New Hong Kong Chef II

Ordered for delivery at work, the first time I was not happy with the boneless spare ribs, they were tough and the rice was too mushy and wet. The second time I ordered the chicken and broccoli and it was yummy.

Not appetizing though it appears fresh and delicious. I don’t know why they use this red ketchup like sauce for a garlic sauce. I only tried this place cause it’s close to where I am. Garlic sauce supposed to be brown not ketchup color. I specifically asked for not saucy but it’s still Sauced up. I like the cabbage roll crispy and not too thick wrap. It’s well cooked unlike other Chinese place that sell under cooked egg rolls with thick wrappers. I probably would have like the food if not for the weird sauce they put. It’s not Chinese like cooking. Lol the eggplant I ordered is not fully cooked like it’s rushed. I originally asked for a beef but they say they don’t serve eggplants with beef only chicken. If other places make it with beef what difference does it make! Oh well. U can make string beans, broccoli, mixed vegetable with beef but not with eggplant! What kind of logic is that lol.

The best Bubble tea in America. This place makes me want to go back to China. Amazing! The food is also amazing. Tastes like Actual Chinese food.

Everything we got was delicious! Chicken dumplings, egg drop soup, general Tso chicken, and peach bubble tea. Best of luck to your new place will be our new go to!

We had dinner here last night and it was phenomenal. A last-minute craving for American Chinese food turned out to be stuffing my face with all the classics: wings, ribs, shrimp and honey walnut, General Tso’s chicken, etc etc. We even adventured and got fancy dishes like Five Spiced Long Island duck and butterflied prawn. All so amazing. Perfect place for date night or simply a nostalgia evening for good American Chinese food.

A classic dine in Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. A large dish of their fresh fried noodles with duck sauce and hot mustard is always a treat. The option to make an entree a whole meal is nice including appetizer, soup, and dessert. Two of us had half Peking duck which is wrapped in a flour pancake with cucumber, green onion and hoisin sauce with extra crispy drumsticks. Another companion enjoyed boneless ribs and the fourth has shrimp with honey roasted walnuts. A thoroughly enjoyable meal with great service.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Just recently I ate my chicken fried rice and found a bug to be at the bottom of my bowl. I nearly vomited all of the food I ate after discovering there was fried fly in my food. I specifically asked for chicken fried rice, not “Flied” rice. You’re better off eating elsewhere because they don’t have no consideration for sanitary measures.

Local and fast delivery. Wish they had homemade ice tea. Not on the menu.just soda.

Outstanding Chinese food and friendly service in this special gem of a spot. Came here with my family and We ordered beef and bean sprouts, a dish we had for years at another restaurant in Queens that closed down after Covid hit... This dish wasn't on the menu, but the chef delivered and it was amazing. Nice spot for birthday, event or an evening out and I'm sure take-out is great too. The owner is the nicest guy and made sure we were taken care of, catering to our every need. Love the decor of the place... My kids loved the fish tank in the back and It was casual enough for them to play inside the restaurant a bit and not have to sit down the entire time, which was a huge relief. We love a kid-friendly restaurant!!! They even sat at a separate table in the back and colored with the owner's daughter and made a new bestie. If this restaurant was in a different location it would probably be packed day and night, but luckily it is usually quiet when we go there. Really love this place and my kids called it their new favorite spot. The fried rice, dumplings, shrimp and Chinese vegetables and JASMINE TEA!! are all phenomenal... Very reasonable prices as well. Must try this place.

Feels great supporting local businesses like this! The manager Mr. Chan is fantastic. He always provides VIP service to myself, our friends, family and my coworkers. This is some of the best authentic chinese food in NY. Definitely a hidden gem. The food flavors are stimulating and the drinks are not shy, Mr. Chan is a great bartender. The restaurant is clean and neat, has a great atmosphere, very friendly and inviting. The menu is diverse giving you multiple options to choose from when it comes to any restrictions you may have. Please visit this hidden gem and ask to see Jacky Chan, he is one of my favorite restaurant owners! Thank you for always providing excellent hospitality and amazing food!

Delicious food! I ordered chicken wings and house special lo mein. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Little bit overpriced compared to what I usually pay however it was worth it, I will be returning. Love it!

Very fast service and delicious food. A bit spicier than typical Kosher Chinese food, but I really like red pepper and they use a goodly amount. Definitely a primarily takeout place, but they do have a few tables and we had a very nice little lunch. Prices are quite reasonable for what you get. Decent sized portions. Definitely recommend the Szechuan wontons.

Dino's Pizzeria

There are times when you go out for a meal, and you just don’t see anything on the menu that seems compelling. You won’t have that problem with Dino’s Pizzeria. The menu is insanely huge with a variety of food sure to please everyone. In fact, if you wanted to print the online menu, it would chew up 42 pieces of paper. Dino’s has an extremely large variety of pizzas, as well as appetizers, homemade soups, salads, side orders, calzones, hot and cold wedges, homemade buns, wraps and heroes, gyros, pasta, baked pasta, veal, chicken, eggplant, sausages shrimp and salmon. Our group of six ordered online and received the food in a very timely manner. No one had any complaints about the food – only accolades. In particular, the meatball parmigiana wedge had an ample amount of sliced meatballs with cheese and sauce on a tasty roll. The meatballs were well seasoned and had a great mouth texture. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap and calzone were also excellent. The pizza was perfectly cooked and had high-quality cheese. The pizza dough was chewy so if you like your pizza crisp you may want to choose another item. The standout menu item to me was the Bella Salad Wrap which had a symphony of ingredients which resulted in an extraordinary taste experience. Along with the grilled chicken, the Bella Wrap ingredients included baby spinach, red onions, eggplant, Kalamata olives, fresh mozzarella, shaved Parmesan and roasted red pepper, tossed in a balsamic glaze. After your first order from Dino’s, you will probably want to repeat the experience.

Great pizza spot. Delicious taste. Their Coli flower pizza was good. Variety of sodas. Nice wings.

Denville Seafood & Codmothers Cafe

Nice seafood restaurant with a lot of fish options unlike the many restaurants in U.S. which calls themselves seafood restaurant mostly have crabs and oysters. We tried broiled Arctic char and broiled swordfish. Both were very good and prices are reasonable compared to portion sizes.. Don't hesitate to try if you are looking for seafood dinner or lunch..

Everything about this place is just excellent. They’re fresh. The service is excellent and their menu options are endless. This is one of my seafood go to restaurant when I want a lobster roll!

Du Jour Cafe

This place is my favorite go to for great coffee and crepes! I recommend the Du Jour Crepe and the Strawberry & Banana Nutella crepe, they’re my favorites. The italiano sandwich is very delicious! The best is their drinks, I can’t have too much caffeine but their chai latte is one of the best in town. Starbucks makes them too sweet even when I ask less syrup. And other places around town just don’t make them as good, the flavor is always off. The pastries are very good as well! Milly and Christian the owners are so warm and welcoming. There were a few times where we gave constructive criticism and they were very receptive and proactive about it. Most places if I have a bad experience or the food is terrible and I tell the owners about it, they can be immature about it. But not Milly and Christian, they’re very nice about making sure your experience is amazing. The place is small and sometimes there’s not enough room to sit down to eat and chat. But it makes me want to come back even more 😂 definitely give this place a try if you’re in town!

Quiet lovely little coffee shop located in Denville. A great alternative to Starbucks. This is the perfect place to get some caffeine and sit and have a conversation. The fresh baked scone was perfect. Fluffy and moist and flavorful. The croissants were flaky and buttery. New favorite place.

This is a place I keep getting invited to for group gatherings, and for good reason! This is a fairly small all you can eat Japanese restaurant but they have a ton of options. You order pretty much everything on a provided iPad and in a decently short time it is brought out. I personally recommend trying out their unique sushi rolls! My only complaint is the cramped parking lot but I usually find a space. A good place to eat!

It's amazing for all you can eat sushi. Don't expect the best fish ever but great texture and taste, it's just not the melt in your mouth you'd want from the best of the best. That being said for the price it's very good.
