Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at this location appear to be mixed. One reviewer expressed confusion over seemingly low overall ratings, noting a reasonable 20-22 minute wait time for their order. They praised several dishes, including the Dan Dan Mien noodles (recommending them with hot oil), bubble milk tea, mango smoothie, and chicken and spicy beef dumplings, highlighting the flavor of the accompanying oil. This reviewer also noted a pleasant atmosphere, describing the seating area as great for families and couples, with a peaceful environment shared by mostly families and tourists. They indicated a positive experience and a willingness to dine there again, also mentioning the convenience of other food options nearby.
In contrast, another reviewer expressed significant disappointment, stating that the food tasted nothing like the original Vanessa's Dumpling House location on Grand Street. They found the dumplings to be smaller and were critical of the kimchi, describing it as more akin to coleslaw. This reviewer did find the noodles and pancakes to be good but regretted ordering dumplings at a place with "Dumpling House" in its name, suggesting the dumplings were not up to par.
The reviews provide differing perspectives on the food quality, particularly regarding the dumplings and kimchi, while one review highlighted a family-friendly atmosphere and reasonable wait times. No information regarding specific services like dine-in or takeout was explicitly mentioned, though being located within American Dream suggests a casual dining setting. Similarly, no promotional information was available in these reviews.
Potential customers may want to consider these varying opinions when deciding to dine at Vanessa's Dumpling House at American Dream.

Not sure why the reviews are so low We waited roughly 20 - 22 minutes (which is more than reasonable) Food: 5 Dan Dan mien noodles š (my order) 3 bubble milk tea š§ 4 mango š„ smoothie 5 chicken and spicy beef dumplings š„ and the oil provided tasted great (according to my sis) Atmosphere: 4 seating area great for families and couples There were mostly families and tourists eating peacefully, and great food options within walking distance on the same level I would definitely eat there again Recommendation: Dan Dan Mien noodles w/ hot oil
Well Iām pretty confused about the other reviews. This place tastes nothing like the original location in grand Street. The dumplings are even smaller. They sell kimchi?? It tastes more like Cole slaw. The noodles and the pancakes are good. I guess I made the mistake of ordering dumplings at a dumpling house
During my visit to the American Dream, I tried Vanessa's Dumplings' Sesame Pancake Sandwich with cilantro, carrots, and cucumber. It was a delightful experience. The pancake was crunchy and cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were fresh. Overall it was satisfying. The generous portion left me thoroughly content. I am eager to return to Vanessa's Dumplings to sample their dumplings as well, and I will happily recommend this spot to fellow mall-goers looking for a delicious snack. Total spent $7.34
This is one of the better Asian food restaurant in AD, compared to the ones in food court. They have a decent menu with some noodles, soups and dumplings. The beef soup was the best item to me, tasty soup, soft beef and good noddles. The Dan Dan noodles is the second best item. It lacks some seasoning/sauce. Sweet and spicy cucumber is a really good side. On the other hand, the sesame pancake and duck sandwich were not so enticing. I didn't find any good taste in them, neither was there any sauce there to add some extra flavor to them. The food preparation also takes really long time, about 15-20 minutes of wait time. Overall we had a good meal, but not exciting enough for me to go back and try more stuff.
We ordered Dan Dan mein vegan noodles tasted good. The only thing I did not like that it was a bit oily. Second thing we ordered was vegetable pancakes sandwich. It was filling but lacked little flavor. Hope to try dumplings sometime.
