We recently dined at PFchang and I must say, the experience was exceptional. i would like to site an incident where my 3-year-old son accidentally broke a glass. As a parent, I was initially embarrassed and concerned about how the staff would react. However, their response was nothing short of amazing. The management and staff were incredibly kind and understanding. They quickly reassured us that accidents happen, cleaned up the mess promptly, and even made sure my son felt comfortable and safe throughout. Their professionalism and warm attitude turned what could have been an awkward moment into a reminder of how much they care about their guests. The food and ambiance were fantastic, but the way the staff handled this situation truly set them apart. It’s rare to find such compassionate and thoughtful service these days. I wholeheartedly recommend to visit this place and would give them 5 stars for their excellent service and hospitality. We will definitely be returning soon! On a recent weekday evening, we visited this restaurant for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated, despite arriving during what is typically a busy time. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a decent crowd for a casual dining experience. Our server, Tim, truly enhanced the experience. He was both personable and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations when asked. We opted for the Vegetable Spring Rolls, Chang’s Spicy Chicken, and Vegetable Fried Rice, paired with a Rising Dragon Cocktail—a margarita featuring tequila, pomegranate, lime, agave, and a touch of black lava salt. The cocktail was perfectly balanced and really well made. The food arrived promptly, and the portion sizes were generous. The Vegetable Spring Rolls were crispy and flavorful. The Chang’s Spicy Chicken—while delicious—was a bit sweeter than expected, lacking the "spicy" kick. However, Tim quickly remedied this by bringing us some chili oil and hot sauce, which added the perfect heat. The Vegetable Fried Rice was tasty but leaned slightly on the bland side; a bit more spice or seasoning could have elevated the dish. We finished the meal with a Chocolate Soufflé for dessert, which was a decadent and rich ending to the evening. Overall, the combination of delicious food, a laid-back ambience, and stellar service from Tim made this visit thoroughly enjoyable.

Honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants I have tried in Connecticut. The employees I have encountered with have all been so kind and friendly. Found this place because I was looking for chicken dumplings. This place does not disappoint they are amazing. I tried the soup dumplings and they were good. But the fried chicken dumplings were amazing. They were so good I went back twice in one day just to get another order. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to eat. The food taste so fresh, and the service is so quick. I’d make the drive to this place any day for their dumplings!

I went for dinner on a Sunday, and this place was packed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent. The spicy shrimp and the roast duck were amazing, the steam and fried dumplings were good, and I'm definitely going back to try other items on the menu. I think they have wine and some beers, I don't think they had cocktails.

Food was decent not the best I’ve had. Food portions are definitely huge and the staff is so nice and happy! They need some updating There was almost a fire that started from one of their items I believe it was a fan or something I can’t remember but there was sparks and smoke that’s dangerous since there was kids everywhere!

The food here is absolutely incredible! I travel all the way from Springfield, Massachusetts, just to eat at this restaurant—it's worth every mile. The flavors are top-notch, and the aroma of the dishes is simply amazing. The portion sizes are generous, making it an even better value. On top of that, the customer service is always warm and welcoming, making the entire experience feel like a special treat every time. Highly recommend!"

Great Chinese food. But the best thing about this gem is the service of the owner. She is such a great host and just just can help to fall in love with her. She treats everyone like family. And the food is fantastic

i travel from waterbury for this food. the hot and sour soup is hands down the best in ct. there homestyle tofu is also delicious. try it all seriously a great place. very clean too

The people who are there are very friendly and have no problem giving extra sauce. I like my order with extra sauce and they always give me what I ask for. Excellent service My favorite food every day

Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.

Take out Chinese place with a couple tables if you did want to eat in. I’ve been vegan for 10 years and this is the best vegan Chinese food I have ever had. Clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options. I got the spare rib, vegan 2 taste, and the vegan fried chicken. Excellent textures and flavor. You don’t find faux meat at many Chinese places so it’s much appreciated!

My partner and I came here for lunch. There were issues with credit card payments on the app so we called in our order and it was ready in 15 minutes. Food was quick and delicious. We ordered the 8 pieces of chicken and they were very generous with filling up the sauces on the side. Erik the cashier was also very pleasant with us when we arrived for pick up. Restaurant is located in a nice area near a college campus. Dining room was clean too. We will come here again.

Nice and clean inside the building and the food is awesome! It reminded me of taste of south chicken finger cook really good and soft food. Excellent sauce. I would mind go back and grab another order for try new different sauces. Thank you!

Mofongo Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with flavors that hint at their potential to be truly exceptional. The food is satisfying, though some dishes tend to be on the dry side—just a touch more moisture or sauce could elevate the experience and make it truly hit the spot. For a franchise, it’s hard to complain, as the overall quality is solid and consistent. I’d definitely venture back to give it another shot, hoping for that extra spark that could make it shine!

So I just paid $46 dollars for 2 little bowls the size of my hand 2 pastelillos and 2 drinks? That’s crazy they won’t see me again for sure 👍 make sure you guy’s bring enough cash, I only paid because I was starving but never again…..

Where do I possibly begin. This has been a fun and unique experience. Parking…on a Saturday afternoon, the plaza is small packed full so parking is scarce but if you can find a spot…it’s well worth it. Food…hibachi and all you can eat…do I need to say more? The way it works, if you’ve never been..they have 2 rows of salad bar which is where you fix the plate of food that you want…grab the sauces, etc. then you take it to the “table” which has numbers on it..and they cook it right there in front of you. All this, drinks included was less than $20 on a Saturday!!! Every one of the staff, cooks, and the one that does the greeting were all pleasant and welcoming. Rating on a 1-5…easily a 4.7..but I’m gonna do what I never do..this place is hands down a solid 5. On a 1-10…definitely a mid 9..maybe a 9.3-9.6 range.

Nice place for good quality food with affordable prices. You can make your combination of meat and vegetables with different flavors .They also have very good selection of dessert and ice-cream. I will be eating there again.

It's a decent spot for Korean food. Our server was nice and attentive. We had a large party, and the server was very attentive. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try their honey tea as they were swamped, and she forgot. Next time. Good was a 3.5 out of 5, as some items were lacking.

As a foodie, this place is on par with top teir ethnic foods. It's a little sticker shock on the price of foods so bring multiple people to share because the meals are HUGE. It's always bigger in Texas? No try Korea, also there is a super nice Korean grandmother working there so you know it's legit.

NOT GOOD. We have been going to this place for over 15 years and never had an issue until we ordered takeout this evening. The General Tsao’s chicken is hard, over breaded, and basically empty. It made me feel sick shortly after attempting to eat about a 1/3 of my food. Rice was bland and the crab rangoon not even stuffed just hard pieces. I don’t know what happened to this place. We used to eat lunch here 1x a week. Too expensive to get not good food.

Every time I have visited Ming Palace I have enjoyed the food and the service. Yesterday we needed some comfort food due to bad news and this place fit the bill with the family style dining and the complimentary tea that they serve. The servings are huge, delicious, and fresh. Yesterday we ordered all new dishes to try and the Roast Pork and shrimp dumpling soup stole the show for all of us. The shrimp dumplings were fantastic. For an entree I ordered the roast duck which was perfect, mom had the General Tso, and my daughter tried the Shrimp with Black Bean sauce. They are very reasonably priced and there is plenty of parking.

I had chicken with broccoli and garlic sauce. I added four jumbo shrimp for $1.00 each. Service was very good. Food was really good too. Only downside was the mopping going on while I was eating so it kind of smelt like disinfectant in there.

I never leave reviews anywhere, but this one deserves one. The food was horrible and the service I received from the person at the register. She gave me an attitude as soon as I walked in, but I let it go, then she didn’t even say hi or anything she just gave me the food and charged me. I asked he for sauce because she didn’t offer and she slammed it on the counter when I asked for an additional one she did the same thing. The rice had no flavor at all and did not have any veggies in it just onions. It felt like I was eating mushy rice with no flavor. I will never go there again. The Ming Moon in Wethersfield has excellent customer service and the food is always great. I ordered from the Newington one because I work in Newington, but never again.
