JING Denver
First time here, the atmosphere was good, nice decor, reminds me of a club setting but this was way better. The food was very good, we were a party of 8 so we opted to get lots of smaller dishes to share. The sea bass was awesome, the salt and pepper ribs were excellent. Awesome sake selection. Overall a great experience for me. If you go…take both wallets, but it’s worth it.
The champagne vinaigrette on the salad was delicious. The crab Rangoon’s also very tasty with an amazing sauce to go with it. The sesame chicken was the best I have had. Flavorful, juicy not over cooked. The service was great from everybody, but my waitress. The host set us right away. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful on both sides of the dining room and the bar area. The real reason I went, was to give the experience of the bus button, which is in there, drunken Buddha drink. If you’ve never had one, it’s a definite, let’s try. It was actually the very first time I was ever introduced to this buzz button was at this location years ago. They even make their own lemonade. Parking in the area is not a problem. They have a great parking garage right across the street. Luckily for me I was able to park street in front of the street.
Paik's Noodle Aurora 홍콩반점
I have been driving by this place on my way to here and there and every time I drive by I think to myself, I should try that place! Well tonight was the night and I am so glad I did. The kids are at choir and the Hubby is working late, so I am all alone with this plate. I had their most popular Noodle Dish. Jaengban-jjajang. What a perfect night for slurpy saucy noodles: A little over cast and dreary. In here the flavors are bursting. The portion size is generous enough to be shared by 2, but I am kind of down right now. Something I was excited about didn’t pan out. The world has gone insane. So tonight I am face first in a pile of the most delicious noodles I have had in a really long time. You only live once! In the words of a long lost friend, David Vincent Francis Dominique Desantis (Italian Catholic from NY): Eat the world before it eats you! Working on that, Dave! 🫣🤭😆 The noodles are made in house and hand cut and that I absolutely love! Nothing compares to fresh noodles! They’re drenched in a delicious black bean sauce that is just spicy enough to leave warming tingles on your lips, almost like being kissed, but shouldn’t kick back later. Recommend bringing a date and enjoying this place together! No bite goes with out a bit of seafood or pork and there are even some veggies, so you can skate by calling it a complete meal! Just Bless all the people who feed us their love and culture through the wonderful foods they prepare! Served with Picked Daikon, Extra Black Bean Paste and some fresh onions on the side. You can’t go wrong with this one! I see some more visits in the near future!!! Also, this place has an attribute that Hubby and I look for in any Asian cuisine establisment… A mostly Asian clientele. That is kind of our Litmus Test for whether the place has some authenticity. We always like to look for the local and authentic, so we can support small business owners (we’re snobby like that)!! I didn’t expect to eat the whole thing, but here we are. Come on out Greater Denver area and show this Noodle House some love!!!💕
We did take out for a birthday dinner at home and the highlight dishes were definitely the creamy shrimp and tangsu. The jjajang was a little sweet for my preference but it still hit the spot. The jjambbong as takeout was kind of mid because the noodles got soggy but I bet they would be better if we dined in. Also they really doled out the pickled radish and did not skimp out! I think the pricing was very reasonable and worth the value of the food. We’ll definitely be back!
China Cottage
I read all the other reviews and not to be biased I just don't understand what the other reviews/ people know what Chinese food is. Being from California and living in Colorado this is the best Chinese food that I have ever had. I had it delivered and the person that delivered my food was super nice and not aggressive. The food I got was hot season and was on point. I recommend this spot to any and everybody that's in the vicinity. If I'm wrong.. which I hope I'm not.. correct me
The food way ok. Not very flavorful. Not spicy like the menu indicated the crab cheese wontons were old. The chicken on a stick was slightly flavored. My Thai meal was ok. The basil on my chicken was slimy and didn't have a basil flavor at all. The sweet and sour sauce was bitter. The rice was not cooked today that's for sure. Glad I tried it though It made me appreciate the Chinese restaurant we usually go to even more!
RICE Bistro & Sushi
We had a 7:30 reservation on Valentine's Day and placed our order at 7:45. By 9:15, we had still not received our food, despite seeing multiple tables being served and leaving. After nearly two hours, we asked to speak to a manager. I have added a photo to show how empty the restaurant was when we were still waiting for our food. When the manager (Coco) arrived at our table, we expressed our concerns about the delay and being the last table served in the restaurant. Her response was that this level of service should be expected on Valentine’s Day and at least we were able to wait at a table instead of standing waiting for takeout. She offered us a 10% discount but the discount didn't cover the food that at this point was still not served at the table. When we reiterated that we had waited patiently and watched numerous tables come and go, she told us, we "don’t understand hospitality." She then turned to my daughter and made an inappropriate comment who was silent through the exchange. When our waitress eventually brought the check, she was in tears. It was clear she was distressed by the situation as well. It turns out that the check ended up charging us for the food that was not served but we wanted to avoid a further uncomfortable situation and paid for the bill. Given that we have been longtime customers, this experience was beyond disappointing. Looking at other reviews, it seems there have been similar concerns and experiences about management and how it has gone down hill.
Good food and friendly staff. And most things are gluten free!
Tao's Oriental Cuisine
Looked for an Oriental restaurant and found this gem! Walked in and we were the only ones in the restaurant until another couple came. Husband ordered shrimp and broccoli and I ordered the happy family dinner combos, which included soup, egg roll, a fried cheese wonton and choice of steam or fried rice. The menu is extensive with everything one would ever want to eat. The jasmine tea needed time to brew but was still good. I should have never looked down because the restaurant needs a thorough cleaning! If we were to be back, in the area, I would stop back .. maybe for take out.
Guys, You've got to do a better job with frying your chicken! The two dishes that I got for the kids to eat, the chicken was so poorly cooked we may as well have served them cardboard. Everything else was average but when I come home to feed 4 kids and then have to make frozen pizza because you failed at what should be super simple and delicious, then I'm not happy. I have it a four star because it was hot and ready when. I showed up and the girl was nice, but that doesn't fix the chicken.
JP Nori Sushi & Asian Cuisine
I had a rainbow nurotu roll and seaweed salad. Delicious. I would come back here again. Had to take it togo. But it was worth the trip. The fish was fresh and delicious.
I cannot overstate how high the quality of this restaurant is. I come in every Saturday for their lunch special, which is an excellent value, and the staff I always speak with at the sushi bar (Mae Ling and Justin) are kind, hardworking, and very talented. This restaurant is THE hidden gem of Denver, and in my opinion they serve the best sushi in the city. It’s the first place I had real, actual wasabi while living in Colorado, so if nothing else sells you then it is worth coming in just for that experience. To top it all off, It has an extremely comfortable atmosphere with tasteful decor. I will continue to be a regular here as long as I am around!
Ocean Pearl Delta LLC
This place is a gem! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean and nice. I ordered take out, the vegetable mu shu and vegetable lo mein, and both were very delicious! I will definitely be back.
I got the Mongolian beef requested extra spicy it was good but not spicy. ☹️ Not bad checking it out!
Yuan Wonton
This is some of the best food in Denver (if not the best). Their dumplings are perfection…their noodles are craveable. I just had their Tom kha dumplings and it was the best bite of food I’ve had all year. Thank you Yuan Wonton!
Great recommendation by tender from Lincoln bar, Thanks! The og chili wontons were so delicate, plump and perfectly spicy. I imagine everything else on the menu is just as amazing, looked so. If was in town for another day would have come right back with larger eyes and empty tummy
Little Dragon
This local take-out/delivery restaurant is a true gem, offering a range of tasty Chinese dishes that can be easy customized for vegetarians, e.g., kung-pow tofu, orange tofu, etc.
Finally, a hot meal well worth the money. Portions are generous and Ive never left feeling hungry. Presentation and freshness is consistent and Ive really no suggestions to improve. My favourite is Sesame Chicken (light sauce) and Chicken Dumplings (fried).
Phở Hong
My new favorite pho is the cubed flank pho. The dim sum here is decent even tho there’s not a huge variety. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. This place is easy to get pho and your dim sum fix. Usually no wait and the bathrooms are clean.
Got dim sum from here. It gets expensive doing it that way but things were pretty good. Service was great and we didn’t feel rushed and could easily flag down to order more.
House of Chin
Beautiful place, wonderfully nice people! I have to put this place onto of my list of places to return. Their menu on Google is outdated as far as pricing, so I'll add a updated one 😉 if you haven't eaten here you really need to try it , we ordered Vegetable lo mean, egg rolls and steamed dumplings 😋
i’ve been to this place for years now, and i can say this place never disappoints 🙌. Food is pretty good, the people and staff here are nice, everything about this place is enjoyable. They’ve expanded their menu since they’ve moved to their new location, but the taste still remains the same. Always very good each time ❤️
Ming's Cafe
Our experience was transcendent. Long gone are the days of bad strip mall Chinese food. This food was EXCELLENT. Modern dining experience with FANTASTIC service from our waiter CAEDEN. Viral sensations like bubble waffles and Vietnamese coffee stole the show. The PORK BUNS were to die for. Prices were very fair. This is what a dining experience should be.
Sashimi yellowtail ponzu prepared perfectly, a deliciously flavored Hot & Sour soup with impeccable consistency with just the right amount of tang, amazingly elevated Pad Thai and I cannot recommend the House Lo Mein enough, seriously, get it. The combo is filled with succulent shrimp cooked impeccably, tinder chicken, yummy veggies. They must be cooking them individually it seems because the cook time for each is different, yet each is cooked perfectly. In short: it's delicious! The noodles are even soaked with flavor! Every slirp was a flavor explosion. They have really fun drinks as well to check out and their house hot saki is a smooth and pairs perfect with a Kirin lite. I'm not in this area often, but it is definitely worth the drive, even as a focal point of your trip. If you go with friends, all their apps are great, and while those alone would be a enough food, the actual dishes are very large and also easily sharable. Ask for a few small plates to share. Lastly, the team there is really professional and genuinely kind. Our waiter, appologies for not getting his name, was polite, attentive and very educated with their dishes which is a HUGE sign that the owners care about quality and ambiance. As a world traveler, I have to say, this place is definitely worth the jaunt.
