Cheong Gardens
Decided to give them a try since they had good reviews. It's your typical inner city Chinese style restaurant, very basic and not to expensive. The Pork Egg Foo Young was a 4, but the General Tso, Egg Rolls and Fried Wings were 3ish. The Pork Fried rice that came with the meals was favorable, but a little dry. Wings were small and Fried to hard. Gen Tso lacked spice and I like mine with broccoli and chilies. Egg rolls were also hard and dry. Not a repeat for me with so many options. Looking to patronize more small businesses a few times a month. Friendly service, cash only, no restrooms, few tables for dining in.
THIS WAS HORRIBLE, there were crackheads and drug dealers outside, as a middle aged white woman with 7 kids, I felt endangered it was VERY different from my suburban neighborhood, the food was frightful, it tasted like good but it made my stomach hurt, I had diarrhea for the last 5 days! The people working there put peanuts in my daughter's when I SPECIFICALLY told them she was allergic and to recommend her something w/o peanuts!!! She had an allergic reaction and she had to go to the ER! 2 STARS, I DON'T Recommend!
Ho Mei
amazing food for such an great price!! atmosphere is a bit meh, but the food is definitely 5 star for the price. would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a quick meal
Just ran across this place. They're $8 special is pretty unbeatable. A huge pile of food with two entrees with either fried rice or lo mein as its base, a egg roll or cheese wontons and a drink š«¶š»ššš»š„¢ there were some sweet older women that served me.
Taste of Asia
The quality of the ingredients paired with the authentic taste of the sauce and perfect sides. This is the best beef Iāve ever had from a Chinese place. Finally!šššÆš. AND IT WAS DELIVERED.
High quality ingredients and nice portions. Food is cooked to order and quite delicious.
Panda Express
I have eaten here twiceāonce by delivery and once in store. The food was pretty good and the portion size was as well. Could use a bit more on the beef and shrimp sides. The staff was friendly. The biggest negatives are that the dining room really needed a good scrub down and should be kept clean. Also, I saw a mop for the FLOOR being used on the back wall above the food prep area. That isā¦š¤¢!!! People walk in all kinds of places including in bathrooms. That mop is being used on the same floor where their shoes are then right above your food. Thatās appalling. I sure hope they didnāt use that mop in the bathroom, too. Donāt know that Iāll be going back here after seeing that. Iām almost never have stomach aches but my stomach ached the day after my first order here. I do wonderā¦.
Food was great and actually hot! Buuuttt... the servings were very skimpy. Half of my entree slots in to-go container were filled with rice. Rice is a side not an entree! Decently clean place and kind staff
Ho Mei Chinese Restaurant
Food is prety good and they serve alot a food amd they add a drink for the same price ebry i am here in denver this is the spot
Guys this food was good and super affordable. Everything looks amazing I will say how ever anything fried will have more batter than meat ratio however the sauce is amazing . Is the service the best ? No, how ever these ladies are here to get it moving and keep it flowing. There will be a language barrier but they understand what you want. I took my food to go, but looking at the restaurant I probably wouldnāt have stayed anyway. I would definitely be back for pick up for sure YUM!!!!
Spicy Thai II and Sushi
Always thought South Park Hill to be a desert for Asian food, but was pleasantly surprised by the local favorite Spicy Thai and Sushi. Despite the inconspicuous appearance, the Thai food and sushi here were as tasty as many other more notable Thai restaurants and sushi places in town. Besides these, their Chinese entrees were also quite good. Certainly a hidden gem for the neighborhood and worth a try when you are around next time. It is right by Dang Soft Serve Ice Cream.
Moved to Aurora from Orlando, FL. I'm slowly trying to find some good eats places to later frequent. This place will be on my list. Had the Peanut Curry noodles, Eel nagiri, and fried shumai. All were great! They also have my favorite plum wine. They have several East Asian options. Cute spot, decent portion and prices.
Red Star Chinese Restaurant
I got so sick fr their chicken & broccoli. I will never go there again. Plz, be careful w/their food. I thought my stomach was gonna blow up & felt like throwing up. I didn't eat anythn else but hear tht day. I thnk GOD I know about baking sode. Never again
This area is tragic but the food was somehow worse š„“ ordered the general tso chicken combo An egg roll and water. Man the chicken was horrible. Chewy as hell and unpalatable. The rice was ok but had a freezer type smell to it. I was in the area for work and didnāt wanna go too far for a meal but I soon regretted it. Iām a believer in the worst neighborhoods have the best food but I was wrong šthis one matched itās surroundings very well.
Panda Express
Man, should've looked at reviews and should've taken my gut instinct when it was filled and I mean filled with local HS kids. I decided, well noone was in the drive-thru, let me skip all those kids, well I got what I deserved I guess. Paid extra for the Black pepper steak x2 and tried the Blazing Bourbon Chicken with chow mein .......... received maybe 1 serving of the steak in the 2 plate box and the half an order of the bigger plate smaller take out box with the chicken ..... I should've taken a pic of that, but I didn't. The beef was dry and not good and probably was old since most High Schoolers I wouldn't think would pick it. As for the noodles, I saw on the receipt it said rice and sure enough, I got rice and when I brought it up to the person at the window they got irritated and gave me this , see pic, they wanted me to have rice. It stinks to write this because I do try and support Panda Express because of the owners values and how they take care of their employees but this is not a location I will be visiting again.
I knew I shouldāve thought twice about coming to this Panda Express the energy from the worker was really negative and did not seem like they knew what they were doing or cared about what they were doing. I donāt know if they heard me correctly or not. I got a bigger plate, and I only ended up receiving one entrĆ©e, and I also asked for rice and chow mein half-and-half and got chow mein. And lastly specifically asked for spring rolls and only got two orders of wontons. I would say just make sure your order is correct before leaving this drive thru.
China King
Ordered deliver everything we got was good and at a good price even came with a hanging calendar this is for the foodie that hesitate just do it lol
Called to order delivery. Was told the total was $21.50. I had looked at the online menu and that didn't sound right, so I looked again - total should have been $15.85, $16.85 with tax. I called back and said total they gave me was wrong, thinking it was just a math error. Instead I was told that the online menu prices were very old, and not accurate. I told them they need to take down or update the online menu, then, and cancelled my order. Will be reporting this establishment to state consumer affairs. Major rip-off.
