ChoLon - Sloan’s Lake
Great happy hour! From 4:30 to 6:00pm all their dumplings are only $6. The General Cho’s soup dumplings were so delicious we ordered them twice. We also really liked their bao buns and shrimp Shumai. We will be back!
The Sloans Lake location has recently opened, with positive reviews! Amazing menu with a savory variety of choices. Sauces are Spectacular with every dish. Service was superb with several individuals taking care of our table! I would recommend the Drunken Master as a cocktail creation derived with bourbon. My only suggestion is to wear a sport jacket or wrap as the AC was blowing straight on me.
Lao Wang Noodle House
Never judge a book by its cover. This noodle house is the best. We got the pot stickers, wonton soup, steamed dumplings and braised beef noodles. One word...AMAZING!! Stop on by..have grandma take your order and delight in the flavors.
A little hole-in-the-wall run by a sweet and funny old lady ~ all the food was delicious and the xiao long bao was one of the better ones I've had in the area!
Super Star Asian Cuisine
Super Star has been around for a couple of decades. I had not eaten here for a long while as there are several other dim sum restaurants in Denver area. I went for a late lunch after hiking a 14er's. I was never offered the dim sum menu and one of the servers pushed the cart over and showed me a few items. The dim sum was okay definitely not the best in Denver. I also noticed there were no small items, everything was medium or up which means the price is 10% more expensive than some of the other restaurants. May be I was thirsty, but I thought the tea itself was good.
This is a Chinese restaurant next to the GW market grocery store. It looked like a very old restaurant with similar decor. We were offered a variety of dimsums on a cart. The staffs did not even bothered to give us the menu, immediately started offering some food from the cart. We requested the menu, and requested sizzler, fried rice and a noodle. The food was decent but quantity and quality were definitely not upto the mark not deserved the price they charged. The entire restaurant was smelly and not too clean. The staffs do not speak English, we found it difficult to communicate. I will hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Hope they improve their standards to deserve the price they charge.
聚福楼
See
On Monday, the whole family went to Jufulou for dinner and tea. After returning home, my wife and three children kept going to the toilet to have diarrhea. They still looked bad yesterday and this morning. It was a very bad holiday. Bad, bad, bad.
