Wing Cheong Intro
Wing Cheong, located at 1389 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11216, is a Chinese restaurant serving American Chinese cuisine. They can be reached at (718) 622-4720 or +1 718-622-4720. Based on customer reviews, Wing Cheong is known for providing large portions at very affordable prices.
Key observations from customer reviews include:
- Portion Size: Customers consistently mention the generous portion sizes, offering a significant amount of food for the price.
- Szechuan Style: There is a notable difference between American Szechuan dishes and authentic Szechuan cuisine. Customers have mentioned that the American version tends to be less spicy.
- Lunch Deal: The restaurant offers a lunch deal that is considered very good value.
- Chicken Wings: While the overall food quality is appreciated, some customers have noted that the chicken wings could be cooked longer for better texture.
Wing Cheong offers a straightforward American Chinese food experience with a focus on quantity and affordability. It's a good choice for those looking for a filling meal without breaking the bank. However, customers expecting authentic Szechuan flavors might find the dishes less spicy than anticipated. Also, chicken wing cooking times are mentioned as inconsistent.
If you're in Brooklyn, NY, and looking for a place that offers large portions of American Chinese food at a great price, Wing Cheong is worth considering. Be aware that the Szechuan dishes may not be as spicy as traditional Szechuan food, and the chicken wings could be cooked longer.

my first time trying american chinese food as a person who grew up in asia and it was an experience. this is a stupid amount of food for the $ you pay and it fills you up. today i learned that szechuan style has a different meaning in america than in szechuan. that is very much apparent. i wish it was spicier!! but otherwise can’t complain. lunch deal goes too crazy
Great Chinese Food, But My Wings Could’ve Been Cooked Longer. Wings Should Pull Apart Easily When Cooked Correctly.
Some of the best General Tso’s I’ve had. The lady is very friendly and nice
Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in all of NYC. They don’t deliver cause they don’t have to. The food is so good people will find their way over. All the locals get food from there so you know it’s good. It’s funny because the menu and food all look the same as other Chinese takeout places, but it’s not. It’s waaaaay better. I love their salt pepper shrimp. Even their Lo mein is a knockout. I want to try a lot more items, but I’m kinda lazy to walk there and back. I’d honestly pay someone $10-20 if they’d just go and pick up for me. Not really eat in place. They have one table. Inside it feels like standard take out places.
Lots of food, very tasty, inexpensive. Cash only.
