Based on online customer reviews, Raosu offers an attractive deal with an all-you-can-eat option for $39.99, which includes hot pot, sushi rolls, and inclusive sides. Customers have praised the delicious food, particularly highlighting the variety of hot pot options and sushi rolls. The interior decor is described as gorgeous, making it a visually appealing space. The service has generally been noted as super friendly and attentive, especially during less busy hours.
One reviewer specifically recommended the mushroom soup base for the hot pot and advised diners to arrive hungry due to the generous amount of food. Raosu also offers a more elevated all-you-can-eat option for $79, which includes a larger menu of hot pot and sushi items, as well as beer, and they have happy hour specials.
However, a more recent update from a returning customer indicates a decline in the quality of food and service. This review mentioned slow service, inattentive staff, and issues with the freshness and portion size of the salmon sashimi, advising against ordering their sushi due to the thin slices of fish and excessive rice. This customer expressed disappointment with the apparent decline in the business.
For local users considering Raosu as a "Chinese Restaurant" offering a unique blend of hot pot and sushi, it's important to note the mixed recent reviews regarding food quality and service. The initial positive feedback on the value and atmosphere might be contrasted with more recent concerns. It may be prudent to consider these varying experiences when making a dining decision.

What an amazing deal - $39.99 for all you can eat hotpot AND sushi …in Manhattan! The value made the food taste even better. I loved everything about my lunch here, delicious food (great options for hot pot, sushi rolls, and sides which come inclusive), super friendly service (went for Sunday late lunch so there were only 3 other tables dining), and gorgeous interior. Definitely the prettiest hot pot restaurant I’ve ever been to! Please be sure to come hungry because it’s a ton of food! And I think it was really tasty (I recommend the mushroom soup base) especially for the price! Also, they have happy hours. I’ll have to come back to try the elevated AYCE option ($79) which has a larger menu of hotpot items and sushi AND beer!
We had a fabulous hotpot sushi dinner here. Staffs are super friendly and always attentive to our needs. The food is so delicious and fresh. Definitely luxury feel for the decors inside. Update: 3rd visit while in New York. Service was slow and waiter has avoided my son’s requests. The salmon sashimi came out not fresh and super small. Don’t order their sushi, barely a super thin slice of fish, with a lot of rices. The quality of food and service is definitely going down the drain. Too sad for the business.
Excellent stop for traditional hot pot or sushi! For $40 we had unlimited sushi and hot pot selections. The servers were very helpful, and the quality of everything was excellent. I’ve had hot pot style meals in Japan and this was just as good!
This is the best hotpot spot we have been to in New York! Unlimited hotpot and sushi paired with the best service imaginable! There were so many options for add-ins for the hotpot and the sushi was incredibly fresh. It feels like a VIP experience really. The entire place is decorated so nicely! One (very small) critique is that the very spicy hotpot could use just a little more flavor. It was still good (and plenty spicy), but need some more flavor.
This place is new and the people are still learning, and you can tell (they messed up our reservation and had us wait ~20 min to be seated), but the attentive service here really deserves 6 stars. Our server was endlessly patient, and at no point were we made to feel like we had ordered too much. This place is true AYCE, and they don’t slow down service to make you order less, which I have experienced at other AYCE places and was worried might happen. We did the hotpot & sushi combo, and the experience was really worth it. Unlimited salmon sashimi and unlimited unagi was a dream come true. The hotpot itself was unremarkable, but I really wasn’t expecting much there. There were lots and lots of menu options, but some we wanted to order were sold out. I enjoyed all the appetizers and desserts (I basically tried everything). The appetizers and fruits were self service, which was convenient since we came famished. The total came out to be ~$100pp (tax + tip + 2 pots among 6 people). Did we each eat $100 worth of food? No way, not even close. But this high end AYCE felt almost like a festival, and for days I was feeling like a kid looking forward to a party that couldn’t come soon enough. I loved the entire dining experience, but I wouldn’t go back anytime soon. Certain things are best enjoyed in small doses; theme parks are one, and Raosu is another. Eating past satiety can’t be healthy for anyone. UPDATE I went again on Aug 20, and they clearly stepped up their game. I noticed the most drastic improvement in appetizers and desserts — I tried basically everything and the mango pomelo sago was so much better than the first time. Service continued to be excellent. They changed their menu/prices a little and it came out to be ~$80pp after tips and taxes. I am coming back for sure!
