Bambou Asian Tapas & Bar
Not sure why the reviews are so harsh, but the food was delicious and service was fast (I mean the waiters don’t let you time to even seat before ordering and they take your plate as soon as you put your fork down) but it was still delicious and a lot of food. Highly recommend!! (And not a single disrespectful music was heard)
I live around the corner and my family gets take out here almost once a week. Typically I like to order a bunch of apps, but have enjoyed a lot of their entrees as well. Some of my favorites are the Wok Seared Filet, the Rock Shrimp (pro-tip I order this app instead of the Crispy Walnut Shrimp then I get a side of Sushi Rice) the Pork Fried Gyoza, and the Scallion Pancakes. If you really want to get crazy I've been known to throw a piece of steak and shrimp on a pancake and dip it in the dumpling sauce. #tellemmikesentyou
KawaSaki Japanese Restaurant
Worst dining experience ever - especially as loyal regular customers for many years. Came in to dine today for all you can eat lunch. Many new faces, so skeptical at the start. No customers, no takeout orders, Saturday lunch at 2PM. Confirmed that they still had the all you can eat luncheon and they said yes, gave us menus. Filled out our order, knowing that we had the opportunity to order more when done if we chose to as had always been in past. Our order was short 3 sushi rolls when it was brought slowly out but didn't say anything as we knew we could order later. When we tried to reorder at 2:50 PM we were told kitchen closed at 3 and no more orders would be made. This was never the case in the past, they did not say anything when we came in at 2PM, only when we tried to order the second time and try to get what was not served 1st time. They were argumentative, rude, dismissive, and I guess like the Woody Allen joke, the food was mediocre and portions too small. They have been declining in service and quality for sometime now, but as regulars, we were willing to give it another try. We will never be back and hopefully others reading this review will find better dining options. As regular customers we were astonished at the way we were treated, no second chance.
Sushi was great! And I am very picky. The rice could had been a touch sweeter, but was balanced and light. Perfect chew, and they didn’t over do the rice! See picture. Some sushi places try to give more rice than fish- not here! Definitely an underrated little spot. The interior is plain and slightly dated but is very clean. Clean bathrooms as well. Service was quick. Will be coming back when in the area.
Vientiane Thai Cuisine
Went here to get some pineapple fried rice and it did not disappoint. Walked in and it wasn't busy, it had a nice atmosphere with calm music playing. The menu is expansive with decent pricing. We got the pineapple fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. Got it a bit spicy to add a little kick and it wasn't oily or too hot where it was overbearing. Would definitely come here again, the portions were good and they had a lot of pineapple which a lot of places don't actually include.
Great service, They aim to please! Delicious & Healthy Food!
@ the Corner
The food was very good. It was a little pricey. My wife had the Caesar salad with salmon for lunch and I had a Reuben sandwich. Everything was à la cart. I had sweet potato fries, and my wife had a basket of onion rings. We both had lemonades The wait staff was very friendly, and they all helped each other with our order which came out somewhat quick. Thanks for a great lunch.
A lunch meetup with a very good friend of mine who selected this restaurant. A great choice as the service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I chose a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. For a change, the chicken was not at all dry; it was still hot and moist. My friend had a basket of fries on the side and they were pretty awesome. Yes, I stole two or three. Flavorful, crispy and hot. Very pleasant here, would return.
West Street Grill
My family and I dined here at the end of December and had a wonderful meal - not only was the quality of the food excellent, but the menu was well-rounded and easy to navigate with dietary restrictions. Owner James O'Shea and his staff were friendly and welcoming and take a great deal of pride in their establishment and ensuring a high-quality dining experience. Special thanks to James for his insights into the restaurant industry and for treating us to an incredible plant-based Chocolate Mousse!
Not sure why the good reviews for this place. Over priced and staff not friendly. Our waitress was friendly until we got our food and then never came to check on us. The person who brought our appetizer just kind of dropped it on our table with a disgusted look on his face. Tried to make small talk with the owner and he acted like he couldn’t bother. We got the Peasant Bread for the appetizer. It was overcooked on one side. Our entrees were the Black Angus Hamburger and the Freshly Made Cheese Ravioli. The hamburger was decent enough but the ravioli was a HUGE disappointment. Not sure what they mean by “freshly made” but it was like the frozen ravioli you can make at home. Seven pieces of ravioli with generic tomato sauce for $29 and you don’t even get bread with it. A coke was $6! This place is not worth your time or money. ***** I also just noticed that the owner only replies to good reviews on here. Does NOT address any review where someone doesn’t rave about them. This should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about this place *****
Uncommon Grill
Always good food. Nice outside patio during nice weather. Great service. Had caprese sandwich with chicken & dessert was peaches with waffle candied walnuts caramel sauce, both delicious. Will return again & again
We ate here for a company lunch on travel (not from the area). Very nice atmosphere and service. I had the beet salad with salmon, very good! The rest of the group had various sandwiches and salads that all looked amazing too!
China Wok
Ate here for the first time, ordered boneless chicken combo, food was delicious and portions are big prices are fair I will definitely be going back again
In the tiny town of Terryville I worried it might be terrible But the food is great It's among the best China Wok Crab rangoons are incredible!
Grandpa's Restaurant
I came here for lunch with my mom, they were a little busy but the waitress got to us as soon as she could, the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap,it was really good! The only suggestion I have for that is they could use grilled chicken strips instead of squares lol. The lemonade was real lemonade, not that fake stuff. Service and atmosphere was great! Can't wait to go back and try more food there!
I live in naugatuck and I drive by this place everyday and finally decided to go ahead and give this place a try. There's a lot of positive things to say and I only have one word for it and it's totally DELICIOUS. And yes the flower in the pic is edible and very good. I give this place a 10 out of 10. Definitely going back to try different food. Totally recommend this place you won't regret it. 👍
Hasna's Grill
From first-time customer to regular customer. I purchased a chicken wrap ($6.99) with small fries ($2.99). The food was fresh and tasty. The chicken has a tint of Cajun taste to it. I intentionally took a photo of the food next to their menu for measurement purposes. I checked out their lunch special ($9.99) menu, and both the advertised combo's with Rice & Chicken are fresh & well made. The environment is typically clean and spotless, and customer service is dependent on whether you get a female or male. The males tend to be rough around the edges, and the females are typically friendly and polite. (DISCLAIMER) Unlike other restaurants, they won't cut your wrap in half unless you request it. I've also noticed that more times than not, they won't place plastic utensils with your to-go meal.
When asked for the invoice at the end of the meal, I was asked to come and pay at the counter. It's not a big deal. I asked for the receipt after I made the payment. The receipt had a service charge and the tip I paid separately. When asked the reason for this service charge, I was told that it is charged to every dine-in customer and it is the "Table Charge" rather than the tip or the service fee. There is no mention of this charge on the menu and anywhere in the restaurant. Not against paying what is fair, but the practice of not giving the invoice ahead of payment and charging the Table Charge without any mention of it anywhere beforehand is deceiving and unethical. I have visited this place frequently with the family (did not ask for the receipt in the past but always felt I paid more than what I ordered), and the food is decent, but I don't plan on returning to this place after this incident.
Mario's Pizza Italian Restaurant
First time trying, so far so good. I got the Penne alla vodka, my partner not got Eggplant parm (lunch) I think it was a great size and the best pasta I have had in town in a while (we got extra sauce) Highly recommend, will order again. Also, delivery was fast.
Some of the best tasting food or town has to offer. That's a custom pie. 1/2 Chopped Meatballs, (not sliced), 1/2 sausage and mushrooms. Just as good, maybe better, next day.
Adam's Rib Restaurant
It's fantastic to see that even after returning, this restaurant continues to exceed expectations. The way they present the food is simply remarkable, not to mention the delicious flavor. The customer service remains impeccable, showing that they maintain their high standard. Furthermore, the peaceful and joyful atmosphere in this restaurant truly enhances the overall experience. It's a place where you can truly relax and fully enjoy your evening.
Norwalk Inn's restaurant is a hidden gem! I couldn't get enough of their delectable cuisine. The fusion of flavors in every plate was a testament to the chef's talent and dedication
Jordan's Restaurant & Pizza
$18 for a small tossed salad with grilled chicken? Ludicrous! Definitely not worth the price.. not a large but a small!! They need to put the prices online...
Totally disgusting. They have "homemade fried mozzarella" on the Menu. But it's definitely not homemade, and definitely not mozzarella, unless they brought back the government cheese. Fried calamari, was soggy and not cooked well. Pizzas, were terrible as well. Poor quality ingredients. Mushrooms from a can, pizza sauce that tastes like chef boyardee. Then they had the audacity to include a 20% tip for a party of four. Which I would have tipped more because the waitress can't help the employer is cheap and cuts corners but not costs
