About VFC Kitchen

Welcome to VFC Kitchen, a fresh and exciting addition to the Chinese culinary scene in the heart of Midtown West, New York City. Located at 860 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019, VFC Kitchen aims to provide local residents and workers with a satisfying and convenient experience for enjoying classic Chinese cuisine. As a new establishment, VFC Kitchen has quickly garnered attention for its commitment to quality, efficient service, and modern conveniences.

Stepping into the shoes of a former neighborhood Chinese spot, VFC Kitchen has already distinguished itself by addressing a key aspect often overlooked in traditional takeout establishments: payment options. Unlike its predecessor, VFC Kitchen readily accepts credit cards, a significant convenience for many customers in today's digital age. This simple yet crucial feature enhances the overall customer experience, making it easier and more seamless to enjoy their offerings.

One of the standout aspects highlighted by early customer reviews is the promptness of their delivery service. In a bustling city like New York, time is of the essence, and VFC Kitchen seems to understand this well. Customers have reported quick delivery times, ensuring that their food arrives hot and ready to be enjoyed. This efficiency is a major plus for those looking for a convenient meal option after a long day or during a busy workday.

Turning to the food itself, VFC Kitchen appears to be hitting the right notes with several of their dishes. The chicken wings, in particular, have received positive feedback, described as large and fried to perfection. This classic appetizer is a staple of many Chinese takeout menus, and VFC Kitchen seems to have mastered it. The crispy exterior and succulent interior of their chicken wings are likely to be a crowd-pleaser.

Another dish that has garnered positive attention is the General Tso's chicken and fried rice combo. This popular combination is a benchmark for many Chinese restaurants, and VFC Kitchen's rendition has been described as better than expected. Customers have praised the tastiness of the fried rice and the generous portion of chicken provided. This suggests that VFC Kitchen pays attention to both the quality and quantity of their ingredients, ensuring a satisfying meal.

While the majority of initial feedback has been positive, it's worth noting one customer's experience with the plantains. This reviewer found them to be somewhat dry and lacking in seasoning, suggesting an area where VFC Kitchen could potentially refine their recipe. This honest feedback is valuable and can help the restaurant fine-tune its menu offerings as it continues to grow and evolve.

Overall, the initial impressions of VFC Kitchen are promising. Customers appreciate the modern conveniences such as credit card acceptance, which sets it apart from some traditional takeout spots. The quick delivery service is a significant advantage in a fast-paced urban environment. Furthermore, the positive reviews regarding the quality and portion sizes of dishes like the chicken wings and General Tso's chicken combo indicate a commitment to providing satisfying meals.

VFC Kitchen also appears to be mindful of affordability, with one customer mentioning being able to get something for under $10. In a city known for its high cost of living, offering budget-friendly options is a smart way to attract and retain local customers. This accessibility, combined with the quality of their food and service, positions VFC Kitchen as a potentially popular choice for takeout in the area.

This is a new Chinese restaurant (that replaced a former longtime neighborhood Chinese spot) and I have to say it did not disappoint. First off, they accept credit cards which the former did not. Delivery time was quick and food was hot. (The chicken wings are large and fried perfectly. I will say I tried the plantains as well and they just didn't do it, sort of dry and seemed like they needed salt or something. We also tried the general tso chicken and fried rice combo - this was better than expected. Rice was tasty and generous amount of chicken. Will be trying again soon.

I tried this place last night. I noticed they are different from the restaurant before. I like that they accept cards which is almost rare for Chinese food take out. They opened recently. I hope they keep the service and quality. Portion is decent. I was able to get something for under $10. I liked the food so far. Will be my go to take out in this area.
