall, not bad by any means. But I wouldn’t say you have to go out of your way for it or anything.
As far as express Chinese/Asian cuisine restaurants, this place is actually better than 4-stars based on flavorful dishes and large portions, as it is better than most. However, it would be a disservice to the truly 5-star restaurants to give this place anything higher.
Chinois On Main
I cannot thank enough Bella and the whole Chinois on Main team for the amazing surprise 60th birthday they helped me organize for my husband! Bella worked me over few months to finalize menu, help me find enterntainment, set up the room for the event... they did everything. All we had to do is invite our guests and show up. Everyone loved the food - 7 dfferent appetizers, each one done to perfection; main course my favorite short rib and the fried fish with bunch of sides and of course the best Chinese chicken salad in LA. They ended everything with the most beautiful platters of various desserts! We will remember this day forever and it will not have been what it was without the care and professionalism of Bella, Krassi and the whole Chinois team - from the cook that we had, to the bartender, waiters. etc. THANK YOU!
The food was unenjoyable, especially considering this is a branded restaurant. Appetizers were reminiscent of Panda Express. One of them was identical to Beijing beef. However, we were randomly served a calamari arugula salad on the house, which was possibly the best part of the dinner. For our main course, the duck was gamey and was dressed with an equally unseasoned and bitter cranberry sauce. Our final total as charged was also significantly more than what we signed off on at the restaurant. Maybe the calamari salad wasn’t on the house after all? We aren’t sure. Cannot recommend, and very regrettably will be wary of other Wolfgang Puck restaurants if the reviews and actual experience are going to be so misaligned.
China Inn
Great food, seemed very fresh. The pork fried rice was mostly rice and not much pork. Fried dumplings were slightly overcooked but still very tasty
Ordered general tsos tofu. $11 for this soggy, mushy, not cooked mess. Didn’t even taste like it should flavor wise. Only reason I’m giving two stars is because my girlfriends chow mein fo was good. Rice is bad too.
Café 43
Delicious home cooked and affordable. Everything is fresh and made to order. From the outside this unassuming gem hides inside a historical landmark building nestled in the Catskill mountains. Livingston Manor is a beautiful little town with lots to offer in and around it. What better than to start your day with a hearty breakfast made with love. Inside dining is small with not much to offer on decor but this is a get in, have your meal and off to adventure type place. We had the eggs Benedict , French toast special , and a side of corned beef hash , all fresh , homemade and local. As always eat well and stay beautiful.
Cutest eatery in Livingston Manor. Small quaint cafe. A lot of locals what was nice about it was everyone was involved in the conversation. It seemed like a room full of old friends talking laughing and sharing stories. It was very welcoming. I felt right at home. The waitress was efficient kind warm welcoming and very professional. Our food was ready in a short time. We could tell the food was fresh and made to order not pre cooked and heated when needed. The options were endless and every plate was cooked to perfection. The portions were perfect and matches the price. I would recommend this cafe to anyone as my first choice. We will be going back.
